(Kaoru POV the beach)

The sun was scorching of course. But the heat it let off was really soothing. The waves crashed against the sand with a soothing sound. I watched as a few kids were swimming in the ocean with their parents.

"UWAHHHH~! The water looks great!", Momoko said. She was about to run in when she noticed a certain red head trying to sneak off. "Oh no you don't!"

BANG!

"Ouch! What was that for?", Brick asked.

"Trying to run away! Now c'mon, let's play in the water!", she said. She plopped a floaty ring around him and pulled him to the ocean.

"Don't get washed by the tide Momo!", I called out.

"Hai!", she called back. I looked back to Miyako to see her trying to set up the blanket and umbrella as Boomer was sitting on the side. I sweat dropped at her failed attempts.

"Miyako, how about you go play and I set the blanket and umbrella up?", I offered.

"It's okay Kaoru-san, leave it to me.", she said with a determined look but the blanket flew out of place again. I sighed at her failed attempts.

I took the collar of Butch's sweater and grabbed the blanket as Miyako held the umbrella. I threw the blanket into place with a swift movement of my wrist and threw Butch onto it. Then I grabbed the lazy blonde on the sidelines and set him next to his brother. I took the umbrella from Miyako and jabbed it into the ground, grabbing the nearest rocks I could find to put at the corners of the blanket to keep it into place.

Miyako looked at me with amazement.

"Now why don't you go play? I'm in the mood to just sunbathe or something.", I told her.

She smiled and nodded. "Thanks Kaoru!", she said while hugging me before running off with her bucket and Boomer. Well at least she remembered to take him. Now that leaves me with this green eyed headache.

I plopped myself next to the said headache and laid back. I couldn't relax too well though, I could see him going from glaring at me to staring at my stomach back and forth.

"Oi! Chibi hentai. Are you going to glare at me or stare at my exposed flesh? Make up your mind.", I asked with a glare as I lowered my sunglasses to look at him. He glared at me.

" Good choice.", I said.

I just laid there for a while and before I knew it, I felt myself drift to sleep.

(Butch's POV)

How long do I intend to glare at her face? I dunno…

My gaze shifted to her stomach again but I forced myself back to glare at her. I hope she didn't see that… I could feel my face heat up slightly. The sun must be getting to me.

"Oi! It's hot here. Why drag us to a place like this?", I asked. She didn't answer. I felt a tic mark appear on my head.

"Oi!", I said, lifting her glasses above her head to see her asleep….She looked….Kinda peaceful….

There goes that heat again.

"Baka…", I said. "Don't fall asleep in front of your enemy…"

I saw her move a bit, making me flinch. She mumbled something about beef ramen, causing me to chuckle.

"Oi, I said not to fall asleep in front of your enemy…", I said poking her cheek. She just kept mumbling about that ramen. I kinda smiled. I fiddled with the baby hairs that fell out of her pony tail and said the next words under my breath.

"Don't make your enemy grow affectionate of you in your sleep, idiot cootie girl."

(Kaoru's POV)

Sorry for the short chappie and not updating since forever. I know I need to update and I am sorry I haven't. I finished My worst enemy is my Hero so I will now update the rest more frequently as possible with school. I will do my best. Please review!
