AN: The Adam in this story is not the one who was on the show last season.

Finn was awake as the sun started to rise, watching Rachel sleep beside him. The entire week had been blissful for them, well with one exception.

Flashback-Early evening of their first night in Malibu

Rachel had stepped out of the patio doors of the mansion they were staying and had started to walk down to the path that led down to the beach. She was wearing a purple bikini that had a strapless top and a low cut bottom with strings on the sides. He had been right behind her, wearing a pair of gray swimming trunks and for once wasn't wearing a shirt.

They held hands as they walked down to the beach and took in the sun setting on the water. The sun was low in the sky as the light blue started to slowly transition to a dark orange. Neither one of them had ever seen a sunrise or a sunset over the ocean and was planning on seeing the former when they moved to New York in couple of weeks but this was spectacular to see.

Rachel leaned up to kiss him, which he gladly returned before they started to walk along the surf. All they could see was each other until a young woman around the same age as they were came walking up to them. She smiled at him in a flirtatious manner, completely ignoring Rachel.

"Hi, my friends and I are having party on the beach and I would love it if you would come."

"No, thank you. My wife and I are going to walk on the beach for a few minutes before going back home and enjoy the rest of our honeymoon," he had said, holding up his left hand up to show her his wedding ring.

The woman threw her blond hair, a color that he had heard Kurt say was too blond to be natural, over her left shoulder before giggling at him.

"You look too young to be married. Are you sure you don't want to come to my party, you don't know what you are missing."

Before he could stop Rachel, she had slapped the girl hard enough to knock her to the sand.

"Are you hard of hearing? He told you he was married and not interested in your party. Leave us alone, now."

Finn had grabbed Rachel and pulled her back up to the house before the girl or the friends that had gathered around her could retaliate.

By the time he had gotten her to their bedroom, Rachel was on him like she had never before, kissing his neck and had wrapped her legs around his waist. If honeymoon sex had been awesome, sex with a pissed off Rachel marking her territory was amazing.

Finn smiled at the memory of the things she had done to him before laying back down beside her and going back to sleep.

They were still sleeping at around ten in the morning when the sound of a car pulling into the driveway had woken them up. It had led to them getting out of bed, pulling on their robes and stepping out on the balcony to see who was here.

Rachel smiled in delight as the young man and woman in their early twenties, each with dark curly hair and dark eyes got out of their rental car and walked to the trunk to get their luggage. The male was about ten inches taller than the woman.

"Adam! Alyssa!"

The two of them looked up and waved to both Rachel and Finn before getting their luggage and walking to the house.

Twenty minutes later after they had a shower and had gotten dressed, Finn, wearing a grey t-shirt and a pair of jeans, and Rachel, wearing a white sundress that had thin spaghetti straps, a sweetheart neckline, covered in gold starts and came down to right above her knees, came downstairs to find Adam and Alyssa in the kitchen, getting something to drink. Rachel rushed into the room and hugged them both before walking back over to Finn, putting her arm around his waist.

"Finn, this is Adam and Alyssa Morgan, Bonnie and Walter's son and daughter," Rachel said. "This is Finn, my husband."

Rachel felt the same thrill that had gone through her everytime she had said that Finn was her husband.

"It is nice to meet you," Adam said, walking over and taking his hand to shake them with Finn, before glancing over at Rachel. "I hate that Alyssa and I missed your wedding. We had final exams to take before we left for our summer vacation."

"Your mom and dad explained what was going on," Rachel said. "It will be nice to hang out with you guys this week and see the parts of LA that Finn and I have always wanted to see."

"I'm glad. I thought the two of you would be pissed at having your honeymoon interrupted," Alyssa commented before smirking mischievously. "I hope the two of you have done more than stay around the house for a week. Although it would be understandable given that the two you are newlyweds."

Finn and Rachel both blushed while Alyssa high fived her brother, who had the same type of smirk on his face. Anymore teasing that might have taken place was interrupted by the sound of a cellphone ringing. Adam looked down and saw that it was his so he answered it, walking away to have some privacy.

