"BERRY, WHAT ARE YOU DOING?!"

Amber Dawn looked at Berry in anger as he climbed up the tree Dew was on.

"It's Mating Night, isn't it?!" Berry snarled. "She's going to get it, and she'll be fine!"

"We're not monsters." Amber Dawn hissed. "You can't mate with her if she doesn't want to!"

"DON'T TELL ME WHAT TO DO!" Berry roared. "I came her for mating, and I'm gonna get it."

Dew stood on the branch and looked at the crowd with pleading eyes.

I was about to jump, but the Umbreon Gold was faster.

He leaped onto the tree and smacked Berry off the tree with such ease that Berry snarled and dug his claws into Gold's shoulders as soon as he climbed back up.

"She mine not yours!" Berry hissed.

"This isn't about that, get off." Gold growled in a deep voice.

"NO!" Berry screeched.

What followed was a shock, Gold flipped to face Berry and ripped his throat open. Berry gasped and blood spurted out as he fell onto one of the moss beds and started bleeding out.

"HELP ME!" Berry cried in a scratchy voice. His claws dug into the dirt as he looked on with desperate eyes.

"Dew, my daughter!" Berry wailed. "Save me!"

Dew looked at Berry coldly from her branch and then looked away. Berry died before he could say another word.

Amber Dawn stood over Berry's body and snorted.

"No one will miss him." Amber Dawn said dryly. "The Mating Night will continue."

Dew looked riled and upset, clinging tighter onto the branch. Gold climbed up the branch and nuzzled her shoulder.

Dew looked at him.

"Thank you." Dew whispered. "But was that just to mate with me?"

"No, only if that's what you wish for." Gold replied.

Dew and Gold jumped off the branch and rested under the tree. I noticed Camelia and Lumber eating from the buffet with a dull look in both of their eyes.

"They must still be grieving over their dead babies." Felis sighed. "Poor them."

The mating had started, and it turned out Dew and Gold would mate. Saturn took Moth, Cloud took Ginger, Mud Tail took Pixie, Obsidian took Amber Dawn, and suprisingly, I witnessed Camelia and Lumber break up. Camelia took Colt as her partner for the night and Lumber took a female Emolga.

I took Felis, again.

Warm, wet pelts worn out from mating rested across the moss beds. Even the moss couldn't stop from our bodies getting sticky.

I looked down and gasped at who was in my arms.

Camelia.

My ears twiched when I saw Otter splayed out across Felis. I looked and saw all the partners had switched with each other several times.

"Oh baby..." Camelia opened her eyes and caressed my chin.

I glared as I noticed Otter and Felis were...stuck.

"Oh, Riptide!" Felis blushed. "Great night, huh?"

"Definitely." Otter smirked. "So much, I'm staying inside Felis."

"Get out." I unsheathed my claws and pushed Camelia away from me.

"Hold on." Otter pulled out of Felis. "Better?"

"Stay away from my mate!" I hissed as I jumped on top of Otter and slashed his mane.

"OW!" Otter electrocuted me and shoved me off.

"You didn't just mate with me." Felis growled.

"I can see that." I replied dryly.

"You mated with her, and those three Rattata sisters, and Amber Dawn!" Felis snapped.

"I saw you going at it with Saturn and Cloud!" I hissed. "At the same time!"

"Let's just drop it." Felis growled. "We haven't even built a nest together yet."

"Fine." I muttered. We left the clearing behind us as we went to look for a nest together.

Felis pointed at a nice spot shaded by two tall trees and then we started digging.

After a long time, a huge den was built underground, we covered the whole entrance with branches all except for a corner where me and Felis could squeeze through.

"We can finally have a family together." Felis purred.

I felt a jolt of alarm remembering that Daniel Darkrai telling me that I doomed Willow Creek.

"I don't want a family." I gasped.

"Well, I mated with several males. I'm bound to get impregnated by one." Felis growled. "You don't have much of a choice, Riptide."

"I don't have to raise them." I retorted.

"Why did we built a nest together then?!" Felis snapped. "Get out, Riptide!"

Felis shoved me out the small entrance and I sighed.

Before I could get my thoughts together, I saw a small red ball fly in the air. It landed behind a Pidgey and I watched the ball intently.

The ball opened and sucked the Pidgey in.
