Warning: this chapter is going to seem a little strange.
That's because I'm annoyed at some people. And I had characters made for them, to use in the future (because I liked them before). So now their characters are going to suffer, since I cannot do any harm to them (without being thrown in jail or anything).
I don't own Harry Potter or it's Characters (JK Rowling does). But. I own some characters in here :D
The weeks went by, rather uneventful. Classes, quidditch, food, and sleep. That was how almost all time went by when I wasn't doing homework.
We had our first flying lesson. Draco was showing off to the Potter boy and threw the remembrall that belonged to Neville. That night, when we got back to the dorm I yelled at Draco for being such a prat, to say the least, I hadn't heard from Draco since then. Apparently, it's not nice to yell at a Slytherin for being cruel to a Gryffindor.
After 2 weeks of this boring cycle, and no talking to Draco, Jaelah came up to me and closed my book. "Today Vespera, we need to do something, different."
I raised an eyebrow at her, "Different how?"
She laughed, "Evil different. We're Slytherin, and we can get away with things. Especially with Harry Potter taking up all the attention with being the "Best Seeker of the Century" and "Only first year ever to be on a team!" as if. We need to have some fun. You've been embedded in your books ever since Draco started ignoring you."
"So what's your big plan Jaelah? I'm not doing anything unless you have a real reason for it and a good way to act out your plan." I sighed and walked to my bed and put my book away, and pulled out my wand and a scroll of parchment. "Let's go to a classroom where we can think about it without being heard."
We walked to the famous empty classroom that all Slytherins knew to stay out once the door was closed, unless you wanted whoever to be inside to curse you. We sat down on the floor, and began writing. "First, I think we should do a potion. Maybe just a simple one, not too deadly, we don't want to be killers. Ideas on it?"
I nodded and pulled out the joke book Fred had made me get, "I have this, it's only simple potions. Nothing too hard at all. Maybe combining a few of them?"
Jaelah nodded, and we began digging through the book. We found three potion pranks that we thought would be useful, especially if combined together in one person.
The first, would turn your skin whatever color matched your personality. Purple for love, black for hatred, blue for calm, green for envy, red for anger, and yellow for happiness. The second, would make you think you were growing a third limb out of your stomach, but in reality, nothing would be happening to you. The third, was one that made all spells, hexes, and potions, stick to you forever, until the one who casted the spell, cast the counter spell.
"It should only take a few hours to make. The question is who are we going to use this on?" Jaelah asked, I could already see the wheels churning in her head.
"How about we make the potion, then figure out who is the worst to us today. We can decide then. "She smiled and nodded, then we grabbed the ingredients and began making potions.
As this was a Saturday, no one bothered us. Most people were outside playing quidditch or something. It took us 3 hours, then we dumped the three potions into 2 vials, one for each of our victims. "Operation Prank is a go."
I laughed at Jaelah, "Indeed it tis. Let us go forward now and cause havoc unto the Hogwarts!"
Then we walked out, and headed into the Great Hall for lunch. Jaelah and I sat on either side of Draco, "Hullo Draco." Jaelah said, poking his side.
"Such a nice day out." I told him, doubting I'd get an answer.
"What is a quidditch fan like yourself," Jaelah continued.
"Doing inside the castle all day?" I finished and smiled.
He looked between the two of us, "You've been hanging around the Weasley twins haven't you?"
We looked at him shocked. I said first, "Who, us?"
"Why would we ever?" Jaelah continued.
We again looked at each other, "Maybe just a little."
Draco shook his head, "I should ask you two what you've been brewing in the dungeon? I figured Vespera would be outside on her broom. You," he looked at Jaelah, "what is it you do again?"
She smiled, "I'm usually the one outside watching Vespera making sure she doesn't get killed while on that death contraption." She shook her head, "Honestly Draco, you should know that Vespera asks for trouble when getting on the broom."
He nodded, "Good point Jaelah. So what are you doing?"
I shook my head, "That's our little secret. You'll find out soon enough." Then, we were joined by a couple of red heads.