"So what have the two you done this week besides seeing how many times you could make each other moan," Alyssa inquired, grinning.

"We did try and walk down to the beach the first day and see the sun set over the ocean but this little bleach blond surfer girl wouldn't leave Finn alone and I had to slap her. The rest of the week, we watched it on the balcony that is outside the room we are staying in and then went swimming in the pool."

"That sounds like Ginger Flanagan. She lives in Nashville but her family has a vacation home here. It is two houses down and if I remember correctly, she is moving to New York in the fall to go to NYADA. She is using her daddy's influence as a Grammy winning songwriter to buy her way onto Broadway. I'm not saying that she doesn't have talent but she refuses to do the work and would rather mooch off of her dad. Adam had to scream at her that he was gay one night at a party to get her to leave him alone. She refuses to believe that there isn't a male on this planet that wouldn't want her."

Finn detected a touch of bitterness in Alyssa's speech and had a strong feeling that she had lost someone to Ginger. His suspicions were quickly confirmed a few seconds later.

"When we have our party the night before the two of you leave to go back to Lima, she isn't invited, so there won't be any drama with her. She also won't be at any of the parties that we go to this week because my friends are very loyal to me and can't stand her after she slept with my now ex-boyfriend during spring break."

Rachel walked over and hugged her friend, knowing from their phone conversations that Alyssa had really been in love with Trevor. She had also heard that the two of them had been talking about getting married after graduating from NYU next spring.

"Did he try to explain what happened and why he did it?"

"He said it wasn't what it looked like," Alyssa snorted disbelievingly. "That Ginger set it up. I didn't believe him and dumped his cheating ass."

Before Rachel and Finn could respond, Adam came back from where he had been on the phone, putting it back in his pocket. He put a comforting arm around sister's shoulder, not saying a word but letting her know he was there.

"Let Adam and I put our luggage in our rooms and then we will take a drive down the coast to Santa Monica before going to Beverly Hills. According to Aunt Hannah, Adam needs to take Finn to buy a new suit for the Remington party tomorrow night while Rachel and I try to find new dresses," Alyssa stated, rolling her eyes. "We always have to go to a party where we have to network with one of her business associates at least once during our summer vacation. At least the two of you don't get to experience it until your honeymoon is almost over."

"I don't have the money to buy a new suit or Rachel a new dress," Finn said, his pride starting to do his thinking. "I am not taking charity."

"I understand that," Adam said, trying to calm him down. "Mrs. Berry took the money that Hannah gave to the two of you and had it put into a bank account in both of your names. She had them make the money available so that it could be used by the time Lyss and I got here. She sent the bank cards and check book that came in the mail with us; all you have to do is activate the cards. She also set it up so your pay from Mr. Berry while you work on the apartment building is deposited into the account."

Finn was getting ready to comment again when Rachel touched his arm gently. She looked up at him lovingly before starting to speak.

"Finn, what's mine is yours and what's yours is mine. That money might have been my inheritance but it was meant for the both of us to get started with our lives together. Besides, we might meet someone who can help in my future career."

Finn felt his resolve melting because he wasn't immune to her eyes when she was pleading with him for something. It had been difficult to refuse her during the second part of their junior year when they had been broken up even after he gotten back together with Quinn when she used them on him. It had pissed his former girlfriend off because when she tried that with him, it never worked. That should have been his first clue that it had never really been there between him and Quinn.

"Okay, we will use the money while we are here but after that we need to leave it alone unless it is to pay our expenses or if an emergency comes up."

"Agreed," Rachel said, standing up on her tip toes to gently kiss him on the cheek. "We need to learn to make our own way in this world and not depend on my inheritance to live off of. I was thinking that I could get a job while I am going to school."

"Rach…"

"You aren't the only one who should be thinking about our financial future."

"While the two of you discuss this, Adam and I are going to take our things upstairs so we can leave; although you might want to get your shoes on while we do that."

The siblings went up the white marble stairs that led to a balcony that overlooked the huge living room and kitchen area. Finn and Rachel watched as they walked into area where the family had their own bedrooms, which was opposite from the guest area where Finn and Rachel had been staying.

