Lanny was sitting down in his room. He was excited as he typed through his computer. He was quickly typing as a video game was going on. "Almost got it," he chuckled and kept on typing. He suddenly saw a screen pop up and was amazed.

"Yes," Lanny said as he pressed enter. The video game suddenly revealed many secrets of the game. "I did it," Lanny cheered to himself and kept on typing.

A day has passed as Lanny was sitting in his school yard. He was all by himself and with a basketball. He was trying to shoot. He made a couple shots, but failed at some.

"Hey Lanny," someone screamed, "stop hogging the ball and pass it already!" A classmate said and Lanny groaned. He turned and threw the ball to his classmates.

Lanny came home and sat immediately in the front of his computer. He opened up a game file and grinned. "Let's see if I can hack this," Lanny thought and began to type. He typed until something popped up. He got excited, but it went down.

He realized something else opened up in general. It had a passcode and didn't look like a normal game storage file. "There's nothing I can't break," Lanny started to type rapidly and the passcode was terminated.

"Now for the game-" Lanny stopped as he saw it was a kind of article. It seemed to be a report of something. Lanny blinked and began to read.

"Strong agility and resilience." Lanny whispered. "Invincibility," Lanny looked closer and started to read slowly. "They are doing experiments?" Lanny tilted his head.

He began to type into the report even more and it revealed more. He stopped and it had the same reports, but in a list. "Dark Digidestined," Lanny read in the article below. Lanny leaned back, "what's a Digidestined?" Lanny asked.

Something once again popped up and Lanny extended the file to be able to read. "S.N.A.K.E." Lanny said and he read it's effect. "It's a kind of serum that allows people to communicate to Digimon…. what?" Lanny asked and started to look into it. "This can't be… is this just a game thing?" Lanny asked and then a light shined.

Lanny moved back and he got up. He was surprised to see the needle in his desk. It had the words S.N.A.K.E. written on it. Lanny gulped and moved closer. He saw the injection that held the supposed invincibility. Lanny gulped again and picked up the serum.

He pointed it towards his hand. He shook his head and put it down. He scrolled down the S.N.A.K.E. serum and was shocked. There was another report. The report that held the amount of people who have died taking the serum. "I-I can't take this," Lanny said and broke the serum.

The glass shattered and liquid turned to air. Lanny was surprised as the computer shined again. Lanny blinked and the light engulfed him. He almost screamed, but the light took him in. He panted as his eyes were widened. He looked and saw that he was in a forest.

He got up and looked around. He saw nothing, but trees. "In a forest? That computer transferred me here," he gritted his teeth. "How is that possible, unless I'm dreaming." Lanny pinched his arm and growled.

"No, this is real," Lanny then heard a little noise behind him. He quickly turned around and looked forward. He almost stood in silence as he saw a giant mantis. It was huge and had giant bug like wings. The blades it held looked rusty, but sharp.

"H-Hey," Lanny started to step back. "Let's be nice here," Lanny chuckled and the giant mantis stomped closer. "This thing a Digimon?" Lanny thought and then he saw the monster swing.

Lanny got down and duck from the attack. Lanny turned around and started to run. He headed to the woods, "that thing won't be able to catch me with trees around," Lanny looked back and saw the Digimon cutting through trees.

"Shit!" Lanny growled and the thing grabbed Lanny. It lifted him up in the air. "Damn it," Lanny struggled and the the mantis opened it's mouth. Lanny gasped and panicked. A giant shadow came and kicked it in the face. Lanny stood in shock as he was let go.

He screamed while heading down to the ground. He closed his eyes and suddenly he stopped feeling the air pushing against him. He looked and saw he almost touching the ground. He was let go and fell to the ground.

"Ow," he said and looked behind him. He looked up and saw shocked to see a giant blue digimon. It had an X on it's chest. He had a large blade horn. "Cool…" he whispered.

"My name is ExVeemon," he said while looking at Lanny. "I'm a Digimon, your Digimon," he said and Lanny's eyes widened.

"But I- I didn't take the serum?" Lanny asked and ExVeemon was confused.

"What serum?" He asked and then a stomp was heard. They both looked back at the giant mantis Digimon. "Mantismon." ExVeemon growled.

