Halloween was an exciting time of the year for the small family. That was until they realized Sam had been puking almost every day since the end of September. So in between costumes and buying candy they scheduled a doctor's appointment. Unsure if whether or not a standard test would tell them anything.
Nine months old the triplets were becoming quite opinionated in their lives with their own personalities. Even though they hadn't started talking yet. Well nothing more than papa and dada. Sarah was dressing up as a treble cleft. A costume that Kurt demanded he be a loud to make. Natalie was going as a little pink button something else Kurt was making. Jack was going in yet another Kurt Hummel creation as a teddy bear with a Blaine added bowtie.
Sam and Artie were sitting nervous in the doctor's office. "Sam what the hell are we going to do if you are pregnant again? We can barely handle taking care of the three we have. And what if it's triplets?" Sam laughed and kissed Artie's knuckles. "Our love will carry us through." Artie just chuckled and kissed Sam's cheek.
"Evans!" the two boys walked into the sterile office they knew fairly well and waited for the doctor. Dr. Felton walked in and looked at the two boys she knew fairly well. "Well what did you two boys get yourselves into now?" The boys looked at each other and smiled saying in sync: "Make up sex." The doctor laughed and patted the bed for Sam to get up on.
Sam got up on the bed and lifted up his shirt. She rubbed the goop which he knew was cool to the touch on and turned to the boys. "You two need to stop fighting."
The two boys grabbed for each other's hands and smiled. They smiled terrified smiles. "C-can you tell if it's triplets again?" the doctor looked at the sonogram. "Not just yet, but comeback around Christmas and I'll tell you everything that you want to know."
So that night the boys went home and told their families who were oddly happy and supportive. If not just a little bit terrified themselves of what the hell was happening. I mean could the boys handle two sets of triplets? Even if it was just one could they handle four kids?
Sectionals approached fast after Halloween and soon Beiste had the kids with her once more. They were a bit more alert this time around and instead of sleeping and mindlessly staring at the stage they were cheering Papa and Dada when the boys had solos. When they were done they smiled and waved at their happy young children.
And when they won all they heard were the babies cheers.
