Hiya people. Sorry its been a while, I hope this chapter is give you a little more inside to Alice's personality and who she is.

Last time -

"Tala you need to keep her sweet, Il deal with the other prob..." Tala cut Kai off. "NO KAI. Im sick to death of you thinking you know better, we are dealing with this together" with that Tala stormed off up stairs.

Kai looked over to where Cassia was sleeping before he left her to speak to Tala. Regret was all he felt, why did he leave her? laying back down on the sofa, it was still warm and smelt of Cass, but it didn't satisfy him enough. He wanted to hold her close to him, tell her she was his and nothing else matters.

Chapter 14

Trust Is All We Have.

Cassia couldn't figure out what was wrong with Alice, every time she asked her Alice just told her it doesn't matter. She couldn't help feel like it did matter, nothing ever made Alice cry unless it was bad.

Alice couldn't help but feel guilty, betrayed and it wasn't even her life that would be ruined. She could tell Cass was concerned, but what could she tell her? Maybe running away straight after was not the greatest idea, but she needed to get away. It made her feel sick to her stomach.

Once back at the hotel Alice still didn't say anything, just locked the car and headed to her room. Cassie tried talking to Alice, but no response was given. Alice didn't even give Cassia time to say night, she didn't want to hear her. Once at the room Alice just closed the door, locked it and cried.

Cassia could hear Alice, leaning against the door and crying. 'What happened? She was fine earlier on in the night' With that thought Cassia went to her own room. She would deal with Alice tomorrow but now she needed to get whatever sleep she could, tomorrow is going to be a long day.

Alice POV

For the rest of the night I fell in and out of sleep. Laid out on the sofa, with only a blanket covering me. It was about 7 o'clock and with only a few hour of actually sleeping, I knew that today wasn't going to be easy.

My body was hurting all over, legs and arms felt two heavy to carry around. My head was throbbing, I didn't know if it was from all the crying or what Tala did at the Abby; Tala... He's made me feel so angry but at the same time it hurts and I'm not quite sure if its me im hurting for or if its what they are doing to Cassia.

Feeling my phone vibrating from under my pillow, I checked it; With no surprise it was Tala...again. He had rang over 11 times and every time, I cancelled his call. This time was no different, I didn't want to hear his excuses or reason, it won't make any difference.

Within minutes Tala was ringing me again, this time I got really frustrated and threw my phone across the other end of the room. "You can ring all you like, I'm not picking up" I shouted to nothing but thin air. It started to go off again, I let out a frustrated scream and stormed Back over to my phone. Just as I was about to answer it a knock came to the door, it must be Cass. Walking across I didn't bother to look through the peep hole, and just open the door.

Tala POV

After about a dozen calls and still no answer, I decided going to see her was the only option I had left. So here I am stood behind her hotel room door, ringing her again. After a few rings I heard Alice scream and throw the phone across the room "You can ring all you like, I'm not picking up"

It made me smile slightly, I can imagine the fire in her eyes. I try one more time to ring her, hoping she might break. After a few rings I hear her scream, now was the perfect time to knock. It didn't take her long to come and open the door. I'd thought she would have checked out who it was first.

As soon as I saw her, I felt a pain run over me. Her eyes where red and puffy, from crying, she looked tried and worn. I couldn't help but feel guilty, knowing that it was my fault she's being put through this.

Once she realised it was me, I quickly put my foot and hand on the door so she couldn't shut it in my face. "If you had just answered the phone I wouldn't be here" I tried to keep a calm voice.

"If you hadn't noticed I don't want to talk to you, now fuck off" she tried pushing the door shut again but I forced it back open. "Alice you have to listen to me, let me explain"

"WHY? So you can tell me more lies?" Alice tried her best to be strong, but I could tell she wanted to cry.

"I'm here to explain things to you. Please just let me in, I would rather not have to do this out here" I quickly glanced over to Cassia door, I couldn't have her hearing any of this. "Please Alice, I'm begging"

General POV

She didn't want to know what he had to say. Just seeing him makes her want to go crazy on his ass! After a few seconds of pondering, she looked at Tala. His face was begging her to let him in.

Alice held the door back to let Tala come through. Once he was inside she kept a firm distance and went to make herself a coffee.

Tala noticed the quilt and pillow all screwed up on the sofa. "You get much sleep?" Alice turned to glare at him "what do you think?" He couldn't help but feel the venom in her tone.

