Naruto watches Sasuke's pained expression with concern as he cautiously wraps a bandage around Sasuke's injured wing. Every time he hears Sasuke hiss in pain he winces, hating to cause the other any pain, intentional or unintentional. Naruto soon finishes patching up Sasuke's wing and looks up at him, looking away with a deep blush at the brunette's intense gaze. Catching on to the blonde's embarrassment, Sasuke looks away, and his own blush forming on his pale cheeks. Chuckling softly at both of their blushing cheeks, Sasuke reaches over and ruffles the blonde's hair, smiling shyly. "Thank you Naruto, I'm happy you were here to help me." Naruto blushes even redder at the kind words and soft contact, forcing him to look away from Sasuke's kind eyes once again.
"N-no problem Sasuke... You're my best friend, I had to help."
Sasuke chuckles softly at the color flooding the blond's face, his hand brushing back a lock of hair as he goes to speak again. "But it isn't exactly your fault that I fell." He shifts his bandaged wing slightly, ruffling the feathers in a small attempt at humor. Naruto chokes slightly in embarrassment, forcing his gaze back to Sasuke's face.
"I did startle you though. That's probably why you landed so harshly... I'm glad to see you're okay though." He smiles brightly, a tiny laugh escaping his lips. Sasuke huffs in his own embarrassment, deciding to shut his blond up with a gentle kiss to the lips. Pulling back just enough to breath, he whispers, "I'll always be okay with you here…" Feeling the tiny puffs of breath against his own lips, Naruto grabs the back of Sasuke's head and pulls him into another kiss, this one slower but much sweeter.
