Chapter 22

As hard as she tried Carly couldn't help but think about that video, that obviously Pete had posted online in a very nasty attempt to somehow get back at her. Freddie was a feeling a little lost, not knowing what to say to cheer up his girlfriend right now and that made him somehow wish that he would be able to get his hands on that bastard very soon and make him pay dearly for what he had done. But he quickly scratched that idea, as he realized that that jerk probably wasn't worth it sinking down to his level even if it was so hard for the ICarly tech producer to keep his anger in check.

In an effort to distract from all those negative thoughts for the rest of the day, Freddie finally said:

"What do you think about think a little movie night at my place? Thankfully my mother is out of the house tonight, so that means that it's only you and me without any interruption."

Carly smiled brightly for the first time today since the whole thing with the embarrassing online video did have a very negative impact on her mood and replied: "That sounds totally awesome, but I get to choose the movie okay?" The Web hostess looked at him with her best puppy dog eyes expression and of course he couldn't say no to those wonderful eyes, that he nearly got lost in every time he looked at them and finally answered back with a huge grin on his face:

"Of course you can choose the movie Carls; you should know that I'm always a true gentleman."

She couldn't help but grin in return, being so glad of the fact that Freddie always knew how to cheer her up and she really couldn't be any happier with any other guy from Ridgeway High School.

Out of nowhere Freddie flipped Carly onto the couch and started one of his famous tickle attacks, what resulted in hysterical laughs from the ICarly web hostess and for that moment all those thoughts about this horrible video where blown away. Meanwhile Sam was pacing her room impatiently, certainly feeling so sorry for her good friend Carly and she couldn't imagine how bad the brunette must feel right now besides of the fact that Freddie was definitely there to comfort her during this difficult time. Barely being able to contain her anger about this jerk, the dirty blonde angrily threw a punch into the cushion on her bed. She would give anything right now, for being able to rip off Pete's head right at this moment even if that probably wasn't the thing that Carly would want. It certainly would be very hard for her to contain her anger in front of that jerk, but she certainly would have some very harsh words for him because she just couldn't let it slide when someone was trying to embarrass one of her good friends.

Back at the Shay's apartment Freddie was still busy with tickling his girlfriend, who had failed to get out of his tight grip so far. She had even laughed so much in the past hour, that some tears out of joy had come down her cheeks and after the web hostess had finally been able to catch her breath again she said: "Okay I give up, please stop because I can't take your tickle attacks anymore!" At the very moment Freddie wanted to help his girlfriend back into a sitting position, she rapidly turned the tables on him and as she finally hovered over Freddie Carly said with a huge grin on her face:

"I finally got you! I can't believe that you fall for the same old trick every time. " Then the two just stared at each other for a while, before Carly closed the little distance between them and surprised Freddie with kissing him gently on his mouth.

Not being able to resist that kiss attack in any kind, the ICarly tech producer gladly allowed his girlfriend's tongue entrance into his mouth and for quite a while the two just forgot everything around them.

But this little romantic moment got soon interrupted, as Carly's brother was coming through the door of the apartment and was loudly making his arrival felt by clearing his throat two times. Quickly the two teens got back into a sitting position on the couch, Carly being clearly embarrassed of the fact that her brother had caught her and Freddie right in the middle of this act and Freddie just wanted to disappear in the next hole in the ground.

Spencer of course clearly didn't want to embarrass his sister and Freddie anymore, so he casually finally said after a long awkward silence between them: "You want to stay over for lunch Freddie?" Trying his best to cover up a slight blush out of embarrassment on his face Freddie finally answered:

"Of course I would love to do that; I just need to make sure that it is okay with my mom." Spencer was surely happy for his sister, but he hoped that it wouldn't become a regular thing catching them right in the middle of a little make out session on the couch in the living room. After Freddie had left the apartment, leaving the two Shay siblings to themselves for now her brother said: "Hey kiddo you've got to promise me one thing, don't get kids too early okay?" That statement made Carly blush again and she just answered back shortly:

"Of course I promise Spencer but let's not talk about this topic anymore now." The both then just grinned at each other to ease the awkwardness just a little bit, before Spencer finally left the living room area to get busy with preparing the lunch in the kitchen.

Later Freddie, Carly and Spencer ate Carly's brother's famous spaghetti tacos together and of course the two lovebirds couldn't help but exchange some short innocent glances from time to time.