He watched her make her coffee. Her shoulder were slumped down and body posture showed how tired she was. He didn't even realise how much attention he actually paid to her, until now. It hurt knowing she was hurting because of him "Alice... I" Alice cut him off "I don't care what you have to say Tala" turning around, she placed her hands on her hips, showing her dominance to the situation. "You will not prove to me that what you and Kai are doing is right"

"I know that. Just think about it Alice..." Tala tried to keep his cool. If he shown any aggression she would just throw him out. "What will telling Cass do? It won't help anything"

Alice tried to keep her cool with him "It won't do any good lying ether, I can't do that to her Tala. Im her manager but she's my best friend first. Me knowing this is betrayal to everything we have been through. I could lose my job and best friend if she found out I knew all along" worry crept over Alice, along with tears forming.

"Alice, you need to take out how you feel about this. You think both me and Kai enjoy lying, not just to you and Cass but everyone. My life has never moved on from that place, you can see that. Look at what I did to you last night at the Abby; that is the version of me I'm trying to get rid of. If people find out the truth, that's it. Everything is over" Tala moved towards Alice. He took hold of her shoulders with both hands, bringing her around fully in front of him. Alice moved her head away from his sight, trying to hide her tears running down her cheeks "I've finally got my little sister back. 8 years I've kept tabs on her, people following both you and her just so I knew she was safe" he wiped away the wetness on her right cheek.

"You... you was watching us?" Alice said in a shaky breathe.

Tala nodded "Yes. Iv seen pretty much everything you have both been up to"

Alice stood back from him 'he knows everything about my life with Cassia. How vulnerable I was and how much I'v tried to change who I am. What if he knows about...'Alice thought to herself. "You... But... Why? Why would you do that?" Her voice started to shake. Anger and sadness flared in her. "Am I apart of some sick joke between you and Kai?. Lets see how long it takes for Tala to bang the precious 'Princess Heart' girl, was that it?" Alice pushed Tala back.

"No that wasn't it at all. Alice non of this was meant to happen. The night I first came to you I wasn't out to sleep with you, it just happened. You have to believe that"

Alice shook her head "I don't think I can believe anything you say anymore" it was only a whisper but Tala heard every word like she shouted it out.

Walking back across he embraced her into a tight hug. Alice tried to pull away but his grip was to strong for her. He caught her arms with one hand and held them to his chest, while he pulled her waist closer so they were touching.

Alice couldn't fight, her body and mind was to weak. She just cried, sobbed into his chest.

Tat let go of her hands and placed his on the back of her head "Alice. I'm so sorry for all this, but please don't tell Cass. Once all this is over you can leave Russia and never have to come back. You don't have to see me or Kai again, if that's what you want"

After a few minutes Alice had stopped crying. Tala still rubbing the back of her head. He didn't realise how venerable she actually was, always showing this hard exterior and now she's broken down; because of him.

"I have to go get ready, it's the shows final dress rehearsal and then we have to meet your old teams right?" Alice gazed up at Tala, he had a warm smile on his face. "Yes but, Cass would understand if you told her you was not feeling well. I can cover for you"

Alice shock her head "I don't know Tala, I need to keep Cassia organised. She gets so restless and stressed at times like these"

Tala took her hand and lead her across to the bathroom. He stood behind her while she stood full view of herself in the mirror. She was still wearing the sweat pants and top Kai gave her last night. Her curly hair was all frizz, her skin was pale with blotches of red around her eyes and cheeks. "Does this look like a girl that can go do a full days work? You will only make Cass more restless as she will be two worried about you"

Alice knew she looked dreadful, no amount of make-up would cover up these blemishes. She just shook her head "I have to, it's my job. I'm already letting her down as a friend Tala, I won't allow it as her manager" she pulled out of Tala hold and went to the bedroom. She started going through her clothes in the wardrobe, picking out her blouse and skirt.

Tala followed and just watched, he knew he was in no position to be forcing things on her but what choice does he have. If she can't keep level headed then god knows what she will say or do.

Alice knew Tala was watching so once she had her clothes she turned her back towards him and started to remove her sweat pants and top. Tala couldn't help but steer at her as she removed her clothes. His eyes roamed her full frame, she had amazing legs and then her ass; It made his cock jerk slightly. "Alice" Tala called out. She turned to look at him before closing the bathroom door. "Thank you" was all he said.

"Don't thank me Tala, this is not for you" with that she closed the door and started the shower.

Cassia POV

"Cassia" I heard a voice call my name. "Cass" the voice got louder. My sleeping form couldn't register if I was dreaming or awake. I felt the softness of the pillow on my face and the warm sheets wrapped around my body. "Cass" I heard it again but ignored it, pulling the quilt over my head I hoped it would go away.