"I could have sworn while we were going past the dungeon entrance."
"That there was an interesting smell arising from a potion."
"Not one of Snape's. His office is too far down the way."
"Obviously must be an empty classroom."
"No other Snakes are inside except you three."
"So who's doing the brewing?" They finished together.
Draco stood up, and began walking away, "I'm done hearing all these twin things. Whatever it is you are planning, keep me out of it." He then left, I assumed to annoy Potter again.
I smiled, "Hullo Fred, Hullo George."
Jaelah continued, "No reason that we're inside, we were just doing some studying."
"As if we would ever do such a thing like brewing a potion."
"We have better things to spend our time with."
"And right now, I just happen to be inside eating food. Like normal people do."
"Same with me. Except, really twins, do you think I could ever brew a potion? I'm horrible at potions class. The only reason I don't fail is because that Longbottom Lion is worse at it than I am."
I laughed, "Jaelah here isn't allowed to touch the potions until after I've checked to make sure she won't blow it up by throwing things in."
One twin looked at me curiously, "I don't believe you two for a second."
"Devious little ones. Just don't give us a run for our pranks." The second twin replied.
"Understand Star?" Fred was the first twin. He poked my side and I jumped at it, that was where I had been injured before, and anything touching it just made me jumpy. "You okay?" He asked concerned.
Jaelah glanced at me, and realized I wasn't going to say anything. "Look, Vespera had a difficult first few days here with Samuel Levi, one of your friends I believe?" She stood up and whispered to the twins, "He threatened her with some secret of hers that he found out, and then told her that he cut her and obliviated her in the dungeon." She smiled sadly at me, "We're trying to have fun now. Right Vespera?"
I nodded, "Yeah. Potions. Fun." I then went back to playing with my food, moving it around on my plate.
"What secret?" George asked, raising an eyebrow.
"I haven't got the slightest idea," Jaelah answered.
Fred put his finger under my chin, and tilted my face up. "Hey, little Star. You're going to be okay. I'll take care of him, and then he won't remember your secret anymore. At least, he won't threaten you with it. Okay?"
I nodded, "Okay."
George then said, "Wait. You said potion. I knew you were the ones brewing!"
I glared at him, "Be louder why don't you, tell the entire school what we're doing. We aren't brewing, we're experimenting. We plan on keeping it secret too."
They shrugged and stood, Fred replied, "We'll keep the potion secret safe. Just be careful." he then messed up my hair, "Behave now Star."
I chuckled, "Yeah, why not. I'll try to." Then, the two twins left.
Jaelah poked my arm, "He likes you."
I turned to her, "Who? No. Neither twin likes me." I denied it.
She smirked, "You like him too. Don't deny it. I can tell. Obviously, the one that calls you 'Star' likes you. And he knows your secret, that you won't even tell me or Draco."
"I can and will deny it. I don't see you making any moves on Draco, you obviously like him." I stuck my tongue out, and stood up, leaving my half eaten plate of food. "Don't judge me unless you want to be judged yourself."
I then walked out of the Great Hall, without Jaelah, or anyone for that matter. Samuel ran up to me, "Hey Vespera." He smiled, as if he were trying to be nice.
"What do you want Samuel?" I asked him, almost annoyed that he came to me. Didn't he understand, I didn't want anything to do with him?
"Well, I found this picture." He handed it to me, and it was the picture I had drawn the other day of my brother. "Some kid was laughing at it, and making fun of you. I took it from him. He mentioned it was your brother, I assume the one who pretended you didn't exist. I thought you might like it back." I took the picture, and he continued talking, "I just wanted to tell you also, that I'm sorry for being such a douche the first week of school. I'm not used to being nice to any Snakes. Fred and George might have mentioned that I better watch it... I'm hoping you'll start over with knowing me?"
I folded the picture and stuck it inside of my bag. "Thank you Samuel. I can't say I'll instantly forgive you for what you did, but let's just say that I won't use any potions on you. For now. I need to go, I have a certain someone to avoid right now." I started climbing the steps, "Later Samuel!"
