I do not own D. Gray Man

This place was breathtaking. He had never imagined that the world would be advanced. Yes, he had traveled the world and seen many things, but these things? Machines on wheels? Those were a great advancement from the carriages they had back then. He should be afraid of them, however, he was only excited to get in one and drive it. Kanda told him he would teach him how. He was so giddy and excited that Kanda had to pull him back from the streets several times. Walking around town had never been so interesting to Allen, the people, the clothes, the inventions, everything was new to him. He slightly felt out of place, but he looked exactly like these people. Now, looking down at his arm, he noticed it was still there, but no one was giving him disgusted looks or even giving him a glance. He wondered why. "Kanda?" he called out to the stoic samurai, "Hm, was it Moyashi?" Allen pouted at the nickname, but said nothing about it and continued on with main question. "Why has no one around me said anything about my arm and scar? Nor the fact they we are holding hand. Isn't this bad?" Kanda stopped at this, looking down at the young boy. "No... It isn't bad, in this day and time there is more... Homosexuality then there was back in our time. And as to your arm and scar, they probably think you were in an accident, people don't tend to be very cautious now when it comes to curses or witches as they were back then, they don't believe in it really." Allen nodded understanding coming to him, "So, do Akuma exist anymore?" Kanda shook his head, "We defeated the Millennium Earl remember? And with that the whole Akumas." Allen pondered this before nodding once more.

The day was calming and the silence between them was soothing, their attached hands bringing comfort that the words weren't needed as Kanda led Allen to a small garden in the center of town. There was a variety of plants, many he had never seen before, it was pretty and was happy when Kanda picked a white flower that brought out more the uniqueness of his hair and eyes. They didn't talk much at all, but enjoyed the scenery as the other pedestrians were. A few kissing or just sitting close by. The place seemed a bit a enchanted, no one speaking, but knowing what both were thinking, it made Allen and Kanda feel right just were they were and a few times, they leaned into each other to give gentle, loving kisses.

After that, Kanda led them to the downtown area of the town where there was clubs, movie theaters, restaurants, and other sorts of things, but since it was now quite a walk, they had to ride a taxi, which excited and scared Allen a bit. He concentrated on how the driver managed the vehicle receiving a strange glare from him until Kanda pulled him back and whispered in his ear, which Allen nodded to what he said. Instead at looking at the driver, he watched the town go by through the window, intrigued about the strange architecture of some of the buildings. All through the drive their hands never separated, for which he was happy for and somehow he knew Kanda was too.

Not to soon, the driver stopped outside a restaurant and Kanda took out some money paying the driver before getting out and opening the door for Allen, which took his hand once more as he stepped out and looked at the restaurant exterior. I looked nice, but not fancy. It was perfect for Allen since he wasn't exactly formally dressed, neither was Kanda. They stepped in and waited for the waitress to lead them to a table and take their drinks. Now, by this point, Allen was a bit confused. He saw people going up to the bars of food, grabbing a plate, and serving themselves. He had never seen such a thing, and would normally wait for his orders to come to him. "This is a buffet, Moyashi." Kanda answered his unvoiced question, "Instead of waiting for the food to come, you go get it yourself." Allen eyes widened slightly at this, "How much can I get?" he asked looking up at Kanda, noticing the waitress was coming back with their drinks and he smiled politely at her. "You can get as much as you want." the other answered sticking a straw into his drink and noticed Allen get excited. "Really?!" Kanda nodded before Allen suddenly stood up almost rushing towards the bars, which he quickly had to stand up and stop him noticing the man coming towards him carrying his own plate of food. He made it in time before they crashed into each other, wrapping an arm around the others waist.

Allen blushed, not noticing the man passing by glare at him, he was too close to Kanda. "Baka Moyashi, watch where you are going. And you don't have to rush, you can always go back for more after getting your first plate." Allen nodded dumbly as Kanda took his hand and led them to the bar and got plates for both of them, letting go of his hand. "Here serve your self whatever appetites you, but don't get a lot. Remember, you can come back and get some more." Allen nodded again smiling at Kanda, "Thank you, Kanda." He wondered off to go look through the food, Kanda keeping a close eye on him, just in case.

As they ate, they made conversation or just ate at times, Kanda, as always was finished before the Moyashi. It was a surprise that even without his innocence he ate so much, "Must be a habit." he thought as he watched the other finish he plate of dessert. He called the waitress over and looked at the bill, he winced lightly, thinking that the waitresses must have noticed that the Moyashi was eating for the whole restaurant. The wince did not go by Allen, and he frowned a little. "Sorry Kanda, I didn't mean to burden you with my eating." Kanda looked up then smiled, "Don't worry, Moyashi. I can spoil you every once and a while, no?" At this Allen blushed before giving a small smile and Kanda placed down his credit card, the waitress taking it then a while coming back returning it with the receipt.

After this, they exited the restaurant. Kanda pulling the Moyashi to the side wanting to give him a kiss, however, as he was leaning down an exuberant voice was heard, irritating Kanda to no end. "Yuu! Moyashi!" The baka usagi called out to them, interrupting their date. "What have I told you about calling me that, Bake Usagi?" The red-head chuckled beside him was Lenalee, which laughed also, "We just wanted to join you two, there is going to be a fair later on, all the till night time and we didn't want to miss." Kanda glared but said nothing, "A fair?! I want to go!" The silver-haired suddenly spoke out, his hands clasped together in excitement. Lavi smirked at the boy's cuteness and wrapped his arm around Allen, receiving another glare from the longed-haired. "Well, let's get going guys! We can't let Moyashi-chan miss his first fair of the century." He said as he dragged Allen away, the other two having no choice but to follow.

They spent the whole day walking around the town site-seeing and playing various games and going on different rides. Allen and Kanda wanted to sit by each other, but Lavi always grabbed Allen first, this only infuriated the samurai, swearing to himself that he would kill the rabbit once they got home. However, when night came, they were all exhausted, especially the Moyashi, never having so much fun in his life and as he almost collapsed, he managed to go towards Kanda and lean against him as they waited for a taxi to take them back. Lavi's glare went unnoticed by Allen and temporary ignored by Kanda, as he wrapped his arm around Allen, pulling him close, the air slightly chilly. As the taxi arrived they all piled in, Lavi going in front and the other three in the back, Allen almost on Kanda's lap, which received a giggle from Lenalee, thinking it was cute.

Arriving at the order, everyone, except Kanda and Allen, went there separate ways. Kanda carrying the now sleeping boy up to his room, which fortunately had already been fixed and made for two. He carefully laid the boy down and quickly yet carefully stripped him of most of his clothes before doing the same to himself leaving the boxers on and undoing his hair from the tie, before quietly climbing in next to Allen and pulling the blankets over them. "Goodnight Aren." he said as he kissed the younger boy's forehead and holding him close to his chest as he also fell into a deep, calm sleep.