Once the voice had stopped and I settled back down the quilt was pulled off my body, I tired grabbing them back but nothing was there. Cracking one one open I realised I wasn't dreaming. Tala was stood at the bottom of my bed holding the sheet in his hand. "Urgh... What do you want" I said frustrated. I didn't want him in here, I wanted to sleep.

"It's time to get up, you have a fashion show to attend" Tala said smiling at me.

"I don't want to go, too tired" snuggling back in to my pillow, wrapping both my arms around it. Attempting to drift back off to sleep until I felt my feet being pulled down the bed "Tala what are you DOING?" He had hold of both my ankles and dragging me over the side of the bed.

"Alice is feeling sick, so I'm covering for her and sorting you out. We have not got time to play games. I need..." After being dragged nearly off the bed I threw a pillow at him with all my force, knocking him straight to the floor. He realised my ankle then.

Crawling over the the end of the bed to see Tala with an unhappy expression on the floor "What do you mean Alice is sick? She's never sick" that is strange Alice always worked through it, it's an important event and she wouldn't miss it unless something was really serious. I knew she was upset last night but I didn't think she was sick.

Tala stood backup, wiping his combats down. "She's taking the morning off. She's hardly slept and when I went to see her just 15minutes ago she was basically on auto pilot"

"Did she look like she'd been crying?" I noticed Tala body tense up slightly.

"Her eyes looked a little puffy but nothing serious. Why would she be crying?"

"When we left last night she was in such a hurry to leave the house and then when we arrive back at the hotel she just went to her room and cried. I could hear her leaning up against the door. I didn't know what to do as she wouldn't speak to me. Do you know what's wrong with her?"

"She is a big girl Cass, I'm sure she's fine. Just not feeling well. Now get up and get ready, you have a busy day" Tala trying to change the subject.

"You better not have hurt her Tala!" I warned him. Alice was defiantly upset about something, this isn't like her.

"Cass, why are you blaming me? She's sick. Will you just get up and get ready. You will only make Alice worse if you don't get on with your day and she will have my head if everything doesn't go to plan" Tala voice was starting to get higher and more frustrated. "Why don't you just do as your told. No wonder Alice is ill, if you stress her out this much"

"GET OUT!" I screamed and threw my other pillow at his head.

Tala this time expected my attack and hit the pillow away just in time "You have 15 minutes, or I'm dragging you out of here with what ever your wearing."

General POV

Tala close the bedroom door to Cassia shouting at him. He wasn't listening to his 24 year old sister have a temper tantrum.

Taking off his jacket he made himself comfortable on the sofa. Closing his eyes, he felt like going back to bed. He had gotten no sleep after the Alice situation and then the argument with Kai. He needed to get away. The only place he could go was work. He needed to do something to occupy his mind and stop him from doing something stupid. Last night Tala lost a small amount of control and it pained him. He promised himself when both him and Kai agreed to sort out the company that he would be more like a normal person, not this heartless monster he felt he had become.

For the last 4 years he had found that place that felt right. The person he had grown into and wanted to be, until Cass came back and bought Alice with her. "Alice" Tala whispered to himself.

He had never lost control with any of the girls he ether slept with or let into his life. He always kept them at arms reach and disposed when he felt it was two much. It may seem heartless to some but for Tala, he felt he had become a kind and genuine person in some ways. Then Alice came along; in just over a week he took more notice of that girl than any girls in his life. She was becoming vital to him and Kai's work, then there was feelings he's developing. Somehow Tala has let this small, dark eyed girl into his mind and let her take over, it frustrated him how careless he's been. Someone like him would never be able to have a normal life with a normal girl who cared for him, but yet a small part of him felt that Alice could understand him. Then again nether of them was normal, she was a heiress to the biggest company in the world and still she was playing house with his sister, standing in the back ground letting Cassia take all the fame.

Tala got bought out of his daze when hearing the front door open. Kai stepped in with 2 coffees and a bag with some sort of food inside. Kai was wearing his leather jacket, scarf, dark jeans with some black doc martins. While Tala wore grey combats with a white long sleeve top and some biker boots.

Kai or Tala havn't spoken since lasts night events. Tala didn't want to hear what Kai had to say at the time but now he knew they'd have to talk at some point.

Kai walked across to the kitchen and placed the drinks on the countertops "I thought you'd be with Alice" Kai said while getting a plate out the cupboard.