"So that thing does have a name too," Lanny said and Mantismon flew forward.

"Don't move!" ExVeemon screamed to Lanny and flew forward too. ExVeemon growled and retracted his right fist. He punched Mantismon once they collided. Mantismon swung his right blade and hit ExVeemon's chest. ExVeemon growled and moved back while he recovered.

"You're tough," ExVeemon moved to the side from Mantismon's swing. ExVeemon flew back and Mantismon struggled before ripping his blade out of the ground. Lanny noticed and gasped.

"...Ex… ExVeemon!" Lanny screamed and ExVeemon looked back. "When he strikes the ground. He has a weakness, he can't attack for a couple of seconds!" Lanny informed and ExVeemon looked and Mantismon swinging down. ExVeemon waited and then evaded.

ExVeemon then saw Mantismon was stuck. ExVeemon growled and kicked Mantismon in the face. Mantismon went back, but his right arm was ripped off. Lanny smiled as Mantismon hit a tree. ExVeemon was charging up an attack around his chest.

"V-Laser!" ExVeemon let out and the blast went forward. It hit Mantismon and caused a slight explosion. ExVeemon stood and Lanny covered his face from the attack that has impacted. Lanny looked forward at the dust fading and saw Mantismon turning to data.

The data blew away and ExVeemon sighed. He looked back at Lanny who was impressed. "That's so cool, so Digimon is a Data monster, that's cool. Is this really a video game?" Lanny chuckled and then ExVeemon blinked.

"I'm real though," ExVeemon said and Lanny looked up. "I'm not a game," ExVeemon touched his chest and Lanny looked down.

"So this is something advanced. This place exist, I didn't hack into a game, I hacked into this place's secrets. This place, it's a world for Digimon." Lanny looked at the tree that was broken with data in it.

"Amazing," he whispered and then a shadow dropped. He growled and then saw a man show up. He looked back at Lanny who was surprised. "Another human," Lanny blinked.

"You could say that," the man spoke softly. "Think of me as a guide, I am Gennai," he introduced.

"Gennai…" Lanny looked and looked at ExVeemon. "Do you know who he is?" Lanny asked and ExVeemon nodded.

"Well he does, I did tell him he was going to meet you. His partner," Gennai smiled and Lanny was confused. "You are in the Digital World. The world that where Digimon lived. This place is a home to many data organism who are Digimon." Gennai pointed at Lanny. "You're a Digidestined."

"I'm a Digidestined? Like Dark Digidestined?" Lanny asked and Gennai was shocked.

"No," he said and looked to the side. "Dark Digidestined aren't someone you want to be. You were chosen to be a Digidestined by fate. While Dark Digidestined become one by force." Gennai explained.

"Why me though?" Lanny asked, "why am I here?" Lanny asked.

"The two worlds are slowly becoming in danger. The Dark Digidestined are growing and we need you, a Digidestined to stop them." Gennai said and took out a device. "This is a Digivice," Gennai said and threw it, Lanny immediately caught it.

"It will make you and your Digimon become strong together," Gennai touched Lanny's shoulder. "Four other Digidestined are out there. Once all of you are together you will be able to become stronger." Gennai said and looked at ExVeemon. "You and your Digimon."

"W-wait, but why me?" Lanny asked and Gennai chuckled.

"You were chosen to become the leader one day and the hero." Gennai smiled. "I trust you Lanny to lead."

(Present)

Josh was slowly walking towards Gwen and sat next to her. "Hey did you… uh get hurt from yesterday?" Josh asked nervously.

"No," Gwen said while fixing up some berries and taking off their roots. Josh looked down while thinking to himself for a bit.

"Well you know, I thought you would be hurt," Josh chuckled nervously and Sandy walked over. Sandy glared and looked to the side.

"Hey Josh!" Sandy snapped and Josh looked over. "Why don't you help out instead of talking!" Sandy walked to the side and Josh blinked.

"Why is she so angry?" Josh asked and Twix walked over.

"Well isn't it simple," Twix giggled, "she likes you," Twix said and Josh blushed. Gwen almost flinched and then Twix saw a shadow over him. "Huh?"