I then began running up the stairs as he yelled back, "Call me Sam!" I nodded and waved, then paused and turned around, "Do you know where Fred and George went?"
He nodded, "Well, one of them mentioned going up to the common area, the other said he would be there soon?"
I nodded, "Thanks Sam! Later, again." I then continued up the stairs to the Gryffindor tower, where I decided my destination would be. I needed to consult with Fred and/or George about who to use my potion on, and since the only lead was in the common room that is where I would go.
As I approached, I was welcomed by a bushy hair girl she smiled at me, "Hullo. I'm Hermione. I don't think we've met? Are you a second year? I didn't see you at the sorting." She held her hand out, and I took it to shake it.
"Nice to meet you Hermione. I'm a first year, but failed to make it to the feast. My name is Vespera." I smiled at her, and her mouth gaped open.
"Is it true that you're related to Salazar Slytherin? You're in Slytherin aren't you? Why are you up here? You aren't supposed to be near Gryffindor land, they aren't that pleasant to Slytherins." She then instantly began looking nervous being near me.
"Yes, I'm in Slytherin, I was looking for a few Gryffindor friends of mine. I know most Lions aren't pleasant towards Snakes, but it's okay as long as I have a few friends." I glanced around, and didn't see anyone, "Honestly, I don't know if I have any relation to Salazar, but if anyone asks, I do. Why do you look so nervous?"
She smiled slightly at me, her face looking worried, like she should run. "It's just that most Slytherins, if not, all Slytherins, hate muggles, and I'm a muggleborn." She then turned as if she was going to run, I put my hand on her shoulder.
"Hermione, don't run away. I promise I'm not on a killing rampage to kill all muggleborns." I smiled at her, trying to assure her I wasn't going to kill her.
"You said muggleborn. Slytherins don't use that word. They use Mud-blood. The filthy word." She smiled at me, "Maybe there are a few nice Slytherins, but not Draco, he's dreadful."
I shook my head, "Draco isn't that bad, he's just not open to new ideas. Can I trust you with a secret Hermione?" She nodded, and I leaned and whispered in her ear, "I'm muggleborn too."
I stepped back and her eyes opened wide, "But, then, how?"
I shrugged, "I'm a Salazar. Obviously I'm pureblood." I smiled at her, "It's a matter of what you want to believe." I turned, "I'll talk to you later Hermione, I need to go find people, and if they aren't here, they'll be up to something else."
I then walked away, as she said "Good bye Vespera!" I then went around the corner and stood, watching her not glance back as she opened a portrait of a fat lady and say "Caput Draconis." And the portrait opened, and she went in.
I stood still for a few minutes, waiting for Hermione to be able to get distracted, then I went to the portrait, and before the fat lady could tell who I was I said, "Caput Draconis." And she swung open her portrait. I walked in quickly, and she slammed shut. I glanced around, and realized the Gryffindor are was much warmer than Slytherin. The Gryffindor common area was much homier and welcoming too.
I walked straight back towards steps, when I realized that Fred and George weren't in the main Commons area. An arrow pointed to the right that read "BOYS." I walked that way and up the stairs, and found a door that had "III" written on it. I opened the door, and didn't see anyone in the room. This would be the perfect opportunity to do something.
I walked to a bed that had a glass of water sitting on it. I touched the cup and felt that it was still cold. It must have had a spell on it, the person wouldn't be changing the water. I took my half of the potion and poured it in. Tomorrow morning would be interesting. I then looked around and saw two bed that looked slightly crazy. As if they had several mishaps. They had to be the twins' beds. I went and crawled underneath one of them, and waited.
I woke up and looked around, realizing it was dark inside. It shouldn't be dark. It was day. I then realized, I had fallen asleep. Someone must have missed me? Or maybe not.
I heard a voice say, "What's next George?"
The other voice replied, "We see how long it takes before the spell will do anything for Vespera. She'll kill us, you know that right. If she finds out that we're planning anything on her."
