Hi everyone, I got distracted by StiNerva/ Ming... They're actually really cute :( Regardless of that fact I'm trying my best to find time to write this for you guys! I've already got my story all sorted out, It's just writing everything out thats left. Hope you guys enjoy this chapter! Sorry it's really short though :'(
Chapter 9: Muddled Feelings

Still super embarrassed about yesterday, Lucy brought Camille to MagiChild, a popular children's clothes store- also a place no tiger would be. Lucy was trying her best to keep her mind off Sting, and distracting herself with shopping for Camille wasn't really working. Everything she saw reminded her of Sting. The pretty pale yellow rain boots, with the gray fur poncho paired with the light khaki-colored cargo dress Camille had tried on screamed 'Sting' all over. "Cami... Just what are you trying to pull?" Lucy asked, clearly annoyed at what Camille was obviously trying to do, and that was to remind her of Sting. "What?" Camille replied, feigning ignorance. Camille had gone for breakfast earlier in the morning by herself, since Lucy was against showing her face in the guild at the moment. Camille had sat with Rouge, Frosch and Lector, Sting also seemed to be MIA. That morning, the entire guild took a vote on a pair name, Sticy or Stinglu. Sticy won in the end. Then they planned Operation Sticy, which was just doing whatever to ensure their ship would sail as fast as possible. Sabertooth was a jolly crowd, until the Master walked back into the guild, silencing all of them back to their solemn states. Camille didn't like him at all, especially since he had spoken to her so rudely even though she was only but a child. "What is this 'thing' doing here?Rouge. Explain." "She is here to join the guild, sir. She is a powerful mage that uses lost magic. She is waiting for the Lady to return from her job to stamp her guild mark. " "Hmm, I see. You, if I see you cry or fail in Sabertooth, you will have to strip in front of the entire guild. Erase you're own guild mark and leave with shame." Camille shuddered at the thought of him."Cami? Earth to Cami!" Her train of thought was interupted by Lucy. "Oh. I was just recalling my horrible first experience with the Master. Sorry." Camille responded sheepishly. They continued chatting as they walked back home. Upon reaching home, they were greeted with a little Minerva ambush. "LU-CHAN! I can't wait to tell you all about my trip it was so so wonderful and- oh, you must be Camille, oh my, do pardon my behaviour." Minerva was all over the place. After regaining her composure, she elegantly spoke to Camille, "So I've heard about you in the guild. Lost magic, huh? If you train with Sabertooth you'll be able to become very powerful. Would you like to join..?". At this, Camille jumped and jumped for joy,"Yes! Oh yes! I've been waiting for you, actually...". "Oh my, my apologies then. I was preoccupied with something else..." Minerva said with a tint of pink on her cheeks. "Okay then sweetie, why don't we go to the guild now to get you stamped? I also have a big announcement to make." Minerva chuckled. On the way to the guild, Lucy and Minerva exchanged their stories. Rufus had brought Minerva to Cypresa, one of the most beautiful islands in Fiore. People mostly went there for honeymoons because it was just so unbelievably romantic. The island's in the shape of a heart, for Christ's sake! At the guild, the enchanted guild stamp gave Camille a bright coral-red color. Camille was so happy that she finally belonged somewhere. Sabertooth, her new home. The master was out again, he was always out. Sometimes Lucy wondered why, Master Makarov was always so free, always at the guild drinking, so what was he doing? Just then, Sting and Rouge, followed by their exceeds, entered the guild.
Lucy P.O.V
I could feel my chest tightening, the anxiety building up inside my fragile heart. Should I talk to him? But it's embarrassing... Wha- What's wrong with me! What... is this feeling? My eyes followed his well-built, toned body as he made his way across the guild to the bar. He's so manly...WAIT. WHY AM I CHECKING STING OUT? He then swiftly turns around, and our eyes meet.
Sting P.O.V
When I entered the guild, I immediately searched for Lucy's smell. She was here. Right now. I walked over to the bar, acting all nonchalant to her obvious gaze. I know I like Lucy...scratch that. I'm pretty sure I'm in love her, but does she..? Ugh this romance stuff is so hard! I could feel her gaze so intently on my back, so I turned around, and our eyes met.

