The Errands
Chapter 4
Grells' modified chainsaw death scythe whirred to life, and he lunged straight at Sebastian who stood there, emotionless. Grells' chainsaw was about to penetrate his stomach and release all of the crimson blood within him, when he disappeared into thin air. Grell, confused had no idea went, but he had gained too much momentum and kept lunging forward until the chainsaw went through the wooden wall right where Sebastian had just been, cracking the wood and lodging inside the thick wall. Grell was desperately tried to remove his chainsaw from the wall to no avail, and Sebastian was still nowhere to be found.
After a minute Grell finally was able to remove his chainsaw from the wall. He turned around, chainsaw at the ready and said "Oh 'Bassie? Where are you?" Then out of nowhere with a dastardly evil voice Sebastian said "I'm here in your sorry excuse for a maze, Grell. I wonder, which one of will find the other first?" Then Sebastian allowed himself to chuckle a bit, only to scare and confuse Grell. Grell did not have the endurance nor the willpower of Sebastian and was easily frightened. His hands began to shake and his voice quivered saying "Uh, Uh 'Bassie, no one really has to get h-hurt here I was only j-joking y-you can just leave." "Oh no Grell I can't just leave now." Grell, who could still only hear Sebastian's' voice and still couldn't see him was now very scared and becoming jumpy, looking behind his back every few steps he took. Sebastian then said "For two reasons Grell, number one, You attacked Me and I can't just forget that happened, and number two I still have to pick up my masters' order." Sebastian let out another laugh, but this time it was much closer to Grell. As Sebastian finished speaking he reappeared right behind Grell with a curved, wicked smile on his face, then he slowly leaned forward towards Grells' left ear and said calmly "boo".
Grell yelped when he felt a sharp pain in his stomach. He looked down to see three silver knives protruding from his stomach as he began to cough up blood. Grell could barely speak, he turned around, coughing up blood and fell on his knees looking up at Sebastian, who at that moment kicked Grells' death scythe away. " 'Bassie, 'Bassie please have mercy!" Grell began to whimper and continued to cough up blood. Sebastian's crooked smile was stuck on his face the entire time, knowing as soon as Grell first attacked him that he would be victorious. He stared down at Grell the said "Relax Grell, your petty soul is worthless to me, your wounds will eventually heal." "Oh thank you 'Bassie! I knew you had feelings for me too!" Sebastian's face returned to its emotionless state as he said "Don't get any ideas Grell, I hate you, now go curl up in a corner and keep your useless whimpering to yourself." "Yes of course 'Bassie". With that Grell was quickly defeated, Sebastian didn't even break a sweat. He watched Grell crawl to one of the corners of the maze, he couldn't help but laugh at the reapers weakness.
As soon as he was sure Grell would not try anything again, Sebastian walked back to the room full of corpses and looked down at the woman who was murdered in front of him. He kneeled down and pulled the butchers knife out of her back. He cleaned it off with a rag he found on a table in the room then he looked down at the now clean knife and thought to himself "This will do nicely for Baldroy." Then he noticed a second door in this room that he hadn't seen before. He figured that it led to an adjoining room and went to the door and casually opened it, and saw five different racks of what he could only believe was beef, hung from the ceiling on hooks. He had already safely set his jacket and gloves away earlier so he searched the room and found a second knife hung on the wall across from the beef, he grabbed it then also found a container to safely package and transport the beef he turned around and began cutting the racks, working the magic only he could. Twenty minutes later the beef was safely packaged and Sebastian cleaned Baldroy's new knife again then returned to the first room where the bodies were and collected his jacket and gloves then made his way out of the maze.
Sebastian quickly found himself at the entrance of the maze again which was now unlocked yet again. He walked through the door and found the young man who was behind the counter earlier when he first walked in the store, dumbfounded, he couldn't even speak correctly stuttering and eventually saying "B-But, G-G-Grell, Ch-Ch-Ch-Chainsaw…" Sebastian walked back around the counter, his evil smile back on his face, picked up the tea set, put the box on top of the container already in his hand containing the beef and walked out the door. As he did he stopped turned back towards the man and said simply "Goodbye". The man never got a chance to say anything as the silver knife was almost instantaneously lodged inside his forehead, killing him quickly without making a sound. Then Sebastian turned back around and walked out of the shop and thought to himself "That was it? That was the attempt on my life? I believe Undertaker exaggerated just a bit. Well never mind that I should go back to the carriage and drop off these items, then continue with the remainder of the list." With that, Sebastian made his way back to the carriage.
