So I have a guest reviewer which is very, um, enthusiastic. But it's a good thing, makes me remember that people actually like what I write and like my story. And I can see the impatience, I really can. I don't know what makes me most happy, seeing an email with a new chapter of one of the stories I follow or a new review from you guys.
But let's see what the day after has in store for our girls.
Like always, skins isn't my creation.
Chapter 19: You amaze me
Naomi PoV
I coughed as something tickled the airway in my mouth. I realized as I opened my eyes that I'd breathed in some of Emily's hair. I coughed some more and spitted it out. I felt Emily silently laugh in my arms, so I knew I woke her up. I noticed the room was very light, and it probably was late morning. The storm from last night was no more, and I could hear bird song from somewhere outside.
"I hope that's not your reaction to waking up to me."
She turned around in my arms, facing me. She said it with a playful voice, but I could see the conflicting emotions in her eyes. Was she really afraid I would do the same as last time? Like hell I would.
"Well, you do stench." I smirked at her. She feigned an offended gasp.
"You didn't complain last night." she shot back with a smirk of her own.
I smiled. How could I not? I had the most beautiful girl in my arms, after the most amazing night.
"Come here." I whispered.
I couldn't stop myself and lent in for a sweet good morning kiss, to reassure her that I was still here, but most because I could. But then it seemed that neither of us could get enough of the other, so the kiss deepened and went on and on. My hand drifted into her hair, tugging gently, as she slowly guided herself to lay half on top of me, kissing me devotedly. It felt like heaven, knowing that last night happened and was about rerun this second. When Emily's hand slowly started to drift down my stomach, it made my heart speed up.
"Naomi! I had the greatest idea, we could- … oh dear god."
In a flash of red, Emily disappeared under the duvet as I tried to cover up my dignity. I glared hard at the intruder in the doorway.
"Mum! Have I not told you about fucking privacy?" I growled at her, beyond frustrated.
Mum's shocked face transformed into an excited smile. I stared at her like she was crazy.
"Oh Naomi, this is the reason of your heartbreak last night?" she asked, as her eyes darted to the lump in the sheets where Emily was curled up under them. I felt my cheeks heat up. Emily didn't need to know fucking everything.
"Fuck off!" I barked at her, my temper wearing thin as I clutched the duvet I was holding to my chest. It was bad enough getting caught redhanded by your own mother, but having her stay and embarrass you further was just plain pain.
"Don't be so rash, love." she said to me, before adding "Hi Emily."
"Hi Gina." came the muffled reply from the girl who had buried her face in my side. I could just imagine how red her cheeks were right now.
"So, as I was trying to say before, I have a great idea." she continued, her face lighting up furthermore, if that's even possible. I raised my eyebrows at her, trying to indicate that what she really should be doing right this moment, was leaving us the hell alone. I sighed as she didn't take the bait, but started telling us about her 'great idea'.
"I was thinking that we could celebrate our first day of freedom with a day on the dock in the sun. Kieran thinks it's a wonderful idea, and we could invite Anne and Grant too. He said he would fire up the grill later on, and I've already started making a big breakfast, or maybe it's a brunch since it's late. I thought there was a reason for you sleeping in so late, as you're usually quite the morning bird. Oh, and maybe Anne brings that tasty lemonade of hers? And I bought a new quiz-book at the store yesterday. Then we could test each others knowledge. As you know I love quizzes! I was just coming to ask you to join us. And Emily too, of course."
"No, mum, get out!" I responded with. I saw hurt flash in her eyes at my words, and I felt a tinge of guilt. Then some teeth came in contact with my skin under the sheets.
"Ouch!" I complained at Emily who'd bit me, but not hard mind you. Then I realized she'd done it because I was being rude. Again.
"Sorry mum, we'll be out in a bit yeah?" I tried again, more gently this time. Her eyes lit up again, as she nodded gratefully at me.
"Okay, love." she turned to leave with Tiger walking out behind her and added "Have fun girls!" before she closed the door. I breathed a sigh of relief.
Emily emerged from under the duvet with big, wild eyes. I almost laughed at her expression.
"Oh my god!" She exclaimed. She laid facing me as I had sunk back into the pillows.
"Yeah, she really knows her timing. I'm betting she did it on purpose." I comically widened my eyes. "That cow." I added with a smirk.