The young couple gazed out the sliding glass door at the pool and the ocean view that was just out into the horizon before going upstairs, holding hands.

The moment they got to Rodeo Drive, Finn and Adam had separated from Rachel and Alyssa, the two of them going into Brooks Brothers while Alyssa had led Rachel down the street to another boutique owned by a friend of Bonnie's. At first, it had taken a bit of effort to get Finn and Rachel away from each other since they had been joined at the hip for a week. It had taken Alyssa telling them that she and Adam would leave them alone after they had dinner that night to make them let go of each other's hand.

As Rachel and Alyssa stood by the counter, waiting for Olivia Dupre, the owner, when two young women came into the store, going over to the racks of clothes along the back wall. One of them, slender redhead who was about five foot ten, was talking about how two of the best looking men she had ever seen had come into Brooks Brothers while she was leaving. It was when she mentioned the tall one with the whiskey colored eyes and what she wouldn't mind doing to him that Alyssa spoke up.

"Were you too busy admiring his assets to notice he was wearing a wedding ring?"

The redhead and her companion glanced over and were getting ready to make a smart comment back when an exotic looking woman in her mid-fifties walked out of the back. She had long dark hair, almond shaped green eyes and the pale alabaster skin that burned in the summer but looked flawless for the age she was. Her dress was a red fitted silk that came to her knees and fit her trim figure to perfection. Her face lit up with the smile she aimed in Alyssa's direction before she came over and hugged her.

"Your mother told me that you and Adam would be home for the next two weeks. I was hoping that you would come by to see me."

"I brought Rachel here to find the both of us a dress for Miles Remington's party. She is here on her honeymoon this week."

"You must be James and Camilla's granddaughter; I have heard that you are going to NYADA in the fall."

"Yes ma'am. How did you meet my grandparents?"

"I met them at President Clinton's first inauguration back in ninety three. He was in his uniform and one of the most handsome men in the room and couldn't take his eyes off of your grandmother, who looked like a tiny porcelain doll in her dress."

"Excuse me, a little help here please," the redhead said with an attitude.

"Oh I see you are back again, Waverly. What can I help you with this time?"

Olivia stood there and waited for the redhead to speak. Despite the impatience Rachel could see in her eyes, the store owner was grace itself on the outside. She was one of those women that her father had told her was born with class and style.

"I need a dress for a party in Malibu on Friday night. My father wants me to attend and meet the granddaughter of a Medal of Honor winner and her new husband and that she was also Hannah Coleman's niece so I had to be nice to her or he would cut me off."

Alyssa giggled at her words, leading to Waverly turning to face her with irritation in her jade eyes.

"What are you laughing at?"

"She is standing right here and I don't think you made a good impression on her when you started gushing about her husband's whiskey colored eyes and nice ass."

"Alyssa, she didn't know that Finn was married when she said that besides Waverly is right, my husband does have a very nice ass," Rachel said. Now that they were married and Finn had more than proven his love for her, the jealousy that had caused so many problems for them was a thing of the past.

"You are Rachel Berry?"

"It's Rachel Hudson now but yes I am."

"I apologize for what I said, it was disrespectful," Waverly said, reaching out to shake Rachel's hand. "My grandfather served with your grandfather in Vietnam and he told me that if it wasn't for him, he wouldn't have come home. That he was true American hero."

"That's okay, after my dealings with Quinn Fabray and Santana Lopez when it comes to Finn, what you said was fairly tame."

Somehow Rachel ended up telling Olivia, Waverly and other women that had come into the store hers and Finn's story. There were gasps of shock at some parts, tears as Rachel described their wedding and irritation as she described the reception and how it was almost ruined.

"That Quinn sounds like my cousin Ginger," Waverly stated. "She is so pissed that I am going to the Remington's party and not her. She was a stupid ass and slept with the boyfriend of Marion Remington's best friend during spring break. Now she is paying for it by being the only member of our family not invited to party that everybody in our circle wants an invitation to at the beginning of the summer season. Even my aunt, who normally defends everything her precious angel does, is mad at her for what she did."