The first voice answered, "I know. She'll know it was us too. We better be prepared for a comeback from her."
The door opened, and a light shown in the room, "What are you two doing?" I didn't recognize this voice.
"Go Away." The twins both shouted. The door then slammed shut.
So no one else was in the room, I could come out and it would be okay. I was about to roll out from under the bed, when one of them started talking, "Fred, I don't even understand why you're pulling this prank on her. She's never going to date you if you pull a prank on her."
I froze, why would I date him to begin with? "I know George, it's not as if she would ever do anything with me anyways. She's in Slytherin. She'd be hated by her entire house."
"So? You have breaks and summers, and she's the most non-Slytherin I've ever met. She's too nice." George paused, "What do you think Samuel did to her? I know he'll stop, but it still must have been bad if she cringed."
"I don't know." another pause. "Wait, the rumors. A Slytherin being found in the dungeon bleeding to death, her side was cut open." I could almost hear the anger in his voice, "I'm going to kill him. He's going to be dead for almost killing Star."
George laughed, "See that's what I mean you obviously like her."
I needed to get out from under the bed, but didn't know how to. I frowned then smiled, I had my bag still. I pulled out a piece of parchment and I pointed my wand at the paper and ink began showing on the paper. I then concentrated and the paper disappeared softly from in front of me.
I heard a pop above my head, and then a piece of paper opening, "It's from Star."
A brief silence occurred then he read it out loud:
"Dear Fred, I have spelled this paper so what you write on it instantly returns to a piece of paper that I possess. I need help. Signed, Star."
"I don't know what to write George!" Fred exclaimed. Then I heard a quill scratching and I pulled out another parchment that was spelled.
On the paper it read, "What needs help with Star?"
I pointed my wand to it, and Fred read out loud, "I'm stuck in an odd situation, and I don't know if I can get out."
My paper read back soon, "What's the situation?"
"Firstly, I'm stuck physically. Secondly, I don't know what to do, I like someone, and he may or may not like me. The main issue is that I will be ridiculed if I ever tell him."
Fred paused before writing and asked George, "She likes someone?"
On my paper it then appeared, "Where are you stuck, we'll come get you out, then discuss your issue."
"If I show myself at the location where I am stuck, my issue may become very awkward." Fred read out loud, "Well what the heck does that mean?"
George chuckled, "There's no telling with that one. Tell her to go ahead and write where she is and we'll pull some prank to make it non-awkward for her to escape."
Those words were exactly what appeared on my paper and the Fred read my reply back to Fred, "Okay if you say so. My location is..." Fred looked stumped, "She didn't actually put where her location is. Did someone steal her paper?" I saw feet get on the floor, and walk back and forth.
"Fred, stop pacing." The feet stopped, just where I could reach them. They were on the side opposite of the other twins' bed, so George wouldn't see my hand if I reached out.
"I can't just stop!" The feet then stayed still and on my paper it appeared, "Star? Where are you?"
I didn't answer, instead I rolled away from the feet and stuck my head out from under the bed, and George saw me, his eyes opened wide, and he began laughing, I put my finger to my lips, and he still kept laughing.
"GEORGE! This is NOT funny! How could you laugh at a time like this?" Fred began pacing again, and I rolled to that side and grabbed his foot, and he tripped because he kept trying to pace. He turned his head and looked under the bed, and his eyes grew wide and his face turned red to match his hair.
"Hullo Fred, fancy seeing you here." I rolled out from under the bed and then sat on top of it.
George asked, "How long have you been under there?" Fred sat down on George's bed, sitting next to George.
I shrugged and tapped my wand, it showing the time to be after 8. "About 6 hours. I accidentally fell asleep. I came up here to talk to you two about pranks and what not, but you weren't in here and it would be awfully hard to get out, so I just hid under the bed. Next time, I think I may just owl or something to make sure that you're in here." I then thought back to the first part of the conversation, "If you guys decide to pull the prank on me that you had planned, you will be cursed into next week got it?"