"I've never been caught before." she started, "Fuck, fuck. That was so embarrassing! Do you think she hates me? For gaying her daughter up? What if she tells my mum? Bloody hell, I'd better find another place to stay if she finds out. I-" she ranted herself into a frenzy. I cut her off with a firm kiss, laughing a bit when I drew back to witness her eyes and mouth wide open. She calmed down a notch and seemed to gather herself, looking between my eyes.
"How are you so calm about it? She's your mum." she asked carefully.
"Because you're here." I grabbed around her neck and kissed her forehead, before leaning in to kiss her lips softly. I stayed close, and then whispered. "You're here. Even though I told what a head case I was last night, even though my irritating mother just walked in on us, you're still here." Plus I've catched her in more compromising positions than this I thought.
Emily smiled. She was really beautiful, the light in the room making her red hair glow. Her eyes twinkled in a way that made it hard to breathe.
"Where else would I be?" she whispered back, bumping her nose with mine. Just the presence of her made my inside scream of joy. She's making me want to smile all the time, which is a pretty new thing if you ask me. I wasn't complaining though, it was far better having her close in my arms than not talking to her. Far better.
I finally leaned in after we'd just laid with our faces close for a minute, feeling the blessing of just being together. I kissed her passionately and meaningful, trying to convey all she made me feel just with a flick of her hair. As we'd lost ourselves in each other for a while, lovingly stroking the others soft skin, I pulled back feeling awestruck.
"We need a shower." I declared. She raised one eyebrow.
"We do?"
"Yes," I got up and started dragging her to my bathroom. "Like I said. You stench."
After the most ineffective shower I've ever had, we finally emerged from my bedroom. Emily was wearing some clothes of mine, since her clothes were still damp and too warm for the nice weather outside. I'd lend her a small t-shirt of mine, along with some shorts I thought about throwing out as they'd started to get a little tight around my hips. As we made our way to the dock, I took notice of how the sun had dried up almost everything after last night. It was a new day, and it smelled like a fresh start.
Just before we rounded the last corner, I felt her grab my hand and hold me back.
"What is it?" I asked, looking into her chocolate brown eyes.
"Are you sure it's alright? Me joining?" she said, somewhat unsure of herself.
"'Course, why wouldn't it be?" I smiled reassuringly.
"I mean, she just found me in bed with you. Isn't she mad that I'm a girl or anything?" she grimaced. I understood what she was thinking. Her mother was so judgmental, that she had grown cautious with everyone else too. I took her by the hips and walked until her back hit the wall of the fish cabin. I looked deep into her eyes as I tried to telepathically transport every reassuring thought in my head to hers.
"She don't care about that stuff, I'm guessing she's just shocked she found someone in my bed at all. I'm not, like, known for bringing people home." I smirked.
"And I just intruded on you last night. Shit, sorry." she bit her lip.
"Emily, stop it! I wanted you there. Last night was amazing, and this morning was amazing. Let's just relax by the sea for some time yeah?" but then a thought hit me, as I scrunched my eyebrows together. "Or do you have to go home or something?"
One side of her mouth twitched upwards as she reached out a hand to smooth out my brows.
"No I don't have to go home."
I smiled and stroked her hips with my thumbs before leaning in for a quick kiss. She hummed into it. Then I took one of her hands, and steered her towards the dock.
"Come on then."
Grant and Kieran were lazing around in each deckchair pointed towards where the sun was, both with a beer in their hand despite the early hour. Anne was sitting at the end of a bench knitting on something, and my mum was standing rearranging the food on the table. It looked delicious, she really had made a big breakfast. There were seafood and all sorts of ham and fruit and vegetables. My mouth watered of the sight, and I realized that I actually was rather hungry after what me and Emily had been up to. Mum spotted us first.
"Ah, there you are finally. I was about to burst into your bedroom again to look for you." she joked. I glanced sideways at Emily, watching her go red and duck her head. Adorable.
Grant turned and saw Emily.
"Naomi, who's your friend?" he asked, holding his hand over his eyes, shielding the sharp sunlight.
We went over to stand in front of him and the others.
"I'm Emily, nice to meet you sir." Emily said politely.
"Please call me Grant. Aren't you one of the twins?" he asked.
"Yes, I am." she smiled.
"You're not the one who arranged a catwalk show last year, are you?" Anne asked, looking up from her needlework. I almost laughed as a visual of Emily bothering to organize something like that appeared in my head.
