A/N: i dont know if many people are enjoying this but im still gonna try to at least complete this story. well ive updated a lot sooner than last time. Im am currently working on another story but that will not get posted till I have a few more chapters set up, it's about 'Supernatural', and i know ive kinda stopped my "finding Zack" story but ive had no motivation for it at the moment of time.

Chapter 3: New and Old Friends

September 2nd - First day back to school

Tomoyo's Place

"I'm leaving for school now!" Tomoyo yelled to her maid as she was walking out the front door. Tomoyo was really looking forward to going back to school, the summer holidays had been rather boring when she wasn't spending spend with her friends. She was thinking whether she should have gone to Paris with her mother at the start of the holidays. Oh well, there's always next time.

She was so lost in her thoughts that before she knew it she was at the gates of Seijou High School. Being in her first year at high school was certainly different from elementary and middle school but in a good way, there were so many things and subjects she can now take to help her to achieve her dream job: Owning and creating her very own clothing business. It may take a while but no dream is impossible.

"Ohayoo Tomoyo-chan!" Yelled Sakura, which shocked her out of her daydream.

"Ohayoo gozaimasu Sakura-chan" Tomoyo greeted back as she was sitting down in her assigned seat. The seating arrangement was almost the same as their elementary setting, only the tables were pushed into pairs. Sakura and Syaoran were sitting together, with Tomoyo sitting by herself next to them. Her table mate had moved overseas during the holidays.

"So are you looking forward to your birthday tomorrow?" Sakura asked from her seat.

"I dont know, havent really thought about it."

"Tomoyo-chan, you're turning sixteen, thats one of the crucial life changing ages." Sakura exclaim.

"I know, but there not really alot I can do on a school day, if I wanted to do anything it will have to be in the weekend" Just then Syaoran walked into the classroom and gave Sakura a quick peek on her cheek, when he was sure that noone was looking. They were both kind of shy showing affection in front of other people, and no Tomoyo doesn't count. She thought it was kinda sweet.

"Syaoran-kun, Ohayoo" Tomoyo greets with a smile at the blush that appears on both of their faces.

"Ohayoo Sakura, Tomoyo-chan"

Before any more words could be exchanged, their teacher arrived to take the role and early announcements.

"Please take you seats, homeroom is starting. I hope everyone had a good holiday and that you are all ready for a new semester. Now before I take the role, we have two exchange students starting. Come on in"

The two new student walked in and everyone was surprised by the first person, as most of the class knew him even though he looked so different, but he seem to lost in his own thoughts, trying to not focus on the quiet boy next to him. He seem familiar, but ive never seen him before. The other boy was looking around the room curiously with his blue/grey eyes and messy styled dark blonde hair.

"I'm sure quite sure most of you will recognise Hiiragizawa Eriol, and here we have Noel Raines, who has just move here from New Zealand. Now boys would you like to say a few things about yourself?" Both boys said no. "Okay now to place to somewhere, Noel you can take the spare seat next to Daidouji-san and Hiiragizawa can take the empty place behind Kinomoto-san"

As both boys went to their seats, the class started talking bout the two, and some were whispering to each other about the blue-eye boy. As Noel sat down next to Tomoyo, he gave a polite hello, before looking down at his desk.

Lunch Break

It was a nice sunny day, so Sakura and friends decided to have their lunch outside, they were sitting in a circle on a blanket that Tomoyo had brought. They were in the middle of listening to what their other friends did during their holidays when Sakura spotted a lone figure sitting all by himself by the water fountain.

"Should we go talk to him" Sakura asked as everyone followed her line of vision.

"It must be hard coming to a new country and not knowing anyone" Tomoyo said, getting up and holding a hand out to help Sakura up. "Lets go say hello" and with that the two girls walked off leaving the others behind.

Eriol, and Syaoran watched the girls interact with the new guy, Syaoran then turn towards Eriol with a questioning stare.

"What are you thinking about? I know that look in your eyes"

Eriol shot a quick look out the corner of his eyes, before turning back to watch the scene.

"I don't know, there is differently something about him. I just can't figure out what." Just then the two girls started heading back with Noel following behind shyly.

"Hay everyone, we hope you don't mind but we asked if Noel wanted to come sit with us." Sakura asked as she neared. A chorus of 'sure', 'that's fine' came from the group.

"Arigatoo" Noel uttered quietly.

"Here, come sit next to me, and I'll introduce you to everyone." Tomoyo said as she patted the spot next to her.

"Okay, so you know who we are" she said as she pointed between Sakura and herself. " Next to Sakura is Li Syaoran, they're dating." At this they both went to grab each other's hands. "Next to Syaoran is Hiiragizawa Eriol, who you met before." Eriol bowed his head in acknowledgement. "Then we have Mihara Chiharu and Yamazaki Takashi, they are also together." Chiharu gave a cheery smile then had to quickly stop Yamazaki from going into a random 'story mode'.

"And finally we have Yanagisawa Naoko and Sasaki Rita." Tomoyo concluded.

"It's very nice to meet you all." Noel replied.

After a few minutes everyone started asking him questions, starting with Naoko asking about his home country.

"So what's New Zealand like, I've haven't had the chance to go yet"

"Ah, it's...depending on where you are,very green, we have this logo '100% pure' or something like that, our government is trying to keep NZ clean."

"Where were you living there" Chiharu asked next.

"We moved around a little, I was in a place in Christchurch, which is in the South Island on the east coast, and it was known as the 'Garden City'. but mother and I moved after the February earthquake that hit..."

"Oh I heard about that, it was on the world news, heard a number of people died, it was very sad." Interrupted Rita quietly but loud enough to be heard.

"Yeah it was a hecked time. I remember half the city had no power for ages and that most of the east side the city was hit really bad. So we moved up to Nelson which is at the top of the South Island. Nelson was a nice place to live, it hardly rained, It is pretty sheltered with hills on both sides of the region." Noel finished not knowing how much to talk about.

Somewhere in the City

Standing in the middle of a small shopping centre was a young girl with dark chocolate hair neatly curled waving in the slight wind with her eyes closed. People walking past were staring at the young girl, some even keep looking over their shoulders at her.

He's here somewhere, but where is he. She made her mind spread out to search but could find nothing. While mind-searching she did find someone she had not felt in a long time. So he's here as-well wonder why he's come all this way, knowing him it may be cause of me, might have to stay away from him for now, or i could play some games with him and his little group.

Plan set in place, her eyes snap open shining a bright stormy blue.