They nodded, then Fred stopped. "You've been listening haven't you?"
I smiled, and George laughed, "Look at you two, turning bright red. It's so adorable!"
I rolled my eyes at George, then brought back to their previous conversation, "You were right when you said that I was the one they found in the dungeon." I raised my shirt on the side, revealing a pink scar that looked over a year old probably, yay for magic. "It was a lot worse when it happened, but you know, it was almost a month ago." I put my shirt down and shrugged, "He claimed he would stop, but I don't know if he actually will or not." I looked at Fred, "Did you know that you talk in your sleep?"
Fred's eyes opened wide, "Oh my gosh. That's how he found out. I'm so so so sorry Star. I didn't think about that. It's all my fault you got hurt." He put his head in his hands, and looked quite worried.
George was confused, "What's wrong Fred? Why does it matter that you talk in your sleep? How does that relate to anything?"
I looked at Fred, and nodded, then spoke, "You see George, there is a problem with me. That would be the fact that I am muggleborn. Fred found out when we met during the summer. One night he was talking in his sleep and Sam heard. That was the reason he attacked me, as far as I could tell anyways."
George looked shocked, "Muggle-born? But your last name is Salazar!"
I shrugged, "Yeah? It's just a coincidence I guess. I convinced the sorting hat to put me in Slytherin, and then somehow got Snape to not hate me for it."
Someone knocked on the door, and I looked at the twins, with a semi-scared semi-what-should-I-do look. Fred yelled, "If you enter you'll be the reason for our next prank." Then I heard footsteps walking away, and let out a sigh of relief.
"Next problem, I need to get out of here without being seen by the others. A lot of them know of me, and know I'm a Slytherin." The two twins looked at each other and grinned.
"We never said," George started.
"That we were finished with you Star." Fred finished.
George continued, "You got un-stuck, Now to deal with your issue. You like someone, or so we hear."
I nodded, "Indeed I just might."
Fred continued, "Wasn't it in our deal that if you were un-stuck we would help you with this problem?"
I nodded, "Indeed you did."
George was next, "So tell us Miss Vespera,"
"Who this mystery guy is." Fred finished and raised his eyebrow.
"If you really have to ask that one, then you're clueless. Even Jaelah can tell." I chuckled, as Fred began to smile the sweetest smile ever.
"Fred, I think we have our solution to getting her out of here."
Fred nodded, "Indeed we do." He looked at me, "This may be strange for you. Too bad."
George walked out of the room, and Fred walked over to the bed and sat next to me, "So you do like me?"
I smiled and nodded, "Kinda, yeah."
Fred grinned, "Lay down on the bed." I raised my eyebrows, but did as he said. "I hope you're okay with going public about that."
"Why do you say that?" Then it hit me, "You're going to announce it to the entire Gryffindor house aren't you?"
He nodded, "That is correct!" He then laid next to me, and we waited. When the door knob turned he pulled me on top of him, and I could only laugh at how awkward this was going to be for whoever walked in.
Unfortunately for us, or maybe luckily for us, a combination of the two, it was Percy. "Fred! Vespera! What in the world are you two doing?" He then took a double check, "Vespera! Why are you even in here! You're in Slytherin and should not have been allowed into Gryffindor. Fred! You aren't supposed to give out the password, or let Slytherins in here! Now Vespera, you are coming with me. I'm not going to take points away from you, but this is the last time I will ever catch you in here. Understand?" I nodded, and rolled off of Fred.
"We actually weren't doing anything. I was planning a prank with them, and there was no way to be able to get out of Gryffindor tower without some sort of reason. Just so you know." I turned and waved at Fred, "So long Fred." Then Percy grabbed my wrist, before pausing.
He spelled my clothes into Gryffindor colors, and then held out his hand to Fred. Fred handed him some sort of red potion, which Percy opened, and dumped on my head before I could do anything.
"Percy! Fred! What did you just do to my hair?" I looked in a mirror. My hair was turned the same color as the Weasley's hair. I pouted, "You ruined my hair."