"No, that was definitely my sister."
"Ah yes, should've known." Anne nodded.
"Wait a minute," Grant said, scratching his chin "is it you that the community group asked to make a web page for the islands?" My head snapped to Emily at this.
"It is, actually." she smiled.
"What?" I asked her in disbelief. She looked up at me, confusion in her eyes at my outburst. "When did this happen?"
"Uh, this week."
"Why didn't you tell me?" I asked, getting sullen. It was a big deal for her, especially considering that this is what she wants to do later in life.
"Well, we haven't talked too much lately." she said with a small frown. I instantly felt bad for being mad about it. I turned completely to face her.
"Hey, I'm sorry okay? I'm here now." my finger grazed down her whole arm, and I smirked when I saw goosebumps in its trails. "You have to show it to me though."
"Okay."
"Promise?"
"Promise."
And with that mum clapped her hands, signaling that it was time to eat.
"Naomi, Emily! Come sit here." she gestured at the bench nearest the cabin wall. We sat down beside each other, our thighs almost touching.
"I hope you're hungry Emily." mum said warmly.
"Starving actually. This all looks incredible, thanks Gina." Emily grinned, before starting to load up on her plate. In known style, she overfilled it with nearly every choice of food there was. I took a carrot, and nibbled on it as I mostly just studied her. Tiger jumped up on my lap, but I sat her aside and she curled up to my side. I patted her absentmindedly as I got lost in my thoughts when I sat watching Emily interact with mum and Anne.
I couldn't for the life of me understand how I could've asked her to be just friends just over a week ago, when it was so obvious that I couldn't control myself around her. She was just utterly irresistible. All the time. Even when endlessly stuffing food into her mouth. She mesmerized me, to the point where I was afraid I'd lose myself. But if I did lose myself in this, I knew that she was someone worth it.
My thoughts went back to last night, and how relieved I was when she kissed me for real. It was much better than the kiss outside the industry where I practically forced it on her, but last night it was … magical. Every touch and every kiss was a reconciling with each other - a make up for all the bad I'd done to her. I actually suspected there was no bad bone it her at all. She was just so pure. So kind. So very endearing.
Maybe it should be weird sitting here with her and my new family, but really it wasn't. I was feeling completely at ease, as long as she was with me. I had been so dumb, pushing her away. And I had no idea what to do or where we were heading. But just being with her, touching her and experiencing all things her was what I wanted to do, and what I intended to do. It was weird that she also wanted to be with me. A good weird. Well, at least her actions said so.
I looked at the curve of her mouth and the slope of her nose. Her highly marked jaw and the crinkles at the sides of her eyes. The way the sunlight reflected in her hair, and the way her eyes light up when she laughed at something mum said. My eyes followed a trail I took with my lips earlier today - from her ear and down her neck and collarbones and into my t-shirt which was a bit oversized on her. I licked my lips. How could I ever stay away from her, when she's all I wanted.
Suddenly Emily's eyes were gazing suspiciously into my own, positively catching my perving. She raised her eyebrow and smirked a bit.
"What?" she mouthed, getting self conscious under my stare that didn't change. "Do I have something in my teeth or?"
"Nah" I shrugged, then nodded towards her empty plate with my head, "Just wondering how you can eat like an elephant but be as small as a mouse." I smirked in triumph, effectively leading her away from the obvious.
She rolled her eyes as she smiled, then leaned back into the thin cushions on the bench.
"Stop with the size mocking." she complained, lightly shoving my upper arm, but staying close. I casually flung my arms over the back of the bench, touching her shoulders.
"Okay then, you can be a cat. Ey, look at this! A cat in each arm. Not a bad way to start the day." I joked. She snickered as she tactically leaned an inch into me. The warmness of her body was making my head fly. She eventually leaned over me to pet Tiger on the head.
"Don't listen to her, she's just jealous she's not as elegant and lithe as us." she said in a sugary sweet voice.
"Oh, haha." I said dryly. She turned to me, and suddenly I was very aware of our close proximity. My breath got caught in my throat as her brown eyes met mine. A flashback from earlier in the shower made my heart flutter unconsciously. My breath was shaky as she eyed me with an intense gaze. She was feeling the moment too. Then her eyes darted down to my lips as she licked her own. A warmness spread over my body, to one place in particular as she was being all sexy and tempting right in front of me. Kieran snapped us out of it before it got any further, and we'd end up embarrassing ourselves in front of everyone.