When their eyes met, what they saw was unreal. The guild had prepared a romantic setting for them in less than 5 minutes. "WHAT THE FU-","EHHH!?".The guild was decorated prom style, with a punch table, romantic purple lighting and they had even put slow dancing music on. Everyone was hiding under the tables, snickering and giggling. "Uh guys..? Not funny." Lucy said, as she noticed only Sting was in sight. "You guys know I can smell all of ya under the tables, right?" Sting stated, trying to sound bored and cool, but unfortunately for him, his red face made it impossible. "We aren't coming out till we see some action!" A young, sweet voice shouted, clearly Camille's. To their dismay, all Lucy and Sting did for the next 5 minutes was fidget around awkwardly while stealing quick glances at each other every once in a while. Finally, someone crawled out from the tables, stood up and demanded everyone to get up. "Aww but Lady, they didn't do anything!" A guild member said. "Well they took too long! I need to make an announcement!" Minerva snapped back. At that, everyone silenced themselves and awaited for her to speak. "Members of Sabertooth, Hisui E. Fiore, the princess of Fiore, has requested our aid for a charity event she is planning, and I have accepted on the behalf of Sabertooth." Minerva announced. "Huh? I do not ever recall Sabertooth associating with any event planned by the kingdom aside from the GMG." Rufus interjected. The guild started buzzing. "Yes, yes... Previously we have always turned down such invitations. However, this event is special. Because it is our chance to prove that we are better than those...fairies." Minerva elaborated. Once this was heard, the whole guild started getting excited. "Finally! A rematch! But... Wait. How are we gonna fight against Fairy Tail in a charity event..?" Sting exclaimed. His puzzled look made the staring Lucy giggle. "How cute." Suddenly, the whole guild went quiet.
Lucy P.O.V
What was going on? All of a sudden everyone stopped talking and turned to face me. "Um... Why are you guys staring at me...?" I asked, completely clueless. "HOW CUTE. LUCY SAID "HOW CUTE" WHILE STARING AT STING. Everyone. Cue the fangirling." Camille screamed. Everyone screamed. Some even fell dramatically onto the ground while grabbing their chests yelling out "MY FEELS". "Wh-what?! Wh-when..?" I struggled to speak. I could feel my face burning up fast. How could I have let those words slip out of my mouth! This is the WORST!
Sting P.O.V
Before I knew it, I felt hot, dizzy, and my chest felt like it was going to burst! I've... This is the first time I've felt like this. No one has ever made the great Sting Eucliffe fall crazy in love. LUCY, THE GIRL OF MY DREAMS, CALLED ME CUTE!? Holy crap, I have the sudden urge to start dancing with Lector.

"Okay, okay! Enough fangirling! My lord, you are all grown men and woman. What would my father say if he saw this?!" Minerva declared. "Says the one who was squealing and hugging me so tight that I couldn't breathe...just a few seconds ago, If I recall." Rufus said with a smirk. At this, Minerva blushed, and the guild teased them with a lil' "ooo-ing". The whole guild practically knew they were "secretly" together. I mean, come on. With all the endless flirting, who couldn't have guessed? Even Frosch could tell that something was going on. Minerva cleared her throat and continued, " Ahem, IF I may continue, the charity event's aim is to raise funds to build a school for the young mages. Princess Hisui is trying to create a system where children can learn and graduate before they choose a guild. How we're going to help raise the money, is the fun part. We are going to have to battle with Fairy Tail." The whole guild was raring to go when they heard her last sentence. "Hold up, I'm not finished yet! For the first activity, it will be a duel. I have been tasked to choose 10 people who will participate. The second fundraising activity will be a couple pageant. 2 couples will be chosen for this competition. And lastly, there will be a bake-off. A team of 5 members will be tasked with baking confectionaries for the people, who will then taste and vote for the better team. For the duel, the people will bet on who will win, and if we win against the fairies, the kingdom will double the amount that was bet. For the beauty pageant, the winner will win 500,000 jewels, and the people will also bet on their champion, and of course, the money used to bet will go to the charity. We will nominate the participants on the day itself. The event is in 3 days, so I expect everyone to be prepared. Listen up, Tigers. I want to have a landslide victory. That way, we can show Fiore that SABERTOOTH. IS. THE. NO.1. " Minerva finished. And the guild cheered.
Lucy P.O.V
I was excited to fight, but at the same time scared shitless. I'll be meeting Fairy Tail, huh. I should be happy, being able to see all my dear friends again. But, what if... Once I see them, I'll jump at the chance to join them again? I like Sabertooth, and... I like Sting. Are my feelings for Natsu really gone? I was far too concerned about Fairy Tail to think about the pageant. I know for sure that the couples would be Sting and I and Rufus and Minerva. I'm kinda happy about it... But still. Fairy Tail and Natsu, Fairy Tail and Natsu, that's all I can think about.
Sting P.O.V
Man! 3 days, and I'll get to fight with Natsu-san again! Heh heh, this time I'll be stronger. Sabertooth isn't the same as before, we now have feelings that we want to protect and fight for. As for the pageant, I'm sure the guild would choose Lucy & I and Minerva & Rufus to represent the guild. Hmm, Lucy standing next to me while in a hot bikini... That would be nice. I could feel my cheeks burn while imagining how sexy Lucy would look in a bikini. I turned my gaze toward Lucy again, and studied her facial reactions. They went from determined and pumped, to deep in thought and uncertainty. I liked doing this, watching her react. Call it stalkerish, but I call it love... Well I guess I couldn't get any creepier than that.

For the next 3 days, Fairy Tail and Sabertooth were training like crazy. Both eager to beat the hell outta each other. Little did they know, a dark cloud would be coming to rain on their parades...

UGH, hi I know this chapter was simply HORRIBLE, and SHORT, and not to mention, terribly, terribly, lacking in the area of a proper romance between my little Sticy couple :'( sigh it's so hard I got that writers block (?) and I just don't know what I should write :(:(:(
And I know I gotta update more frequently and all but the thing about me is that I can never commit to something, but I'm trying real hard. I'm surprised I'm still writing this Sticy fic actually.