Sandy looked down with a menacing death glare. "Now Sandy-" Twix was cut off by Sandy grabbing him. She pulled him to a bush where hits were heard.

"You. Talk. Too. Much!" Sandy kept on hitting Twix. She came out and huffed. She glared and walked away. Josh and Gwen looked as Twix dragged himself out of the bush with bumps all over his head.

"I'm alive for now…" Twix drags himself once again.

"I can hope," Josh and Gwen chuckled at Twix who laid down. Sandy only walked into the tent. By the tent was Gatomon who seemed sad. She glanced at Josh who was trying to help Twix up.

"Even after what we been through, he still doesn't notice me," Gatomon let down a single tear, "I thought he would love me." Gatomon looked down and Chip walked over.

"Hey, don't think that way," Chip said and sat next to Gatomon. "Love comes in different forms. He loves you and I, don't think like he doesn't. He cares about you as much as he does anyone else."Chip said and Gatomon wiped her tear with a smile on her her.

"You're right," she replied and Chip chuckled.

Lanny was eating some berries and Phoenix was next to him looking at a picture. Phoenix picture had him holding a baby. The baby looked peaceful and Phoenix was smiling. He sighed and Twix glanced down. "Hey, is that like your brother or sister?" Twix asked and Phoenix got up not answering. "Hey-"

"Guys," Phoenix said to the group. "I think Lanny's Stone is next," Phoenix suggested.

"What?" Lanny blinked at Phoenix who nodded. "How… How do you know that?" Lanny asked.

"I don't know, it's just a feeling." Phoenix said and looked at Josh. "But something tells me you have to do something similar to what Josh did. He felt 'love' and that's what made Gatomon digivolve." Phoenix suggested.

"Alright, so even if I'm next. We don't know what stone I have." Lanny argued and Phoenix shrugged.

"Then I guess you have to try, feel a certain emotion." Phoenix said and Lanny blinked.

"A-Alright," Lanny closed his eyes and looked around. He groaned and looked down, "what is this supposed to accomplish?" Lanny asked.

"Well I mean you can try," Veemon walked up to Lanny. "You're smart, how about you use that to find the stone." Veemon suggested and Lanny looked down. He started to concentrate deeply.

"Hurry up," Sandy whispered angrily in the side while Josh gave her a look. "Tch," Sandy looked to the side.

"Alright," Lanny said and opened his eyes. "If it was somewhere around here it would lead us to the forest." Lanny walked into the forest. Veemon followed and the others did too. "I would turn left and go deeper into the forest." Lanny spoke softly.

"Where the hell is he going?" Sandy asked.

"I don't know, he's trying to find his stone," Gwen replied and Lanny turned once again.

"Then," Lanny looked and saw a rock in the middle of a field. "There it is," Lanny looked disappointed.

"All we found a stupid rock?" Sandy growled and Lanny walked closer. His eyes was fixed on the the stone that was inside it.

"It's the stone," Lanny said and everyone got closer. They saw the stone trapped in the rock.

"No way," Sandy chuckled, "yes, Twix, you're going to be stronger!" Sandy laughed as Twix looked down nervously.

"Wait, it's Lanny's," Gwen said and Sandy looked at her. "Let him take it," Gwen said and Sandy pouted angrily.

"Alright," Lanny said and he touched the stone. He started to pull on it as he felt something different. He wasn't even budging the stone. "What?" Lanny said and let go of the stone. "I can't pull it out," Lanny thought while looking at his palm.

"Alright then," Sandy moved Lanny and popped her knuckles. "So how a real girl does this," Sandy gripped the stone and began to pull. She growled and tried her best. "Damn," she pulled and flew back.

"Are you alright?" Twix asked and Sandy sat up. She nodded and glared down.

"My turn," Phoenix said and he gripped the stone too. He started to lift up as it began extremely hard. He gave up as he was panting. "No, it just refuses to move." Phoenix panted.

"Don't worry," Tapirmon floated to him, "you at least helped find it." Tapirmon spoke and Lanny's eyes widened.

