Happy Valentine's Day!

Garen's eye twitched. He began to fidget and ordered himself not rage. The reason why? Lux had received a Valentine's Day gift.

The only reason why he knew this was because he was currently hiding in a bush, chaperoning his younger sister. Everything was perfectly fine, until Ezreal came.

"Hey, Lux!" he called.

"Oh, hi! Happy Valentine's Day!" Lux cheerfully replied.

"Same to you! Speaking of which, here!" Ezreal handed her a bouquet of flowers.

Both Demacians were shocked. The Lady of Luminosity had never expected a gift from him and Garen didn't think the boy had the guts to give anyone flowers.

"Oh! Um, thanks!" Lux flushed red and so did Garen. With rage.

He was trembling in the bush. Lux had accepted the flowers and was smiling over the dozen.

"Luxanna Crownguard." Garen mumbled to himself. "DEMACIA!" He leaped out of the bush, his ever-present sword in hand.

Both blondes jumped up with fright. Ezreal immediately ran off, fearing Garen's anger. However, Lux stood her ground. The flowers were lain gently on the floor and her hands were on her hips.

"Garen! What was that?" she asked.

"Luxanna, as your older brother, I am here to watch over and protect you," he answered.

"Ezreal's not dangerous!"

"He's not a Demacian, which makes him dangerous."

"We've seen him during games. He helps his team and everything."

"He's part of the Institute of War. Everyone part of the Institute is dangerous."

"So, I suppose you are, too?"

"Ye- No. Demacians are the exception."

Frustrated, Lux walked off. Garen sighed. He didn't mean to make his sister upset; he just wanted to protect her. He gently picked up the bouquet of flowers and tossed them in the trash.

Valentine's Day. Katarina hated this day the most. In the past, it was because Cassiopeia had received a lot of flowers, chocolates, and gifts. She never got any. Now, it was because she got a mountain of gifts.

"Having fun, sister?" Cassiopeia had been teasing her about the gifts she would get on this day. In her room, a mountain of presents were waiting to be open.

"Be quiet! At least, I got some. Unlike someone here," she snapped back.

Cassiopeia brushed it off. "I've gotten my share. It's your turn, now."

"Shut up."

Katarina left the room and headed to her bedroom. Hesitantly, she unwrapped a small red box that was in front of her.

Oh, that's nice. A box of chocolate. One chocolate was inside. It was signed by some rich Noxian playboy. She tossed it out the door into the hallway.

Next, she received a set of daggers. She ran her finger over the blades and found out that it was dull. Well, she had no use for them. She had plenty anyways. Again, she tossed them out into the hallway.

She repeated this process, until hardly anything was left. A couple of bouquets of flowers were left. She glanced at the tags. From other Noxians she didn't even know.

The last bouquet was in the corner. Katarina crawled over to it. The tag read, From Garen, Happy Valentine's Day.

Katarina snorted and finished her activity. Tossing out flowers.
