The crisp, cool zephyr breezed throughout the atmosphere on the late, summer night. The night Pokémon echoed and chattered about through the trees and bushes of Pallet Town. Most of the area was dim, having only moonlight shining down below. Small, yet visible stars scattered throughout the dark, indigo sky that accompanied with the moon's shine.

It felt relaxing.

Her petite hand pointed up to the sky, keeping it aloft as she spoke in a very calm manner. "See all these stars, Green? Isn't it relaxing?" she pressed, a wide grin curving her pink lips.

Green's hand rose up to his head, removing her hat that was shielding his face from the starry night. His emerald orbs flickered from the sky, over to Leaf, and let out a small chuckle as a response. "I suppose..." He lifted himself off the tile shingles his back rested on, and sat his body up. The brunet crossed his legs, blinking down at the walkway that lead to his house. Sure, in his mind, he was disapproving of the whole 'let's sit down on your roof and watch the stars' idea that Leaf had oh-so-brilliantly hatched up. But hey, it was what she wanted, and he was willing to do what she wanted of him—as long as it wasn't too risky... or dealing with her brother—

His thoughts faded like cotton candy the moment her arm latched around his own. The brunette snuggled into his left side, watching the petite Kanto champion bury her small face into his arm with a small squeak. Hey, that felt damn good...

"Thanks for being here with me," she murmured against his sleeve, pouting a bit. She knew that he had better things to do than to waste his time with her doing unnecessary—

Her hazels widened once his lips met her forehead, placing a chaste peck of affection. Her head dared to tilt up, meeting his captivating, green eyes. He smirked at her. "You're damn lucky I always got time for my girl," Green answered, leaning down.

They failed to see the shooting star that shone below them, as they were busy in their sweet lip lock.
