Slowly I take a deep breath before swallowing the dark blue serum.
"You wont even know your in a simulation." The abnegation volunteer said, "You will just make choices that help the system determine your faction."
Just as my eyes start to close I hear the abnegation woman say, "Just chose the choice you want to, not the choice your faction would make." and then all I see is darkness.
When my eyes open again I am in the dauntless compound. Hanging above the chasm is a young girl in abnegation clothing. Before my mind can even register what I am doing I am rushing to the girl and pulling her back over the railing. As the girl fades away I start to wonder why there was an abnegation girl in the dauntless compound.
Then I am holding a gun, I'm not sure why I have a gun. I know how to shoot one but why am I holding one. Then there is a voice.
" DO IT" The voice screams. Then the abnegation girl is in front of me again. "Do it," the voice says again this time its a whisper,
"No" I reply then I turn on my heels and shoot at where the voice was coming from.
I emerge from the simulation sweating. The abnegation woman smiles.
"WHAT?" I yell! Why is she just staring at me? Did I do something wrong in my test?
"Emelia," She said her voice calm, "Did you make the choices that you wanted to make?"
Why would she be asking that? Who did she think would be making my decisions? All I don is nod. Then she gives me a smile.
"Okay then" she says then her face shows a slight hint of a smile, "Your faction is abnegation."
I feel my blood run cold. Then without thinking, I lunge at her.