"Naomi! Have I told you about that time I was chased by a bull just by the bridge over the Gicken strait?"
Emily shifted back to her previous position, gulping audibly. I looked sideways at her, equally impacted, before answering Kieran.
"Nah, did you dance wildly in a red dress or something?" I shot back at him. He laughed heartily as Emily scooted a little closer to me, my hand still around her shoulders.
He launched in to a crazy story about him and this bull. Emily kept adding small servings of the remainder of the food onto her plate, picking and munching at them. Though I could see she was beyond full as her eyes kept dripping more and more shut, and she slouched more and more into my body. Which was totally fine with me.
The early day was spent there, with Grant telling stories from the old days and us others laughing with. It was really lovely, actually. I liked everyone around the table, I liked the light conversation and joking but most of all I liked the girl my head kept turning to. She was indeed very active in the discussions and sent me happy smiles from time to time. I wanted to lean in and kiss her more and more for each time she did that, but it wasn't very appropriate to do that in front of everyone. And I couldn't just sweep her away for a quick snog either. My desires were kept in check as my hand drifted slowly up and down her arm that wasn't against me, trying to get her as worked up as I was.
Finally my mother declared that we should try out her newly bought quiz book. Anne volunteered to be the asker, and us others to answer. It was basically the first to answer, so everyone shouted out answers here and there. A good hour into it, and Emily was crushing us, to my big surprise and amazement.
"What's the acronym of the Basque separatist movement which did a number of terrorist attacks and political murders in Spain?"
"ETA!" Emily answered just as I was about to form the words in my mouth.
"Bitch, I almost had that." I shoved her. She gave me a triumphantly smile as she turned her attention back to Anne.
"In what Shakespeare play is the setting in Denmark?" I clamped my hand over Emily's mouth when I sensed she was about to beat me to answer yet again.
"Hamlet!" I said quickly before retracting my hand.
"That's cheating!" Emily gaped at me. I only smirked at her.
"Nah, first one to answer, first one to get it right." She shook her head at me, but I could see that she was biting the insides of her cheeks not to smile.
"What's the smallest constituent and is at the bottom of the food chain in the ocean?"
"I guess we should know this…" Kieran turned to Grant. I looked into Emily's eyes as I scrunched my eyes in concentration as she did the same.
"Plankton!" Me and Emily shouted in unison a second later. Anne nodded.
"Mine!" I pointed a finger in the air as I straightened up.
"No, mine!" Emily raised her eyebrows in challenge. I sighed.
"Fine, ours." I conceded. She bit her lip as her eyes dropped to my lips again, before her eyes turned back to Anne. She settled back into my side.
"What's the name of the commander who won the battle at Austerlitz in 1805?" Anne asked.
"Napoleon!" I smirked as I finally got one before Emily.
"What disease was the first successful vaccine developed for?"
"Uuuuhhh…" Emily started, eyes widening. "The flu?" she said with a sheepish look.
"Wrong." Anne said.
"Tuberculosis." I said confidently as I looked at Emily with a smug face, thinking I was right.
"Wrong too."
Emily laughed at my face, and I pinched her side. The men held their hands up in a we don't know this, keep going way. I looked at my mum, where she was sitting tapping the table with her fingers.
"Was it smallpox?" she asked Anne.
"Yes, correct!" she said, and a big smile lighted up mums face. "What strip along the coast of the mediterranean have israel occupied since 1967?" she continued. As always, Emily was the quickest with her wit. She was actually smarter than I thought, and it was positively turning me on. Cleverness was hot.
"Gaza!"
"What sponsor is in the official name on Premier League?"
"Barclays!" Emily and Kieran said at the same time. Anne nodded as she looked between them.
"You watch soccer, Emily?" Kieran asked.
"Yeah, my dad is a fanatic. It's in my blood." she smiled.
"Ah, good with some fans around here. What did you think of this season?" Kieran leaned back in his chair, looking relaxed with his beer.
"I'm a Liverpool fan, so obviously I'm not completely satisfied with the outcome. But it was a good season despite it all."
"You take after your dad then. I'm a Liverpool fan too, so cheers to that!" Kieran answered and lifted his beer before taking a sip. Emily smiled back at him. I loved how she got along with everyone.