"You are related to Ginger Flanagan," Alyssa inquired.

"Yes, I can't stand her. She will try to steal another woman's man and not care who she hurts to do it. She did it to me this past Thanksgiving but after I punched her in the nose last Christmas at our grandmother's house, Ginger hasn't tried that again."

Rachel started to giggle as she remembered her own encounter with Ginger and the slap she had gave her for trying to seduce Finn. The other women turned to her, curious as to why she was laughing.

"I think we need to start a club, Waverly and invite all of the other women that I am sure have slapped or punched your cousin for hitting on their man."

"I didn't get that far with her. Adam dragged me away before I could stomp her head into the floor," Alyssa complained.

"You're Trevor's ex-girlfriend? Wow, I don't blame you for wanting to kick my cousin's butt. She's the type of girl that the only females that are friends with her are the ones that want to be like her and that only lasts so long because they proceed to stab each other in the back over the others boyfriends."

"If Finn hadn't of dragged me back to Alyssa's house, there were about six girls that looked like they wanted to jump me."

"The way to handle Ginger is to inform our grandmother of what is going on and she handles her. Her mother wanted my head on a pole for even daring to punch her little angel but after I explained to grandma and her dad what had happened, Ginger got the lecture of a lifetime. Of course, it doesn't seem to have done any good."

While they had been talking, Olivia had been pulling dresses for Alyssa, Rachel and even Waverly to try on. She handed the redhead a green chiffon cocktail dress that would match her eye color to perfection. Alyssa had been handed a black knee length strapless silk dress while Rachel's was red and ankle length.

The each went into a dressing room and while Alyssa and Waverly had both already tried their dresses on and paid for them, after getting Olivia's approval, Rachel was still in the dressing room.

When she stepped out, Olivia right behind her, everybody in the store stopped to stare at her. She was wearing a red strapless dress that went down to her ankles. It had beading, lace and applique embellishments on the bodice, a sweetheart neckline and a mermaid shape. It fit her trim figure to perfection.

"Rach, you are exquisite," Alyssa said in awe of her friend.

"Your husband will love that dress, trust me," Olivia commented. "Every man will want you and every woman will want to be you."

Waverly and the other women in the store nodded their heads in agreement before Rachel stepped back into the dressing room, Olivia following her to help undo the laces holding the dress together.

She had gotten back in there just in time for Finn and Adam to walk into the store, making every woman turn her head to look at them. Both young men were handsome but with Finn's height, he was the one that most of the women seemed to stare at the most.

When Rachel came out with Olivia holding the bag, containing her dress, she rushed over to him and they shared a kiss that made everybody sigh at how sweet they were. Waverly couldn't believe that she actually thought they looked wonderful together after her initial comments about Rachel's husband.

"I can see why Ginger wouldn't take no for an answer," she commented. "He definitely looks better up close than the brief glimpse I got as he went into Brooks Brothers."

Rachel grinned over at her new acquaintance before responding to the curious look that Finn was giving her.

"Finn, this is Waverly Flanagan. She is the cousin of the girl who wouldn't leave you alone on our first night here."

"It's nice to meet you, Waverly," he said politely.

Waverly picked up her dress and started to leave with her friend, who had stayed silent the entire time. Before going out the door, she turned to face Rachel.

"I'll see you at the party tomorrow night," she stated before walking out the door to the shop.

Alyssa and Rachel did the same thing before leaving with Adam and Finn, going to find somewhere for lunch before doing some sightseeing before driving back to Malibu.

Finn was waiting down in the living room of the Morgan's mansion watching as Adam talked on his cellphone, running his fingers through his dark curls. Whoever he was talking to on the phone had irritated the other man to the point, he was cussing the person out.

"So you choose to do this now after I have left New York? I want your things out of my apartment by the time I get back in two weeks. We are over."

Adam hung up his phone, throwing it towards the couch in agitation. He glanced over at Finn, who looked curious at what was going on but not saying a word.

"That was my now ex-boyfriend, James. He waited until I left New York to tell me that he is taking a job in Miami and breaking up with me. I need to call my mom to go over and make sure that he doesn't take anything that doesn't belong to him."

