Time Skips, Pain Remains

A serial killer on the loose driven by pain. A detective on the loose driven by grief. 18. AUTHOR'S NOTE

Hey guys...…..(cringing all the whole way as I'm typing this)…..deeply sorry for not updating as per schedule. No excuses, I'm terrible at lying anyway. Just plain simple truth and that is that I had 3 assignments due this week and two tests. One, which I'm doing right now (I've taken a short break of five minutes to write this) and one tomorrow. Since the assignments are group projects I can't simply do my work and leave it be as we have to collaborate on the entire FUCKING thing. Anyway, that's the only reason why I haven't been able to type. You see, I was ahead of my schedule in the sense that a few weeks back I was very close to the end of the story. In fact the only thing left to write was 2 chapters and an epilogue. But, I scraped all of that (more than 50,000 words) because of one small thing, but to change that one small thing I had to re-write everything for that small thing changed the story completely.

This story is very close to my heart and I didn't want to compromise it because I was too lazy to re-do the latter half of the story. So, that's it, now I don't have the advantage of already finished chapters as I'm writing it in "real time".

I feel terribly bad but I hope you guys understand.

P.S. To make up for it, I will answer one question per person who wishes to know something about the story, without spoiling it of course.