"Let's move on, shall we?" Anne asked. "What's the name of the first Lord of the rings movie?"
"The fellowship of the ring." Emily said without missing a beat.
"What reptile is the largest still living in the world?"
"Isn't there like a giant lizard?" I wondered out loud. Emily turned to me.
"Yeah…" she agreed, before turning back to Anne "But, I'm gonna guess saltwater crocodile, is that right?"
"Yes it is, dear." Anne nodded.
"Oh, fuck, that's right." I realized.
"What's a tepee?" Anne proceeded.
"It's a tent." I said, happy I finally got another word in.
"On which series is Jace Everetts "Bad things" the theme song?"
"True blood!" Emily said. "Easy." she smirked, getting full of herself after practically owning everyone.
"What's the name of the french movie from 2012 about the millionaire Phillippe and his life in a wheelchair?"
"Aaah, I can't remember." Emily said, laying a hand on her head as she was thinking.
"Oh I love that movie!" mum said "Untouching or something."
"Untouchable!" Emily corrected, smiling when Anne said it was right.
"Right, God I've should've known that one. Got the movie and everything." Mum said.
"You do?" Emily smiled excitedly.
"Yes, we should watch it one night. What do you say Naomi?" mums gaze turned to me. I looked sideways at Emily, and could see the eagerness she sported. I smiled at how cute she was.
"Yeah." I agreed.
A few more questions were thrown around until Grant and Kieran declared that they was tired of Emily beating them and that it was time to think about the barbecue. The sun was already hanging lower on the sky.
Mum, Kieran and Grant was busying themselves with dinner, so it was just me, Emily and Anne left at the table. She'd been chatting with Emily about her garden of all things.
"Naoms," Emily turned and said in a low voice to me "I need to use the bathroom." she bit her lip. I was about to answer when Anne did, as she'd obviously catched what Emily said.
"You can use ours. It's in the basement. Why don't you show her Naomi?" she said to me, before picking up her knitting equipment.
I lead Emily in the door to the lower floor of our neighbor house, and immediately slammed Emily up against a wall, kissing her hungrily. It had been building the whole day, and finally we had a moment to ourselves where I could delve into her warm mouth again. She was intoxicating. Addicting. Every teasing touch and look was thrown right back at her in that instant.
But after some time with blissful kissing and my hands drifting inside her t-shirt to feel her firm skin under mine, she pulled away slightly. I looked at her in puzzlement, enjoying myself too much to be okay with breaking it off already.
"As much as I very much enjoy this …" she trailed of as her hand trailed down my collarbone "I really need to pee." she said with a twitch to her mouth. Then I noticed that her feet where squeezed together, and she was doing the movements one usually do when you're about to pee yourself.
"Shit sorry!" I stepped back, suddenly a bit embarrassed with my actions. She smiled and quickly kissed the side of my mouth before disappearing into the bathroom.
When she reappeared, we had a rather steamy make out session with wandering hands and wildly beating hearts. In the end we broke it off, with disappointed looks, and went back to the dock. Kieran had the grill fired up beside it, and mum was carrying stuff from our house and out to the table. Me and Emily helped her carry the last things.
"So Emily, do you want grilled fish or ribs. Or do you want grilled corncob too?" Kieran asked, referring to me and mums choice of barbecue food.
"Ribs please. Or fish. Whatever you can spare." Emily said politely back, as we'd taken our previous seats on the bench. We weren't cuddled up together now though, we were waiting for the impending food.
"Ah, a girl of my liking." Kieran beamed. "These two only eat that rabbit food. Beats me." Kieran gestured to me and mum. I frowned at him.
The food was served, and both me and Emily ate way too much. I ended up slumped, and holding my stomach, content with the food and the day. Then my eyes caught sight of something I hadn't seen before.
"Mum, when did we get a hammock?" I said, looking towards where it was hanging between two poles just by the edge of the dock, right by the water.
"Kieran hanged it up a few days ago. Why don't you and Emily go try it out?" mum suggested. My eyes shot open at this proposition. It was exactly what I wanted, an excuse to cuddle up with Emily. And let's face it, after all this food, I needed a timeout.
"Ems, come on." I took her hand, and dragged her from her seat, where she was almost falling asleep, haven eaten three times more than me. She just gave me an acknowledging look as she followed me, all dozy.