Percy shrugged and then pushed me towards Fred. "She's your cousin. Get her out of the Gryffindor land before someone questions it." He then turned and walked out the room, and Fred and I walked out of the dorm, no one paying a bit of mind to us. Once we had reached outside the Gryffindor common area, and were back in the hall, the Gryffindor colors turned back to my previous outfit of choice. My hair however, did not change back.
"It'll stay like that for a week or so. Have fun." Fred then messed up my hair, "Do you need an escort to the dungeon?"
I shook my head, "No, not yet. I'm going to try to get some food from the Great Hall first. I didn't eat much lunch, and I may have missed dinner."
He nodded, and then George came out the portrait, "I heard the mention of food." He then grabbed my hand and started running, dragging me along, and Fred following him. When we were approaching the Hufflepuff section of the castle, they stopped and tickled a pear, and the door opened.
Fred spoke up, "Miss Salazar would like what we had for dinner. George and I would like a desert. Please." The house elf that had looked at us nodded, then popped away. We sat down at a table, and I sat between the twins.
It was overall a quiet dinner, nothing but small talk occurred, after an hour of sitting and eating, we stood. "It was a pleasure to eat with you two. I hope to see you again in the future." I walked out from the portrait, "Goodbye Fred. Goodbye George." I waved at them, as they came out from the portrait.
"Goodbye Star!" Fred said while George was saying "Goodbye Vespera!" They then walked up the stairs, as I walked down to the dungeon.
When I entered the Slytherin commons room, Jaelah and Draco attacked me, then dragged me into a corner, "Where were you for the past 6 hours? We were about to go and tell Snape that you were missing!" Draco was panicking.
Meanwhile, Jaelah just stared at my hair, "Vespera... What happened to your hair?" She seemed more concerned about that than me being missing.
I laughed, "I was in the Gryffindor common area, to pull our prank on some poor Gryffindor, and I got trapped in there. The twins then found me, poured something onto my hair and aided my escape. Then I ate dinner in the kitchens, and came back. Nothing much happened."
Jaelah looked at me and smiled, "The twins helped you escape?"
I nodded, "Yeah. Nothing is happening there either. Yet."
She laughed at me, "Nice one. I used my potion on some Hufflepuff. Tomorrow at breakfast will be interesting." I nodded.
We soon went into our separate dorm spaces, and went to sleep, many people questioning why I had red hair.
The next morning, we all awoke and were about to go to breakfast when Snape came walking into the common area, not something he did often. "You will all follow me." His same monotone voice, he then walked down the dungeon, and opened a classroom, that had 7 rows, the rows getting smaller the further back they went. The seventh years in the front sat in the back, and we all filed in, the first years ending in the first row. Snape stood in the front of the room, "There have been two deaths this morning, both relating to a potion. It is believed that both died from the same potion. It is unsure who may have brewed these potions, as it seems to be a very simple potion. The cause of death was because 3 very simple potions were combined into 1 potion. The combination of potions may seem amusing, however it was fatal to a Gryffindor and Hufflepuff. Since it will be impossible to trace the potion, every student must go through a test to see if they were the ones who were guilty."
He waved his wand, and all of us turned Green. "Each of you will take this quill and sign your name to the parchment. When signing it, you will turn silver if you are innocent of this act. The spell on this parchment makes it that you will stay green if you did indeed brew the potion that killed the two students. You are attesting to the following statement when truthful signing your name to the paper, "I did not kill the Gryffindor and Hufflepuff student by using a potion." Seventh years begin. Once you have signed the paper, if you turn silver you may leave."
