Hey! Thanks for the reviews... and you'll have to read out and find out if she did or not(;

Kris sat across from her sister at breakfast watching as Lori softly brushed the back of Rick's neck. She rolled her eyes and snorted at it. She finished her plate and quickly jumped up from the chair.

"Lori, can I talk to you?" She asked nodding towards the woods. Lori nodded placing her things down before following her sister away from the camp. Once they were alone Kris turned towards her sister. She narrowed her eyes at her sister crossing her arms over her chest. "Are you having an affair with Shane?" Lori's eyes widened in horror at the question. That was all Kris needed to know it was true. Kris shook her head at her sister. "You are disgusting! Out of everyone you fucked your husband's best friend!"

"Kris, you don't know what you are talking about!" Lori argued pointing her finger at her sister. Kris slapped the hand away from her.

"Try to lie to somebody else Lori. It's written all over your and Shane's faces. You are sick! Your married." Kris snapped in disgust.

"I thought he was dead and it's over. You need to keep this to yourself." Lori sighed, running her fingers through her hair.

"What afraid I'll tell your husband?" Kris asked drawing out the word husband. Lori narrowed her eyes at her sister.

"Just for once keep your mouth closed." Lori snapped with venom.

"I've been here for one day and noticed it, honestly how long do you think it'll take Rick to find out his wife is a whore?" She asked shouldering past her sister and heading towards the camp. She was pissed for something she shouldn't be mad about. When Rick asked her where she was going she just mumbled something about "walk" "whore" and "alone." He just shrugged it off as another Kris episode. She continued down the dirt road until she was far enough from everyone. She climbed on the fence letting out a sigh.

How could her sister do that? Of course their marriage had never been perfect but Rick tried. He was always good to her sister. Now her sister goes and does this. She slammed her foot against the fence causing it to shake. How dare Shane do that to man he called his brother? And her sister dare tell her to stay quiet about it. She should have laughed in her face then told Rick what his wife really was. She frowned at the thought. She couldn't do that to him. Telling him his best friend and wife have messed around behind his back would kill him. She climbed off the fence slowly walking back.

And she couldn't say anything to Shane because he had threatened her. Was she really the one to judge her sister when she was just as bad? She had done something awful as well as Lori. She could feel the guilt rising in her stomach. She was a hypocrite. Her fist clenched at her sides. She wanted to beat something up. No not something somebody. Shane.

She stomped back towards the camp to find everyone had gathered around in a circle. She stood behind Glenn and Andrea listening to Rick talk about a well of some sorts. She rolled her eyes when Shane put his opinion it. After everything was settled Kris turned on her heel and headed back towards her camp that was until she heard her name being called. She snapped her attention to Shane who was waving for her to follow him. She really didn't want to. She sighed giving up and following the man out of hearing range but not where nobody would see them. She wasn't that foolish. She had no idea what Shane was capable of.

"What do you want, Shane?" Kris sighed brushing her hair away from her eyes.

"So you know huh?" He asked looking her up and down. Studying her reaction to the ordeal.

"Really wasn't that hard to figure out, idiot" She snapped narrowing her eyes at him. How she hated this man.

"Lori said you weren't going to tell Rick, she thinks you are actually being a good sister but we both know that isn't it. You are afraid to let her know how awful of a sister you are." Shane laughed darkly causing her to glare harder. She wasn't going to lie this new Shane creeped her out. He was dark, and she had feeling he could snap her neck when ever he wanted too.

"If I wanted to tell him I would Shane. It has nothing to do with that." She demanded clenching her fists at her sides. She wanted to hit him. He shrugged her off before smirking at her. He cocked his head to the side looking her up and down while licking his lips. Her lip curved into a snarl as she raised her eyebrow. "Looking for anything?"

"I just remember all the good times we use to have when we hated each other. All that sexual tension." He smirked still running his eyes over her body. She rolled her eyes at that.

"Well maybe if you weren't trying to ruin my sister's marriage I'd actually consider sleeping with you. But I can't stand you and I'd rather fuck a walker" She hissed as his eyes landed back on her face. She wasn't going to lie hate sex was great. Her and Shane had amazing sex back when the world was normal. Though they hated each other it only made it better. Now if Shane hadn't slept with his sister, she probably would have sex with him but he did so she isn't. "I have to go. I won't tell Rick, he'll figure it out soon enough anyways" She shrugged turning to head back to camp. She stopped when she seen the redneck walking in the opposite direction of the camp. Jogging, she easily caught up to him.

"Where you going?" She asked running up to his side. He rolled his eyes at her before adjusting the crossbow on his shoulder.

"Look for Sophia." He told her without looking at her. She nodded her head looking over her shoulder at the camp. Hell she didn't have anything better to do.

"Great I'll join you." She suggested looking up at the sky.

"Don't you have better things to do. Like bother somebody else." He said in an annoyed tone.