She climbed into the hammock first, making herself comfortable, before she looked out at the sea with a gentle smile on her lips. I felt myself go warm at the sight. I couldn't imagine myself growing tired of her. Ever.
"Move over, gimme some space." I ordered, as I clumsily and ungracefully managed to get into the hammock without crushing her. She laughed at my awkwardness, and guided herself so her head was on my chest. I immediately drew her in closer, engulfing her with my hands, as our naked feet tangled with each other. One of my hands found their way into her t-shirt, stroking the soft skin just above her hip. I sighed contently and moved my lips to kiss her forehead tenderly, without drawing back, just keeping us like that.
"You're very clingy today." Emily observed out of the blue. Then I drew back to look at her face.
"Oh, I'm sorry. Do you want me to go back to how I was earlier this week?" I frowned at her. She took my hand that I'd withdrawn from inside her t-shirt and intertwined our fingers, a warm smile gracing her lips.
"No" she whispered "I very much prefer this." she kissed the back of my hand, before burrowing her face in the crook of my neck. I smiled as her breath tickled my skin, making me shiver in delight. In that moment I was happy through and through.
We slipped in and out of consciousness but staying mostly in the same position. Calm. I could feel her heartbeat in my veins. I don't think I've ever felt this close to another human being before. And the soft sounds from the ocean just made the moment more magical as Emily's hand drifted to the back of my neck, gently playing with the small hair there. If I was a cat, I would be purring, that's how much I enjoyed it. So of course my mum would just go ahead and ruin the mood that had set over us.
"Yoo hoo! Girls! We have ice cream and berries for dessert!" she shouted from behind us. I groaned involuntary. Emily's eyes shot open at the mention of more food.
"Oh my god, don't tell me you have room for even more?" I stared at her with doubting eyes.
"It's berries, Naomi. I love them. I always have room for berries." she said seriously. I sighed, reluctant to give up this peaceful state of us, but not having any willpower to hold Emily back from what she wanted.
"Fine then, berries it is." I said as we shuffled back to the others.
Emily managed to get down to bowls before giving in to being satisfied. She cuddled into my side, and laughed as Gina told her a story about when a teacher called home to let her know that I'd stood up on my chair in the middle of class and shouted about the faults in the british government. I was so embarrassed i mostly had my head buried in one of my hands through the story, as the other was safely secured around Emily. Sweet Emily. That I planned to get back at for laughing about my early protesting.
Kieran and Grant had been out pulling up some traps from the sea to get crabs and such, and got back as the sun went behind the hill. We ran down to see the catch. They'd got quite a lot of crabs, and even a lobster, that we had to hide as it was illegal to fish at this time of year.
"It's going to be an amazing sunset." Kieran declared as he stepped on land. "It always is after such a thunderstorm that was last night."
"Shame we won't get to see it from here though." mum said sullen.
"Ah, we could take a walk to a hill facing west. Then we'll see it."
"Great idea!" Mum exclaimed, clapping her hands together. "You girls could take the rowboat out, make it a romantic evening." She said to us.
"Why would we do that when we have a motorboat? Rowing would just make things harder." I complained. Also I was embarrassed by mum using the word romantic, as I thought it was maybe a bit early to throw sayings like that around. Plus I was fucking tired of her sticking her nose in everything about me and Emily all day. I saw mums eyes dart to Emily, so I turned to look at her. She stared at me with a pleading look.
"Could we do that? Take the rowboat?" She asked. Her eyes were so brown and imploring, that they made me instantly lose every opposing word. I said I would make things up to her, so of course I'd do that for her.
"Okay." I said softly. "But just as you know, I've never rowed before." I said, biting my lip in nervousness.
"No problem," she beamed, "I'll teach you!"
"Fine, but we need some clothes so we don't die of the cold ocean breeze." I said, knowing well how cold it could get in an open boat. I took her hand whilst we walked to my bedroom, finding it was as natural as it could get. My hand fitted perfectly in hers, it seemed.
I rummaged through my closet, pulling out two cozy, oversized pullovers, throwing one of them at Emily. She grabbed it just before it hit her in the face, and dragged it down over her head. I just stood watching, a new and exciting feeling filling my body suddenly. This was Emily, walking around in my clothes, lounging around with me all day and holding my hand. Seeing her in the clothes that I used for myself like it was the most normal thing ever, made me wonder if it always was meant to be like this.
