Almost done, I have a list of updates to go through!

Hana stared into the window of a sleeping Nanami. She slept peacefully, she heard from the nurse that's her wounds had healed and would be leaving tomorrow afternoon.

'Why are you so fixated on this girl?'

'Oh…You're still awake? I can at least watch out for her, I owe her that much'

'You owe her nothing Hana, why are you waiting here anyway?'

'I'm curious, maybe her father might grace us with his presence,'

Hana grabbed a kunai from her hip pouch and turned to the person next to her. "Whoa! Hana it's me…," She pulled away from him and sighed. "Don't you know it's dangerous to sneak up on unsuspecting people, Naruto?" He chuckled and sat on the branch beside her. "How did you find me?"

"Actually, I was just finishing dinner and I spotted you," He said. "Let me take a guess, more ramen?"

"Hah, say, why are you here?" She didn't answer him, she just continued to stare into the window and staring down at Nanami. "Because she's still my friend," He turned to the window she was staring into.

"Oh, it's that girl again," Naruto turned to Hana, Her dulls eyes were very beautiful and seemed to glow dimly in the moonlight. Her pale skin look vibrant and smooth. "I don't want my friends to end up hurt because of me…," She whispered. "I'll protect all of you even if it takes every part of me to do so," Naruto just watched her pink lips slowly form into a smile. "Hey! You're smiling!" He shouted. Hana quickly turned to him with a stern look. "You're so loud, it's the middle of the night,"

"Sorry, I've never seen you smile like that up close," She just eyed him and turned back to Nanami. "You're strange," Naruto looked up at her again. "Me?"

"Who else, your always getting excited over small things,"

He puffed up his cheeks. "That's because your strange," She turned to him. "Alright, if you and Sasuke are such enemies, why do you go so far as to protect him?" She asked. He blushed and cleared his throat, he waited a few seconds before answering his face still red with embarrassment. "…Because he's my friend but, isn't that that what you're doing?' Hana smiled at him once more before looking back at her friend. "It is, isn't it?"

"Yeah, you're definitely stranger than me," He sighed.

The door to Nanami's room open, a tall slender man walked inside, closing the door behind him. He slowly walked over to her bed, a sharp object glistening in the moon light that lit the room. "Pathetic girl…,"

Nanami slept peacefully, her chest rising slowly. He stood over her and watched her continue to sleep. Green eyes shining brightly in the dark hospital room. The man turned quickly to the corner. Suddenly the girl in the bed pulled the blanket back and kicked him in the face. He groaned and held his chin. "Nanami! What's the meaning of this?!"

The girl chuckled and a poof of smoke surrounded her. Naruto stood where she once was and chuckled. "Who are you?"

"The names Uzumaki Naruto!"

Hana sighed and stepped out of the dark corner. "This is still a hospital Naruto, try to keep it down before someone comes and discovers us,"

He glared at Hana. "Hana Setsumi, My, You're as beautiful as they say," She glared sharply at him. "Don't remember me?"

"I've never met you before, your tricks don't work on me…You aren't Nanami's father, who are you?"

The light in the room grew brighter and he just smiled. He had snow white hair and piercing green eyes, his skin was pale. The man looked older than her. "My times up, I'll deal with Nanami some other time than," He huffed and turned to the door. "Wait! Where do you think you're going?!" Naruto shouted and ran towards the door only to slam into it with a loud smack. He fell back and groaned loudly. "That hurt!" Hana walked over to Naruto, she kneeled down in front of him, Naruto groaned and muttered to himself under his breathe and he had his hands cupped over his nose. "Here, let me see…," She gently moved his hands to expose a red nose and a pouty mouth. She laughed and smiled. "It'll be okay, but no damage other than that, you'll be fine," He looked up at her white smile as she stood up and walked over to a small closet. Nanami was up against the wall sitting upright and still in her peaceful sleep. 'She's safe…That's good,' Naruto got up and hurried over. "Let's get her out of here," He leaned down and gently picked her up. They left the hospital quickly as they could.

As the two walked back together. Hana glanced at Nanami resting on Naruto's back. She stared at him for a few minutes' before closing her eyes. "Naruto, thank you,"

"Hm?"

"Thanks for your help today,"

"It was nothing! Anytime,"

She sighed. "It's midnight, don't we have a mission tomorrow," Naruto let out a loud noise.

The next morning, Nanami opened her eyes. She sat up only to be shocked by the room. "Where am I? This is disgusting!" The room was filled with garbage bags. "Ugh! It stinks!" She held her nose and got out of the bed, she began to hear voices in the next room. She crept over the bags and made her way to the door and cracked it open.

To her surprise, Hana stood in the middle of the room, her arms crossed and staring strangely at a blonde boy.

"Com'on Hana, just try it, It's a new combo I've been trying to test out,"

"I refuse to do so, I like my stomach very much,"

"It's not going to kill you,"

"Say's you, the amazing ninja who eats nothing but ramen," He blushed and smiled.

"You really think I'm amazing?"

Hana rolled her eyes. "That's hardly the topic at the moment,"

"Ha whatever! I'm going to be the envy of the village,"

"What's that supposed to mean?"

"I mean, think about it, a pretty girl like you staying at my house all night," Hana's eyes narrowed and she walked over to where he sat at the table. She lifted her leg and knocked him onto the floor. "No wonder Sakura is always banging you up, you really are a pervert," She leaned against the table and sighed. "The only reason I stayed at your house was because I had to look over Nanami, nothing more,"

Nanami scoffed and pushed the door open. 'Look over me? She did? Why? Who is this girl?' Nanami shook her head and stood up and opened the door. "You lowlife! As if I need you to protect me,"

Hana just looked up at her and blinked. Naruto growled and stood up. "What's your problem?! Hana risked her life to save you and all you've got to say as gratitude is that she's a lowlife,"

Nanami clenched her teeth together. "I don't need her to rescue me! I don't need to be saved,"

"Nanami, I just need you to listen, A man with sliver hair and green eyes tried to attack you in the hospital, does this sound familiar?" Nanami seemed to stiffen up at the words. "Tsk! Liar!" She charged towards the front door.

"Is it really okay for her to leave like that Hana?!"

"Yeah…I'll just stick to her for a little while," She muttered before sighing. Naruto stared hard at his friend, her face was emotionless but her eyes burned with hurt. "I'll help you then," Hana turned to him. He has that annoying smile on his face. "You?"

"Yeah! Friends help friends when they need it right?" She felt her lips form a small smile.

"Ah! Hana! Your smiling again!" He laughed loudly.

"Keep it down!"

"Well, let's go," She said. "Huh?,"

"We're supposed to meet Kakashi in about five minutes, remember?"

"What?! My ramen!"

"Bring it with you, I'm leaving you behind," She stated before hurrying out the door. Naruto frantically look at his ramen and back at Hana. "Wait up Hana!" He grabbed the cup and charged out the door. She looked back at him with a small smile.

'Friends huh?'

'Yeah, it's a nice feeling to have friends'