Tala didn't look over at him just kept his eyes closed "She isn't feeling well. So shes getting some sleep ready for later"

"You could use a few hours, you look a state" Kai didn't look over towards Tala just kept prepping breakfast.

Tala sat forward and placed his hands on his knees "You know what Kai, I'm getting tired of your constant attitude of thinking you no best"

Kai still didn't turn to look at Tala "so... You did get some sleep last night then? Was your office sofa comfy?" He knew mocking him was not the best thing right now, but he new getting Tala to stay with Alice was the best to do.

Tala got up in a frustrated manor and stormed across to Kai "Dude. What is your fucking problem? I am trying to sort this shit out. Iv been doing paper work for the opening, final touches to make sure it all goes smoothly. Unlike some who are more interested in getting into my sisters pants"

Kai's eyes flared at his comment. He knew Tala would be angry and blame him for what happened last night but he didn't expect him to sink so low. Kai turned his head just so he could see Tala in his line of sight "Watch your mouth Valkov. Iv put as much effort into that place as you have"

Tala crossed his arms over his chest "At this rate all the planning is going to blow up in our faces, I can see it Kai. We are in big shit"

"Don't you think I know this already. I'm trying to make Cassia trust me so if it does blow in our faces, she will understand why I've been protecting her" Kai finished breakfast and placed 2 croissants, a blueberry muffin and a little pot of honey on the breakfast bar.

"We need to cover our tracks Kai, Alice is going to be tough. I had her crying in my arms earlier. I don't think she's going to hold out" Tala went quiet at the last bit. He wanted to hit something so much, he had not felt this angry and upset since being at the Abby.

"Go spend the day with her Tala. I will deal with Cassia. I need some time with her anyways, I have my own problems to deal with"

Nether Kai or Tala noticed that the shower had turned off "What problems might that be?" Cassia stood at the door with a towel in her hands rubbing at her wet hair. She wore a pair of light denim style leggings (jeggins) with a black and white striped long sleeve top. Her make-up was natural with just a hint blusher to define her cheek bones.

Kai looked over to her, smiling "Problem that we have a busy schedule and not enough time in the day to do everything, plus I have a surprise for you" Cassia eyes brighten at the thought of a surprise, but it wasn't like Kai to show his affection for her in front of anyone; not even Tala.

"So whats the problem?" Cassia said walking over admiring breakfast.

"Alice was meant to have sorted it out, but with her falling ill. It will have to wait" Kai turned and looked at Tala. Tala could see Kai easily lying his way out of this one. He didn't understand how he did it sometimes.

"What? You can't do that Kai. Tell me iv got a surprise then take it away from me, like that" Cassia clicked her fingers in front of his face.

Kai smiled at her. He loved seeing her get all excited and then frustrated so easily "Hn, well you better ask your big brother if he will give up a few hours and help Alice get it ready for you"

Cassia turned to look at Tala, his expression hadn't changed from earlier. It was along shot, so she put her hands together and applied her best puppy dog eyes and look at him with a big smile "pleaseeee Tala"

Tala wasn't sure what to do, he knew Kai was trying to get him to go spend some time with Alice, but now he had to come up with a surprise of some sort. This day was just getting worse by the seconds and its only just started. "Cass, we have a busy day. I have not got time to deal with silly surprises for a spoilt brat" it was unfair what he said but he didn't want to deal with this.

Cassia seemed to let the insult slide as she really wanted her surprise "please, please Tala. Kai can take me to the fashion rehearsal and then we can all meet up later. Also you should go keep an eye on Alice if shes poorly" she was jumping up and down, with excitement. Anyone would think she was 16 again. "Plus I'm sure Alice wouldn't mind some company" Cassia winked at him, even thought the thought of her best friend and brother made her feel a little sick, she knew how to get him to do what she's asking.

Tala could see Kai nodding at him to go spend the morning with Alice and leave him to sort Cassia out. After a big sigh Tala grabbed his jacket and started walking towards the door "OK, OK. You owe me" was all he said, then slamming the door on his way out.

Cassia satisfied with her victory, she turned and saw a grin appear on Kai's face "and what are you smiling at?" She crossed her arms over her chest.

Kai new she was happy with her win over Tala but he was even happier to have her all to himself for the morning. He took hold of her arm and brought her towards him. Wrapping his arms around her waist and bringing his lips to hers. She didn't resist his kiss, only embarrassed and wrapped her arms around his neck.