"Then I guess I will go," Gwen walked up to the stone and began to pull up. She gritted her teeth and pushed as hard as she can. She screamed as she fell back. Josh caught her, they both looked at each other. Josh coughed and Gwen moved away.

"It's my turn then," Josh said and looked down at the stone. "It would be amazing if I have two stones," Josh smirked and touched the stone. "Alright here I go," Josh pulled and immediately slipped back. He landed on his head.

"Smooth," Sandy growled and Josh grabbed his hurt head. Gatomon and Chip came to his aid. "So what now?" Sandy looked at Phoenix. "We have our stone, but we can't take it."

"I don't know," Phoenix said and looked closely at the stone. "Maybe it's a fake," Phoenix sighed. Lanny was concentrating closely.

"Alright, since it could be a fake. Let's get out of here…" Sandy said and then she cut off by a slam. She looked at the forest and saw a shadow popped up.

"Huh?" They all looked and saw a giant Digimon show up.

"Eh," Twix blinked at the green dragon with the red large spike. He had large wings shaped like hands and a tail with a spiked ball. It was Groundramon.

"Oh that's not good," Josh chuckled and the dragon roared angrily. He came charging up, "hm," Josh put his hand forward immediately and started to charge up a ball. It shined bright to nearly blind everyone. Josh screamed and shot the blast. It rocketed forward and headed to Groundramon.

Groundramon spun and used his tail to destroy the ball. The tail revealed to have a Bee Sting on it. Groundramon roared once again and Sandy ran forward.

"Wait!" Josh and Twix screamed as Sandy got closer to Groundramon. Sandy's right hand turned into Gomamon's claws. She slashed forward and cut Groundramon's right eye. He screamed and moved back. Sandy spun and kicked Groundramon in the face.

Sandy moved back and felt a slight pain in her leg. "Just like Orochimon… strong. This one's Ultimate," Sandy huffed. Sandy looked surprised as Groundramon's tail was headed to her.

"D-Damn," she whispered as Phoenix came and grabbed Sandy.

"You okay?" Phoenix asked and Sandy nodded. "Now!" Phoenix's digivice shined and Boarmon came. He tackled back Groundramon. Phoenix took a deep breath and pulled his head back. "Nose Blaster!" Phoenix and Boarmon both shot fire from their nose which hit Groundramon.

"A double attack?" Sandy blinked and Groundramon moved back with a burnt on his hand. Phoenix wiped his nose while chuckling.

"Let's go," Phoenix said and Boarmon started to run forward.

Sandy looked on and then glanced back at Gomamon. Gomamon nodded and Sandy's digivice shined. "Gomamon digivolve to Ikkakumon!" Ikkakumon rampaged forward with Sandy going after Groundramon.

Groundramon was swinging his tail around Phoenix who was dodging them all. "Slamming Attack!" Groundramon was tackled back by Boarmon. Groundramon hit Boarmon back with his tail.

"No," Phoneix moved forward and then Groundramon aimed his claw wing at him. Phoenix saw Sandy come down and rip the wing out with paws.

Ikkakumon fired a torpedo from the side and destroyed the wing for a while. Sandy then pointed her hand down which took out a spike. "Now, learn your place," Sandy fired her own torpedo. It head Groundramon's head. Sandy flipped and got off of Groundramon. She looked back at him.

She saw that Groundramon healed all his missing body parts. Sandy growled and clenched his fist. "Ikkakumon!" Sandy glared and Ikkakumon listened. "Do what you did at the right time. I'll fight close range," Sandy shot forward.

"This isn't good," Josh said and growled. "Come on Gatomon can you digivolve?"

"I- I can't," Gatomon looked at her paws. Josh saw Sandy get hit by Groundramon. He saw Boarmon, Ikkakumon and Phoenix all fight Groundramon.

"I can't just watch them…" Josh moved forward and he pulled his fist back.

"Wait Josh!" Gatomon screamed and Chip followed Josh. Chip turned into Reptiledramon as Josh jumped up.

"Lightning Paw!" Josh hit the head of Groundramon. He whimpered and slid back as Josh landed on the ground.

"Woah," Sandy looked impressed as Reptiledramon and Gatomon surrounded Josh.

"I'll fight too," Josh nervously huffed as Groundramon growled. He roared and Josh with Gatomon moved forward.