Slowly everyone began signing the paper, Jaelah and I looking at each other, hoping that we wouldn't be caught. I didn't want to be kicked out of Hogwarts, it went back to the whole having no place to live. As the room slowly began to empty, it was finally the first years' turns. Draco signed the paper in front of me, and he left shining Silver. He turned regular color again once he left the room. I took the quill Snape was holding and signed, "Vespera Salazar." My name glowed, then I stepped back and looked at Jaelah, I glanced down and saw that I was silver, and was relieved. I wasn't going to be kicked out. Jaelah signed her name, "Jaelah Phantomhive." She turned silver, and we both walked out of the room, our silver fading and we went up the stairs, to the main floor for breakfast.
"We're safe." I said to her, and she nodded. Draco was already sitting with Crabbe and Goyle, and personally those two made me uncomfortable. "I'm going to go sit with the twins. I'm not going to deal with Draco, Crabbe, and Goyle." She nodded, and we split our ways. I walked to the Gryffindor table, and she went and sat next to Draco. The twins didn't see me coming, so I pulled out my wand and pointed it to their hair and concentrated. Their hair turned the color of my original hair, blond. I smiled and sat between them, "Hullo Fred, Hullo George. I like what you've done to your hair." I then picked up an apple and bit into it, grinning.
They looked at each other and grinned sadly, "We deserve that." A twin said, while the other nodded.
"What was his name?" I looked at them smiling sadly, I knew it was their dorm mate.
"Tyler Newton. A decent guy." The other twin replied.
The first twin nodded, "A lot of our house thinks it was our fault."
"We're the only potion brewers in our house."
"After the paper signing this morning, they realized it wasn't us."
"But still it was someone. Someone killed a Gryffindor."
I nodded, "They only told you of the Gryffindor?"
The looked at me confused, "Someone else died?"
I nodded, "Slytherins got questioned for both. A Gryffindor and a Hufflepuff. No one was found guilty as far as we can tell." I sat the apple core on the table and put my elbows on the table, sitting my head in my hands, "I'm sorry that this happened. Really I am." I needed to change the subject, and soon, "So did you guys plan your Halloween trick yet? You only have 2 weeks. Jaelah and I started planning it last week."
The looked at me, "Halloween is not to be messed with."
"Especially not candy."
I shrugged, "You don't know what I may do. Just watch out."
I heard an obnoxious voice coming from behind me, talking to someone else, "I swear something's up! With the third floor!" He stopped and looked at Fred and George, "What happened to your hair?"
They turned around, "Someone gave us pay back for messing with her hair."
Ron chuckled, "Who is this brave person that decided to prank the pranksters." I turned around and waved, "That'd be me Ronald."
He looked at me, "You would be?"
I hit my hand on my forehead, "Seriously Ronald? It's me. Vespera. Your worst enemy because you tried to curse me, and you broke my arm. Remember that?"
His eyes opened wide, "Your hair is red!?"
"Yeah. Did you not hear? Your brothers dumped a potion on my head and turned it this color, and I'm stuck with it until the potion wears off." I shrugged, and Ron went away. I finished my breakfast with the twins, then stood, and one twin stood with me, the other just smirked. I smiled, then walked out of the Great Hall, and outside to the lake. It was still fairly warm outside, but it was chilly.
"So, Star." I looked up at Fred, as I was sitting down against a tree. "What are we?"
I shrugged, "I don't know. I'm only 11, and not sure if I want to really date yet. Maybe Next year, after I've gotten used to this magic thing. Don't be upset that I say that either, because you'd probably be pretty upset if your sister started dating her first year of Hogwarts." I frowned, "When does your sister start Hogwarts?"
"Ginny. She starts next year, poor lass is only a year younger than Ronald. She's good company. But I understand your point. I'll be waiting for the day that you announce you're ready to date." He took my hand and kissed it. "Until then, we'll stay friends. I assure you."
I smiled, and then Fred left.
I later overheard that the Hufflepuff's name was Trevor Chandler, no one significant.
People in Hogwarts son moved on past the deaths, and no one was questioned about it. We were let off the hook, and Vespera and I planned to never try that kind of prank again.
At least, until Halloween.
THAT'S IT. HALLOWEEN IS NEXT TIME. AND A QUIDDITCH GAME.
REVIEW.
Thanks for being patient with me :)