"Kai..." Cassia muttered against his lips. He didn't release her until she pushed him back "Take it easy Kai" Cassia blushed slightly.

"When I came back last night you was gone. I'm taking back what you owe me for leaving" Kai said with a devilish look.

"I left because Alice came to me crying and she was begging to come home. Do you know what happened Kai?" Cassia looked at Kai with sadness all over her face. All she wanted was someone to tell her what happened last night.

"I saw her and Tala come back in last night, they both looked stressed out. God knows Cass. She's a big girl, don't worry" turning around he grabbed her coffee off the side.

Cassia smiled, took the coffee off him and tasted it "perfect, just how I like it" she seemed surprised he remember.

"Black, 2 half sugars. Now eat your breakfast, we have to leave soon"

Cassia placed a kiss on his cheek before sitting down and eating what Kai had bought for her.

*scene change*

Alice POV

After taking an extra long shower, I'd hoped it would wash away the sadness I felt in my heart. To my surprise it did nothing, only burn my skin. Standing in front of the steamy mirror, I wrapped a towel around my body and wiped the mirror to see myself. My skin a slight tint of red from the shower being too hot and my eyes still puffy from crying so much.

"Urgh. Look at me" I mumbled to myself.

Walking out the bathroom and into my wardrobe, I smelt something cooking in the kitchen. putting on a fresh pair of night shorts and top, along with my robe I went to see what was happening.

To my surprise Tala was stood cooking. 'What is he doing here?' His jacket laid across a chair while his long sleeves were rolled up his arms. His broad shoulders and red hair stood out more than ever. "What are you doing?" I said in a firm tone. Tala didn't turn to look at me just continued cooking. He had laid out plates with a knife and fork across at the coffee table next to the sofa. "I'm making us breakfast"

"What about Cass Tala. You said you would sort her out" I placed my hands on my hips and stepped towards him. He didn't answer me. Getting frustrated I grabbed hold of his right shoulder and pulled him around "WELL?"

"Kai is sorting her out Alice, what do you want me to do?" He didn't shout but he wasn't standing down.

"I left you in charge of her Tala. But your now here cooking breakfast in my kitchen"

"They don't need me with them. Anyways Kai wants me to sort a surprise out for Cass and I don't have a clue what to do, so I need your help"

"Are you asking me or demanding?" I poked him in his chest.

A small smirk appeared across his face "actually I'm bribing with pancakes, bacon and syrup" I looked over to see a stack of pancaked waiting for me with a pot of coffee. "Go sit down, it's nearly ready"

"I'm not hungry" crossing my arms over my chest, I stared at him.

"Fine more for me" Tala just smiled while placing the rest of the pancakes on the tray and walking across to the sofa.

We didn't speak for a few minutes, I just poured coffee from the pot, added cream and half a sugar. Tala turned on the tv for the news. He ate his food and watched what was happening in the world.

'In other news, Mr. Stephan Heart and son Preston Heart have reached there 1.5 Dillion increase for the year and they still have 3 months left. Also claims of Mrs Louise Heart filing for divorce has finally been confirmed; reasons have not been identified yet. Whilst the youngest heiress Alicia Heart has been in Russia managing the 'Ice Angel' herself Cassia Valkov, daughter of Robert Valkov. There preparing for Moscow fashion show and working with Kai Hiwatari and Tala Valkov on the re-opening of Biovolt. I wonder how she's feeling knowing she gave up a profit of 1.5 Dillion to help the company that is her fathers biggest rival. If you ask me she should be re-thinking her game plan...' Tala turned it off.

"What a load of bollocks" I said while leaning on the side and drinking my coffee.

"That's a good profit, tell me again why you don't want to be apart of it?"

"Because there both lying bastards. They will do anything for power and money I hate it. That's why my mother is divorcing him, he has always been snake with her, just something pretty for his arm and to produce heir's"

"The divorce has been going on a while then?"

I just shrug my shoulders at him. I didn't know anything about a divorce, I've been gone so long and not kept in contact I don't know what's happened to my family. "I'm not apart of there life anymore. I don't keep in contact most of the time and when my mum rings me, she just wants to know how I'm getting on, thats it. I don't ask about my dad or brother" I picked up my coffee and sat on the floor with Tala on the other side of the coffee table. I pulled the stack of pancakes that was left, poured syrup all over them and began to eat 'not bad'.

"Well it's there loss, and our gain" Tala smiled at me.

