So, these are just story ideas that were partly inspired by a wonderful story called Disney Storybits. Go read it, it's awesome! Anyway these bits are mostly ideas that didn't bloom into a full-blown story. There will be Faberry -duh! - as well as a little Brittana, Samcedes, Tike, and Wemma.

Glee ain't mine. Wish it was.

Chapter 5-The Sculptor

In ancient Greece, there is one sculptor of re-known that many go to when they want a sculpture that's amazing. Quinn has been sculpting since she was a teenager, and though she has been called on for being a woman in a male profession, even Theseus and Odysseus have asked her to make statues for them.

However, despite her fame and fortune and multitude of friends, she's lonely; every night she lies in a cold bed and dreams for someone to share in her life.

One day, she decides to sculpt the woman of her dreams. All day and all night she works, not even stopping to eat or drink. When she finally stops, the marble statue of a beautiful woman stands in the middle of her workshop. When her friends Brittany and Santana see it, they're astounded at how life-like it is. Quinn is very proud of her.

For a while, she finds herself chatting with the statue that she's named Rachel; she even dresses her in fine clothes. Brittany and Santana want to help their friend, so they suggest to Quinn that she ask Aphrodite for help.

So Quinn makes her way to the temple of Aphrodisias (an actual temple, by the way) and asks the goddess to help bring Rachel to life. In return, she'll make a beautiful statue for her.

Aphrodite hears the plea and is touched by the sincere emotion in it. While the sculptor makes her way back to her village, the goddess heads to Quinn's workshop and casts a spell on the statue.

Quinn makes it back, and goes to her workshop. Berating herself for making such a wish, she reaches forward to touch the marble-and starts back. Is it her imagination, or does the stone feel...soft? She touches it again, and sure enough the marble is beginning to feel pliant and warm. Slowly, the white stone becomes tanned skin, and the pale waves become brown locks of hair.

Soon, a smiling, blushing, living Rachel is standing before the dumbfounded sculptor. She then tells Quinn that because of her prayer, the Goddess of Love has granted her life. Quinn becomes ecstatic, and then the two share a passionate kiss.

That night, as her well-loved and exhausted lover sleeps in her embrace, Quinn sends a prayer of thanks to Aphrodite; she'll get to work on the statue right away.

'Take your time, I'm in no hurry.' Says a voice before she falls asleep.

In this scene, Quinn's just come back from Aphrodisias. Onwards!

The blonde opened the door to her workshop, stepping into the dusty room. She wiped her brow and gazed at the stone woman standing gracefully in the middle.

She...didn't look any different than before; as a matter of fact, she still looked the same.

Quinn finally groaned aloud. "Oh, what was I thinking?" She said, slapping a hand to her forehead. "Asking Aphrodite to turn my statute-of cold stone-into a living human being? Gods, I must be more desperate than I thought."

She looked back up at her creation, Rachel's molded smile seeming to tell her something. She stepped toward her, studying every nook and cranny she had carved into the marble.

With a resigned sigh, she said "Well, I suppose we all can't get what we pray for." She placed her hand on the cold stone shoulder-

And jumped back like she had been burned.

...what in...

'Is it...did the rock there feel...soft? I mean, I know some rocks are, but...not like that...'

Daringly, she stretched out her shaking hand and touched the stone shoulder again.

Sure enough, the marble began to feel...warm and pliant, like skin. She kept her hand on it, blood pounding in her ears and heart in her throat. 'This is...this is divine doing,' she thought, watching in amazement.

The white color of the marble began to darken to a beautiful tan, and the pale locks carved into the rock became a brown the color of turned earth.

Quinn finally fell back onto the floor as her once cold and un-moving statue stepped down from the pedestal and stretched her arms with a yawn above her head. She gaped in amazement as Rachel lowered her arms and looked down at the flabbergasted girl.

A smile appeared on Rachel's now-blushing face as she said with joy in her voice "Oh, Quinn...what took you so long?"

Indeed, Quinn, what took you so long?
