Chibi Vanitas: Finally, it's about time you got back!

Chibi Vanitas: I'm not little! And no, I didn't miss you! *glares*

Chibi Vanitas: And I'm not cute either!

*picks him up*

Chibi Vanitas: Hey, put me down you thing!

Here, have some ice cream.

Chibi Vanitas: *mumbles* is it sea salt?

Yes.

Chibi Vanitas: *takes it and eats*

Alright, now we can start the story.

A fairy godmother…? No way, there's no such thing… is there…? Samerella thought, looking at Aerith's features. Now Samerella has heard this somewhere before. But from where, that is?

"You? A fairy godmother? My fairy godmother?" Samerella asked curiously, wondering if this was all just a dream.

"Yes Samerella, your one and only fairy godmother." Aerith answered her with a giggle between her sentences. "I heard your cries and I came to know why." Samerella looked deep into her emerald eyes and sighed calmly and opened her mouth.

"It's my life, fairy godmother. I tried so hard to stay positive about my dreams… but there's nothing left to believe in. nothing…"

"Samerella, you don't really mean that, now do you?"

"…"

"Hm?" Aerith tilted her head to the side to get Samerella's attention, and waited for her response.

"Well… no." She finally responded with her voice being low.

"Hm. There's always something to believe in, Samerella."

"But I always believed of getting out of here."

"Samerella, if you wanna get out of here, you're gonna have to do it yourself. The bravery is in you, sweetie. Deep down in your heart." Aerith told her ever so calmly, patting her own chest.

"Me, brave? You don't know my step-mother… she discourages me like always." Samerella doubted herself, and Aerith disapproved.

"Ya wanna know what her problem is? She can't stand how amazing and intelligent you are." She complimented her. "Honey, this can't be what your father wanted you to do…"

"And you're right, it isn't. After he died, my whole world turned upside down." Aerith frowned and looked out the window, seeing the view of the palace. Then a smile came back on her face.

"But I can make it turn back by starting with a wish."

"A wish? Yeah right, wishes aren't real. They're impossible." Samerella hanged her head down. Then suddenly, music came in the background.

Aw snap, here we go! It's time to do a sing along, so show'em what you got Aerith! XD

Impossible, for a plain yellow pumpkin to become a golden carriage.

Impossible, for a plain country bumpkin and prince to join in marriage.

And four white mice will never be four white horses.

Such fol-de-rol and fiddle dee dee of courses!

Impossible!

Aerith span around the room as twinkly stars feel upon the room.

But the world is full of zanies and fools.

Who don't believe in sensible rules.

And won't believe in what sensible people say.

And because these daft and dewey eyed dopes keep building up impossible hopes.

Impossible, things are happening every day!

Samerella watched Aerith fly around the room and got up from her seat.

Don't tell me you're gonna sing…

Impossible! She sung. Aerith smiled and landed down right next to her.

Impossible! She sung back to Samerella.

Impossible!

Impossible!

Impossible…

Impossible!

Impossible! Sung by the mouslings. Aerith looked down at them and smiled at them.

"Wait, so are you saying I can go to the ball? Even it's impossible for me to get there?" Samerella asked her.

"Mmm-hmm," Aerith gave her a nod. "if you wanna go to the ball Samerella, then go. Nobody is stopping you but you."

"But I have no way of getting there, fairy godmother. Nor a dress to wear…"

"You do have a dress, Sammy!" Anna called out from below.

"I… I do?" She said.

"Yeah, we made it just for you!"

"Perfect. While they get your dress ready, there's a surprise for you." Aerith told her.

"Huh? A surprise… f-for me?" Samerella was dumbfound yet, so curious at the same time. Was this all real?

"Yes, right out in the back is your surprise. And right now, it's waiting for you." Aerith replied, as she disappeared from her room. Samerella ran out her room and went straight out to the backyard, but found nothing that awaits her. Was this her surprise?

"Um… f-fairy godmother…? Are you here?"

"Over here, Samerella." She answered from afar.

"I thought you said my surprise was waiting for me out in the back…" Aerith laughed and petted her head.

"Yes, I did. But it's out in the back… near the pumpkin patch." She said.

"Oh, near the pumpkin patch! Wait, are the pumpkins my surprise!?"

"Settle down, my dear. You'll see in a moment." Aerith waved her wand around a huge pumpkin and it started to roll around, growing its long stems into circles and making wholes as windows. The color of the pumpkin was becoming a pale orange, making it shiny to see your reflection.

"Oh… oh my goodness…" She was speechless, see how something that was once a pumpkin was now turned into a carriage. "it's beautiful, fairy godmother."

"I'm glad you like it this way, honey." She smiled at the young girl. "Now that your ride is taken care of, we need… let me see… four horses… and a coachman."

"How are we gonna find them at a time like this?"

"We'll think of something, Samerella." And as Aerith was coming up with a plan,

"Sammy! Your dress is here!" Her mousling friends called out. They dragged the dressed out the back to show her what they've made for several hours without her noticing. Since they were so small, and had a hard time bringing the dress to her…

Obviously…

Aerith giggled softly and raised her wand up, making the dress act on its own when it was lifted up.