"I like you in my clothes." I said, smiling at her.
"I like you without clothes." She shot back, a playful glint in her eyes. I bit my lip as I felt that familiar twitch down under. I stepped closer so I could whisper in her ear.
"We can sort that out later." She shivered a bit at my words. I gave her a tender open mouth kiss just below her ear, before stepping back grinning seductively.
"But first, we have a sunset to catch." I said, despite the lust I saw had appeared in Emily's eyes. Then I simply skipped out of the room.
"You're such a tease." She complained.
"Maybe, but the sunset was your idea."
When we got down on the floating dock she jumped into the row boat and untied the mooring, like she had done it every day of her life. Then she took the oars and maneuvered us out into more open sea. I sat in the back, watching as she was facing away from where she was rowing towards. When she was satisfied with how far out we'd gotten, she patted the seat next to her for me. I reluctantly got up and sat down beside her, taking one of the oars.
"Try to follow my rhythm." she ordered, her husky voice doing crazy things to my stomach.
I tried, I really tried. But we'd probably gotten outside the west part of the island much quicker with just her rowing. But it was fun nevertheless, giving her plenty of opportunities to mock me, which she accepted and used heavily, and just being with her and doing something new. She was hilarious as she helped me catch up on what had happened in her life since that fateful wednesday. We had a good laugh over Katie wanting to chop my head off, and I could see the tension I'd cause in her small body slowly roll off in waves. I knew things couldn't be fixed in a day, but I was just so utterly thankful that we'd gotten this far. And maybe it'll be better after the things I plan to do to her later. I smirked as the thought hit me.
Finally we got past some rocks and could see the sunset in the distance. Kieran was right, it was utterly beautiful, even more so than the one at the beach. We rowed further out as the sea was mostly still, just a few small waves rolling by. We retracted the oars into the boat to just lay there and drift for a bit. Emily faced away from me on the bench we were sitting on to face the sunset, one of her legs swinging over so she was sitting cross over. I did the same. I took the opportunity to snake my hands around her waist and meld my front with her back, resting my head on her shoulder. Her hands came up to cover mine.
We were quiet for a bit, letting the sensations of touch and sight take over. And smell, at least for me. I think one of my new favorite things in the world was to bury my face in her hair, because it smelled amazing.
"Ems?"
"Hmm?" she murmured.
"Did you mean it?"
"What?" she asked, turning slightly to see my face.
"At the beach, what you said that about the view." I whispered. She smiled, seemingly remembering back.
"'Course I did, I don't have a habit saying things I don't mean, you know." she said teasingly. I smiled and gave her a small kiss on the lips before we settled back to watch the beautiful sunset.
"I know which view is most breathtaking you know." I turned my mouth to the side of her head.
"Yeah?"
"Yeah. Not even ten of you could measure up to that sunset." I gestured out to the distance. She squealed as I squeezed my arms tighter around her so she didn't have an escape. She giggled as I pinched her in the sides, but stayed idle in my arms, leaning back into me. After a while when the sun had almost set, I kissed her cheek before saying.
"You know it's you, right?"
"I know." She smiled, stroking my hands with hers.
She turned, her feet switching places, so she was facing me. My arms fell to her hips and her hands went up to pull my face into a deep kiss. When she leaned back, her thumb caressed my lips where there were traces after hers. The softness in her eyes filled me up to the brim with happiness.
"I wish every night was like this." she sighed, and my heart probably melted there and then.
I tried to show my agreement in soft kisses and trailing my hands lovingly up and down her skin under hers, or mine, sweater. Her fingers tangled in my locks and tugged me impossibly closer as her thighs settled over mine. Our embrace heated up as the last strays of sunlight showed from the horizon.
"Hey Naoms," she said in one of our breaks to fill up oxygen "have you ever had sex on a boat?" she smirked charmingly, going back to her adventurous self. I got flashbacks to her skinny-dipping request, and almost laughed at how Emily-like this was.
"No I haven't" I trailed my fingers up her spine as my eyes looked into her almost black ones, "but I have a feeling that's going to change." I swiftly moved both my hands down to her arse, pulling her into me roughly and purposefully. I swallowed her gasp with my mouth. She giggled cutely as my hands drifted from under her arse and up her sides.
"That's going to change alright."