"I'd rather bother you" She shrugged before sighing. She actually liked the redneck ever since he caught her and stood up for her against Shane. Not that she couldn't handle herself, but him and Rick are the only two men who had ever stood up for her. She could see herself drinking a beer with him at a bar or something. "Plus beats being stuck with my sister and her drama." Daryl grunted she figured he was ignoring her. She didn't care so she continued. Using her hand, she shielded her eyes looking up at the sky. "I need a drink."

"Should have brought you some water." Daryl said stepping over a fallen tree. She smirked stepping up on the log.

"I mean a real drink" She placed her hand on her hip.

"A fruity co-ju-go what the hell ever they're called isn't a real drink" he snorted walking away from her.

"Typical!" Kris laughed bitterly. "Just because I'm a woman you think I drink those lame ass cocktails." She jumped from the log walking behind him. "I drink whiskey straight, big boy!" She crossed her arms swinging her hips as she walked. Her whole body read attitude. He looked over his shoulder smirking at her. She almost stopped walking for a moment at the new facial expression. She'd be lying if she said it wasn't pretty damn hot on the redneck's face.

"Wanna prove it lil girl?" He asked reaching into his jacket pocket. She sped up catching up to him looking to see what he had. She smirked her blue eyes showing something devious. He pulled out a flask before dangling in front of her.

"Sure do" She smirked kinking her eyebrow at him. He tossed it over to her and she easily caught it. Flipping the top she placed it to her lips. She almost moaned when the liquor burned her throat. She pulled it away before licking the whiskey from her lips. She closed the top before tossing it back over to Daryl. "Thanks." she smiled before continuing in the direction they were going.

They walked in silence, Kris leading the way with Daryl behind her. The silence was killing her. She was never the quiet one and she wanted a conversation even if it was with the redneck. Months of silence had taking her toll of her. Now all she wanted was to talk.

"So are you related to the little girl or something?" Kris asked ducking under some thorns. She got a grunt in reply. She knew the type of man Daryl was. She had dated plenty of them in her past. Not much into talking unless it was sarcastic smartass comment. She pulled her band off her wrist and tied her hair into a messy bun. "I'm take that as caveman for no." She mumbled rolling up her sleeves and tucking her shirt into her shorts. She looked over her shoulder at him not stopping. "You don't like me much, do you?" She honestly wanted to know. Though he had stood up for her with Shane she could tell the redneck had a displeasure with her.

"Never said I didn't." He replied pushing the thorns away instead of ducking under them.

"Is this because I kicked your ass?" She smirked when he narrowed his eyes at her.

"Hell no, and you didn't kick my ass." He snapped before turning his attention to something else. She snorted as his response.

"I so did."

"I ain't ever hit a woman and I wasn't gonna start then." Daryl demanded quickening his pace and walking passed her. She rolled her eyes following him. He sure did fit the character. Most men like him would hit a woman. She had dated some, and sure enough they had hit her. Maybe he wasn't like them. Her mother always said never read a book by it's cover. She decided she actually get to know Daryl. He was sorta nice, he had saved Shane from her. She smiled at that thought.

"So Daryl how did you end up with group?" She asked staring at the man's back.

"You talk to damn much" Daryl snarled not bothering to look over his shoulder.

"You talk to damn less" She threw back at him in a joking way. She thought she heard a quick laugh, or was that a snort? She wasn't sure. "So tel-" She was cut off by her foot getting caught on a branch. She fell forwards landing on her stomach. She felt the pain in her forearm when she hit the ground. Hissing she sat on her bottom in the piled of leaves. "Damn I think I cut myself." She mumbled looking at her elbow. On her elbow was a medium sized cut. It wasn't deep and it only stinged a little.

"Let me see." Daryl demanded kneeling down beside her. He took her arm in his hand a little to roughly causing her to hiss.

"Watch it hick" She hissed when the pain shot up her arm.

"It's nothing. A lil' scratch" He snorted letting go of her arm and moving to his feet. She rolled her eyes before she started picking the leaves off herself. She didn't even notice Daryl had his arm out until she looked up. She smiled at the offer taking his hand with her other hand. With a quick yank he had her on her feet. After removing her hand from his she started brushing the leaves and dirt from herself. "You wanna head back?" The question took her by surprise.

"Why?" She asked him confused at why he'd want to head back so early.

"Your arm?" He offered motioning towards the small drip of blood running down her forearm. She wiped it away with her other hand.

"You said yourself it's nothing." She shrugged then looked up at him. "Besides I'm not one of those girls. A little scratch won't hold me back. I once fought my ex off with a concussion and sprained wrist, this is nothing." She liked how he didn't give her a pity look. Instead it was a look of respect. She waved towards the direction they were headed. "Shall we?"

She wasn't sure what time it was when they finally got back. The afternoon sun was high in the sky. She could see the campsite from the tree line. She stepped out into the field. They hadn't found anything about the little girl but it wasn't a complete waste of time. She sorta made a new friend. She started walking back to the camp but stopped when she noticed Daryl wasn't behind her. She turned around raising on her blonde eyebrows at him.