"Look!" Pit gasped

"The dress! It's alive!" Sora yelled.

"Pika-pika!"

"No, no, no, little ones. I'm helping you with the dress that you made for your friend, Samerella." Aerith replied. She viewed the dress and saw that it was now dirty all over with holes that in some places of the dress. "Oh dear, it seems that this dress wasn't sewed in properly."

"But we worked so hard on it…" Yuffie groaned in complaint.

"And we wanted her to like what we made for her." Joceleyn added.

"Truth is we wanted her to be happy and that she can go to the ball." Namine sadly said. Samerella loved her friends like she was their older sister, but she didn't want to see them so down.

"Guys, it's alright. I know you did your very best to keep me happy and I'm glad you did. If the dress wasn't messy, I still would have loved it anyways." She said, gathering them all up into a group hug. "I love you guys so much."

"We love you too, Sammy!" They all said.

"This just gives me an idea…" Aerith mumbled. "Samerella, I need five mice in front on me, if you'd please." Samerella obeyed and choose the five mice who were Mario, Luigi, Link, Pit, and Sora.

"Yes, fairy godmother?" They all answered.

"Now this will not hurt, but there side effects of change." She started sprinkling fairy dust on the mice but Link somehow managed to escape the scene. The mice started to grow big, and bigger, and even bigger til their bodies started to change. Their paws became hooves, noses into snouts, clothing's became saddles, and their thin skinned tails were transformed into nice smooth ones with hair that was the exact same color of their own personal hair. Samerella gasped as she saw her four friends turned into something else.

"Why… why they're horses!"

"Yes, they are." Aerith said to her. "Huh, I'm sure I wanted five when I see only four. So where did the other one run off to?" The fairy looked all around til she spotted Link on top of Samerella's head. "Oh, there he is. He's on your head, my dear." Samerella place Link down again and made sure he wouldn't run off again. "Don't worry, dear, you're not gonna become a horse. Seeing you as a coachman for Samerella would be the perfect job for you." She sprinkled fairy dust on him, and watched Link as he became taller and more handsome.

Hurr Hurr X3

The female mouslings saw their friend turned into a human, and they couldn't keep their eyes off of him.

"Wow, Link looks cute in that uniform." Annie said, biting her lip.

"I hope the fairy will keep him this way. I like it." Kairi sighed happily.

"Well let's enjoy this view while it last." Yuffie replied. Aerith also gave him the ability to control the ride so that there were no problems at all. The last thing she needed to do for the night was to get Samerella ready for the ball.

"Well since the dress that your lovely friends made is ruined, I think there's way for me to fix this for you." She looked down at Samerella, viewing how she looks and was going into deep thoughts. Then the idea went through her skull.

Ding, ding, ding!

"Wait, I know just what to do now!" She grabbed the young girl's hand and placed her in a somewhere in the center. "Now I just need to put this on you…" The fairy teleported the dress right onto Samerella, and examined the dress once more. "Ya know, green doesn't really fit you all by itself. We need one more color... oh! That's it, blue!" Aerith made fairy dust swirl around Samerella. It made the dress transform into a new one, where the green and blue mixed together, with a small light shade of purple in the blue, and became a brighter color to match Samerella's smile. Light blue gloves appeared on her arms, and top of her head was a shining tiara. Her hair was automatically tied up into a ponytail with long bangs coming down on each side of her face. And right at the top of her chest was a small papou fruit attached to the dress. Once the magic was completed, and all the glowing was dimmed out, Samerella's dress was beautiful than before. Her friends were amazed as she was when they saw her dress. She looked in front and the back of her, seeing how wonderful it looks on her. Then she lifted up her dress and saw that she was wearing shoes that wear made out of glass.

"Glass slippers…" She whispered to herself, and went over to Aerith for an embrace. "Oh, thank you fairy godmother. Thank you so much." She said, almost feeling as if she was about to cry.

"Anytime, honey. I'm so glad I came to help you. Now come on, the prince is waiting for his "special guest"." She quoted, giving the girl a wink. As she led Samerella into the carriage, there's something she had almost forgot. "Oh, there's one more thing I need to tell you before you go. At the stroke of twelve the spell would no longer last, and you along with everything I changed into will be back to normal."

"Man, there's always a time for everything!" Yuffie pouted.

"Well, what time is it now?" Samerella asked.

"It's 10:30." Xion said, looking at the clock that was in the kitchen.

Good eye sight, Xion ;)

"So you have plenty of time at the ball. Have a great time Samerella and remember, dreams do come true if you make it come true." Aerith said her final words and disappeared as the last fairy dust Samerella saw swirled around the fairy. Link, now a coachmen, commanded the horses to start moving while Samerella watched her friends waved goodbye and wished her good luck.

"Bye Sammy, have fun!" Veara called out.

"Oh, and don't forget to say hi to the prince for me!" Annie yelled. Samerella waved them all goodbye and saw the view of the castle from afar, seeing how beautiful it looked. She was happy to go to the ball, but somehow felt nervous.

"I hope everything turns out alright." She prayed, folding both hands together.