I gave a slight frown and finished what was left in my mouth "hardly, Once all this is over I'm out of this thing you and Kai have going on. It's all a fake show and hardly truthful at all. You talk about being genuine when really your just lying to save your own backs"

"If that's what you think Alice then fine, but if you truly meant it then why have you not left already? If we are such bad people" I didn't know what to say. The reason I'm still here is for Cass but then... why have I not told Cass yet? It's all so confusing.

"Exactly... Alice you are a business woman, that is what your whole life is about. Friendship no matter how much you say Cassia comes first, it's all a lie"

I slammed my fork on the coffee table, causing a loud bang! "What do you know about how I feel or what Cassia means to me? You are playing caring brother when actually it's all business"

"So if it isn't business to you why have you not told Cass yet? Why didn't you go straight to her and tell her everything?" I couldn't listen to this, why am I being blamed for something that him and Kai are responsible for?

I got up with the empty plate and took it across to the sick. I heard Tala follow me across the room "No answer?"

Anger was rising through my body, I didn't know how to react. I want to shout but I want to cry "please Tala, just leave me alone" I whispered through my teeth.

"No, I actually want to know the reason why you have not been to tell her? You make out like her best friend and have her best interest but what is your actual plan? Because from day one you have hardly been genuine at all have you ALICE?" I started to shake. His tone was aggressive, and he knew he was pushing me over the edge "We'll...?"

Turning around to face him; he had his arms cross over his chest with a stupid 'you know I'm right' expression. Then I just blew "YOU WANT TO WHY" I started pushing him back.

"My whole life I was told that I was never good enough to be in business. Never had the correct ruthless mind set to make it with the big boys" as he started to step away from me I got closer to hit him in his chest "I was always known for being 'Princess Heart' spoilt little brat. I am here to prove to everyone their wrong, including you!" Tala grabbed hold of my hands so I couldn't hit him anymore. Tears started to form in my eyes "I found out about you guys, and this Biovolt thing. Once you told me your's and Cassia's history I decided to take matters into my own hands. What a better way to be fucked over by your own daughter, by her joining the enemy" I pulled my hands out of his and stepped back, tears running down my cheeks "It was so easy, Cass being persuaded to join you guys again, keeping everyone all sweet. How much better could it have been" then I felt the guilt hit me. "But then you! You and that stupid smile and everything else you use to seduce me with; came along and started to ruin things" Tala frowned slightly "All I want to do is prove to people that I'm not a push over and I can make it into the business world on my own, not with my family name."

"What changed? Why can't you still do that? You have already used Cass and now us aswel, why admit it all now?" Tala just asked these simple questions like it meant nothing, no venom or hate towards me.

"Because I can't live with myself knowing that those monster men are out there and they want Cassia, I love her so much and can't see her get hurt, know one was meant to get hurt in any of this. I just needed to prove to everyone I can do this, but now everything is just one big mess. And you" I pointed towards Tala "This is all your fault, you have ruined everything. It was meant to be some fun between us but its not now, it's all serious and I hate myself for playing right into your hands, everything is ruined" I placed my hands on my face and sobbed, falling to the floor and curling up into a ball.

I felt Tala bend down to try and comfort me; I kept pushing him away, not wanting anything from him. But he was two strong and pinned me against his chest. "Shhh... Everything is going to be fine, I promise" I heard him whisper in my ear while he rubbed my head. I couldn't stop crying "I'm so sorry Tala. No one Was meant to get hurt, honest. I'm just so sorry"

Tala didn't let go of me even when my sobbing calmed down. I had hiccups, my head was sore and I felt so tired. "What are we going to do Tala?" I whispered.

Tala pulled my shoulder back to look at me. He gave me a small smile and wiped my tears away from my cheek "Right now, I don't know but what i do know is we have to work togther Alice. The rest we will figure something out later, ok?" I just nodded.

"What we need right now is to go have a few hours sleep and prepare for this afternoon"

"You don't hate me? I just told you I'm using you guys and you are ok with that" Tala smiled and nodded "Alice, you are the most amazing woman I have ever met. Don't you think I knew you was hiding something, one second you was brutal and next you was soft and innocent. It didn't add up. Me and Kai need you in this company, only you know how to bring your father down and we are going to make it happen" I was lost for words. Only Tala would be able to accept everything like it meant nothing.

We didn't say another word, he lifted me up and took me across to the bedroom. He laid next to me, wrapped his arms around my waist and kissed my head. I didn't know what was happening between me and Tala but what I do know is, all the stuff I'v found out about Tala and Kai I now have no choice but to go along and pretend everything is the same.

I just hope Cassia will forgive me one day.