Adam grabbed his phone off of the couch and started to dial a number while Finn stared at the top of the stairs in shock. He couldn't speak as he watched Rachel walk down to where he was in a dress that was perfect for her. Any doubt about the money spent on it went out of his head and he wished that it was already after the party so he could peel it off of her and make love to his wife.

"How do I look?"

Rachel's quiet question made him finally speak, his voice hoarse with desire.

"You will be the most beautiful woman there, Rach."

Rachel smiled lovingly at him and leaned up to lightly kiss him.

"Rachel, you have plenty of time to kiss your handsome husband after the party is over. Don't ruin your makeup," Alyssa stated as she walked down the stairs, her knee length black silk dress fitting her petite form beautifully, and the strapless sweetheart neckline giving her a sense of a cleavage that the young woman normally didn't have.

"Lyss, I think dad would have a fit if he saw you in that dress," Adam commented as he continued to talk to his mother on the phone. "Okay, I will send you a picture, Mom."

Adam took his phone away from his ear and quickly took a picture of Alyssa, Rachel and Finn in their clothes for the party before sending it to Bonnie.

"I just sent it, Mom. Thank you for doing that for me and one of us will call you tomorrow to tell you how the party went."

Adam hung up the phone and went over to take his sister's arm, leading her outside to the limo that was waiting for them in the driveway. Finn and Rachel gazed lovingly into each other's eyes before following them outside.

A few hours had passed and the party was well underway in another oceanfront mansion a few miles away from the Morgan's home. Rachel had been the talk of the party as several of the wealthy patrons had stopped to talk to her about her dress, Camilla and James, her wedding or her acceptance to NYADA.

The only issue that had come up when the eighteen year old son of their host had decided to hit on Rachel, it had taken her showing him her wedding ring and pointing out Finn to him to make the boy back off. Miles Remington, an African American male in his mid-forties had pat his son on the back in a comforting manner as he had passed by him before continuing his conversation with Adam about the merger he and Hannah were discussing between their companies. Adam was interning in the LA office of his aunt's company before going back to finish his senior year at Columbia and a job already set up in the New York Office. One of his ideas the previous summer had led to the coming merger.

"Leave me alone, Trevor!"

Alyssa's voice carried throughout the party before she went outside to the patio, a blond haired man around the same height as Finn, following her outside.

"I told her he was coming but I didn't think he would really talk to her," a brunette about the same height and body type as Quinn Fabray said as she came walking up to Rachel and Finn, who had just rejoined Rachel after going to get them a diet drink from the bar.

"That's okay, Marion," Adam said as he walked over and put his arm around the shoulders of his sister's best friend. "I have told her that GHB was found in Trevor's system after that party but she is so hurt and angry at what happened between him and Ginger, it is easier to be angry at him."

"I wish she would go off on Ginger and get it out of her system so she can work things out with him. You and I both know that they are miserable without each other," Marion commented before turning to Rachel. "You and your husband have got everyone talking, Rachel. I can already picture of the two of you on the red carpet of the Tony's or some other awards shows and being put on the best couples lists with Brad and Angelina."

Before anybody could respond to Marion's comment, Waverly came through the crowd with an older gentleman with graying dark hair on her arm. She smiled at Finn and Rachel before starting to speak.

"This is my Uncle Jason. He really wanted to meet the two of you."

Jason reached over and shook hands with both Finn and Rachel before starting to speak. Waverly, Marion and Adam had all walked towards the balcony where a loud argument could be heard coming from the pool area.

"Another mess my daughter has made that has to be dealt with by somebody besides her," Jason muttered to himself. "Your grandmother called me, Rachel and has asked me to do a favor for the both of you. She told me that the two of you had written a song for each other and was hoping I would make a demo of you performing them before your honeymoon was over. After reading the lyrics she sent to me of each song, there has been interest in both of them from other musical artists wanting permission to record them."

"Really," Rachel asked, her dark eyes lit up with excitement.