Sandy moved forward with a smirk implanted in her face.

"There- there fighting," Gwen looked at Lanny who turned to V-mon.

"Gwen, go fight," Lanny said while looking back. "I'm going to release this stone." Lanny spoke and Gwen looked confused.

"H-How?" She asked and Lanny glared.

"Don't ask questions," Lanny grinned and Gwen stopped. She nodded slightly as she started to jog to the others with Lalamon. Lanny smiled and turned to V-mon.

"V-mon digivolve to XV-mon!" XV-mon stomped as Lanny's right hand turned to XV-mon's. "What do we do Lanny?" XV-mon asked and Lanny jumped forward.

"If we can't take out the stone, might as well break the surroundings!" Lanny screamed and moved back while punching again with the right hand. The rock started to crack.

"I-It worked," XV-mon said and Lanny punched it again.

"Come on!" Lanny spun and hit it while cracking it even wider. "This won't crack itself!" Lanny's leg turned into XV-mon's and he kicked up.

XV-mon roared and started to punch the stone which cracked and broke off some. "Keep going!" Lanny screamed and kept on hitting himself.

"Lightning Paw!" Gatomon fought off one of Groundramon's wings. Sunflowmon came and blasted Groundramon who wasn't even phased.

"Not done," Sandy came and kicked the face of Groundramon. The wing of Groundramon came and she blocked it with the quick missile. She slid back and glared as Groundramon roared. "That's right, get mad!"

"Don't tempt him," Boarmon growled while Groundramon swung around his tail. Sandy dodged them all while the others moved back.

"I said come and get-" Sandy was hit by the spike ball. She coughed and flew up in the air.

"No!" Josh screamed and Groundramon once again swung his tail down. A shadow suddenly showed up and everyone looked surprised. Josh's eyes calmed when he noticed it was Lanny.

"I got you," Lanny chuckled and Sandy blinked. He put down Sandy and turned around to Groundramon who roared. "It's my turn," Lanny clenched his fist. "Well it's yours…"

A loud stomp was heard as everyone looked back. They saw a giant Digimon who nearly blocked the sun. They looked closer and saw it wasn't XV-mon. "Thats…"

"Paildramon!" Paildramon stomped and Groundramon growled as Paildramon stepped forward.

"But how-" Sandy stopped while spotting Lanny's hand bleeding. "Sorry, but I found a way to get the stone." Lanny looked at his knuckles, "Stone of Knowledge, I gladly accept it." Lanny pointed. "Paildramon! Take care of him!" Lanny grinned and Paildramon moved forward.

Paildramon uppercut Groundramon. "So quick," Gwen smiled while Paildramon hit the Ultimate Digimon back.

"That's for hurting my friends," Paildramon said and suddenly took out his blaster. "Desperado Blaster!" Paildramon fired his multiple bullets. Groundramon roared and whimpered in pain.

"Alright!" Sandy said while Lanny looked with a smile on his face.

"Now to finish it!" Paildramon put his right hand forward. "Electric Bolt!" Paildramon quickly charged up and fired the ball. Groundramon was hit by it as he roared.

A huge electric ball came and dust covered the entire place. Everyone, but Lanny covered themselves up. Sandy coughed before looking at Groundramon walking away. "Hey-" Sandy cut off once again while a spike turn to dust from Groundramon's tail.

"It's over," Lanny said and he sat down on the tree.

"We have another stone," Josh sat down too and Lanny looked at his bloody knuckles once more. He chuckles as he accept being the 'leader.'

Josh's Guardian was sitting in the chair where he looked up. Brandon sighed and looked out the window. He shivered when he felt a presence come right behind him.

Brandon looked back and he blinked. A snake with metal fangs snickered. Brandon didn't have time to respond as the snake bit his neck. Brandon coughed before he collapsed back.

"Now, I wonder who's stronger, S.N.A.K.E. or me?" He laughed and then behind him more shadows showed up.

There were the other ten members as they had black arrow skull heads. The room changed into a dark room as each member looked down. A giant Digimon surrounded by ice was sleeping, but the Digimon suddenly opened it's eyes.