"You coming?" She asked throwing a nod in the direction of the camp.

"Nah, Imma hunt with out you nagging me. I'll be back before dinner." He explained wondering why he told her that in the first place.

"Okay." She shrugged turning and started walking towards the camp. Stretching her arms over her head, she headed towards the house. She hadn't seen Carl all day after this morning. She wanted to check up on him before heading to do whatever she was suppose to be doing. As she reached for the door it came flying open hitting her in the mouth. She cursed holding her chin as she stumbled backwards falling on to the porch. "Mother fucker" She hissed pulling her hand away from her chin to see a small amount of blood. Her lip must have reopened when the door hit her. Narrowing her eyes she looked up at the idiot who hit her.

Kneeling down to her eye level with a sadist smirk on his face was Shane. She should have known it was him.

"You really need to watch where you are going" He smirked reaching out and tapping her chin with his knuckle. She smiled allowing the blood to run on her teeth before spitting at him. Droplets of blood splattered across this face. The smirk on his lips slowly started to fade as the smile on her face grew.

"You pathetic piece of shit. Knocking a girl around to make yourself feel a little better. It's sickening." She laughed bitterly causing blood to drip down her chin. Shane narrowed his eyes at her dangerously. He stood up pulling Kris with him as he did. She pushed his hold off before wiping the blood with the back of her hand only smearing it across her cheek.

Shane opened his mouth to say something but his name was called from inside. He quickly left her going inside. She decided not to check on Carl knowing Lori was with him. She didn't want her sister bothering her right now. She was pissed. If it wasn't for her sister Shane wouldn't be bullying her.

Instead she jumped off the stairs and headed towards the camp. She needed to wash up. If somebody saw her they would ask questions she couldn't answer. Ducking her head she headed towards the camp. A curse slipped when she heard Rick call her name. She ignored Rick calling her name as she headed towards her tent. There was a water bottle inside she could use to rinse out her mouth. Quickening her pace she tried to reach the tent before he caught up to her. She cursed under her breath when he caught her arm pulling her a stop. She yanked from his grip turning to look away from him.

"What?" she asked shadowing her face.

"I've been calling your name. Why were you ignoring me?" He asked moving closer to her side. She looked to her left towards the trees.

"I didn't hear you." She lied still not looking at him. She really did want him to see her face.

"Wel-" She cut him off in a snappy tone.

"Look Rick I gotta go, I ain't got time." She snapped before she started walking towards the tent.

"You're part of this group now, Kris. You can't go-" He caught her arm turning her around this time. She pulled her arm from his grip. She watched his eyes drop from hers to the blood. The features on his face softening at the sight of it. He stepped forward grabbing her face in his hands. She tried pulling away but his grip was firm and wouldn't allow her to. She searched his eyes as he stared down at her bleeding lip. He narrowed his eyes before looking into her eyes. "Who hit you?"

"Nobody" she mumbled trying to pull away from his grip again. Once again she couldn't. She hated this. Too close She told herself as his thumb ran along her smear of blood.

"Who the hell hit you, Kris?" He asked his time in a firmer more demanding voice. She hated how he could see through her lies. Some of them anyways.

"I walked into a damn door, Rick. Nobody hit me." She sighed causing him to drop her face and grab her wrist. He walked her towards the tent. Sitting her down on the log, he pulled her rag and bottle water from her bag. She held her hand out but he poured some of the water on the rag.

"Rinse your mouth out." He instructed holding out the bottle of water. She nodded doing as told before spitting the water on to the ground by her feet. She turned back to reach for the rag but froze when it brushed her cheek. Rick gently washed the blood from her chin before starting on her cheek. He wasn't looking at her but at the task at hand. "I know somebody hit you. I'm not stupid, Kris" He whispered still not looking at her. She didn't take her eyes from his face.

"You can't prove it, officer" She whispered trying to sound like a smartass. Maybe if she through some witty comments at him he'd leave her alone. But knowing him, he wouldn't.

"Don't give me that." He snapped leaning back to pour some more water on the rag. He was staring down at the water hitting the rag as he asked. "Was it Daryl? I saw y'all head in-"

"God, Rick no. Daryl would never hit me." Kris whispered causing him to look up her. She sighed looking down at the blood on the back of her hand. "He's not that type of person."

"Then who is that type of person?" He asked handing her the rag to wash the blood from her hand. She wiped it off avoiding the question. He asked again causing her to stand to her feet.

"Just leave it alone Rick" She sighed stomping her foot on the ground. "We both know I can handle myself." He stood to his feet as well.

"I didn't say you couldn't" He sighed placing his hand on his holster. She hated when he did that. He made him look dangerous, and- She cut the thought off.

"Well then leave it alone. I'm not a kid anymore, or have you forgotten?" She snapped before turning on her heel and walking off in another direction. She pulled her hair from her ponytail. She now wished she was once again alone. She wouldn't have to deal with so much drama. She groaned running her hands over her face. She was in trouble.