"Yes. An up and coming Country singer named Sasha Monroe is dying to record 'Get It Right' and wants to use "Pretending" as a duet with her boyfriend, Matthew Wilson. They love the words of each song and after they were shown the recorded performances from the competitions that your grandparents sent to me, they loved them even more, especially the kiss. They said they felt a connection to them."

Finn felt a thrill go through him at the thought of somebody recording his song and that this would do wonders for Rachel's career.

"I don't have a problem with them using 'Pretending' but Rach has to agree for them to use her song too. We are a package deal."

"I want final approval of the song before it is put on her album and released to the radio stations," Rachel said.

"That is understandable. I suggest the two of you get a lawyer you can trust to handle the paperwork and to make sure the two of you get the best deal for your songs. I have a feeling the two of you are going to become very wealthy because these songs are hits. I will call you tomorrow about the two of you coming to my studio to make a demo of these songs," Jason stated. "I have heard about what happened with the two of you and my daughter. My wife has promised to take her shopping while we are working so she will leave you alone."

The three of them continued to talk as the rest of the party went on around them.

A few days had passed since the party and it was time for Finn and Rachel to head back to Ohio to pack their things and spend time with their families and friends before making the move to their New York apartment. Their luggage was being put into the back of the cab they had called to take them to the airport while they each shared a final goodbye with Adam and Alyssa.

"I'll see the two of you in the fall when school starts back," Alyssa said, hugging Rachel. "Although I might come back early to help out with repairs on your grandfather's building."

"Alyssa, I know you are still trying to run from Trevor but after hearing your other friends tell me what happened, you are being too hard on him. He was a victim of Ginger's too. From what I heard, he almost overdosed on the drugs she slipped him," Rachel said comfortingly.

"I know but until I can get the image of the two of them in bed together out of my head, I can't be with him again."

"Understood," Finn said, her words bringing back memories of his own feelings about Rachel kissing Puck. He had since admitted his own part in what had happened to cause her to do it but at the time, Rachel was the one at fault, not him. He had also found out that Santana had been pushing Rachel's buttons had also led to more understanding on his part. The only true innocent in that whole mess had been Sam and the fact that he hadn't tried to kick Finn's ass for the crap he pulled over Quinn showed who the better person had been in that situation. Only for Finn to realize that he hadn't truly wanted Quinn back because he trusted her again but to hurt Rachel and take his mind off of how much he still loved Rachel.

As soon as the trunk closed after the last of the luggage had been put into it, Finn and Rachel got into the cab. They waved out the back window at Alyssa and Adam before settling back in their seat for the forty minute trip to LAX and the private plane waiting to take them back home to Lima.

AN: This has been the longest chapter of this story so far and I hope everybody liked it. I introduced some new OC's and a few of them could become recurring in this story.

The next chapter will be the start of a three chapter transition from Lima to New York before getting into the events of season 4 where it will be a mix of canon and au moments. Brody will make appearances but will not be romantically involved with Rachel in any way shape or form. The canon characters and OC's will revolve around Finn and Rachel's story , which is what should have happened in season 4 instead of the God awful mess we got. What idiot in their right mind takes their two leads that have the most chemistry and separates them. Even when Finn and Rachel weren't together during the first two seasons, there were still moments of angst and drama that Cory and Lea played to perfection. Taking away that dynamic in season 4 was an act of utter stupidity on the part of RIB and the other writers. As much as I hate to admit it, we most and likely would have gotten the same crap this season and the next one had Cory survived, unless the ratings still would have fallen and he had been moved to New York with everybody else in future episodes, although we would have been spared the threat of Samchel happening on our screens. I guess we will never know.

I do think Ryan's version of Finn and Rachel's ending was a bunch of BS and a copout. He would have never been able to keep them apart that long and not have the ratings suffer. That was a huge part of the problem last season and he is either in denial or really that oblivious to why the ratings suffered like they did last year. I apologize for the rant but a lot of the decisions the writers have made for this show since season 4 still piss me off to think about them and how Cory was taken for granted last year as a prop for a group of newbies that shouldn't have been put ahead of the original group that everybody fell in love with.
