I ran and searched for Ragged Wing, I looked wildly from several directions to make sure no Yellow Monsters were bringing down trees towards me.

I dashed throughout Willow Creek and felt my heart sink.

Ragged Wing and his two sons, all three corpses laying before me.

They were dead.

I leaped away from them and shrieked, remembering Daniel Darkrai's words.

All relatives of you now have it and are guaranteed an eternity in the Darkness Core. Me and my mate Gloria can finally have our revenge on the cruel world.

I knew I had to kill my sister and destroy her eggs.

I saw a Yellow Monster drive past Mud Tail's den where Pixie moved in. I ran inside and saw Mud Tail and Pixie cowering in a corner with their five eggs.

"RIPTIDE!" Pixie cried. "What are you doing here?"

I didn't respond but run up to Pixie and slash her throat open, she fell back and tried to scream, resulting in her throat bleeding more.

Her blue eyes flashed at me in shock, but no other feeling remained as she died before her mate.

Mud Tail's jaws were hanging open and he stared at me.

I smashed one egg with my paw and shook off the embryo from my claws.

Mud Tail leaped onto me and sank his claws on my shoulders to stay on.

"YOU RAT!" Mud Tail snarled. "DON'T EVEN KILL OUR YOUNG!"

"I'll kill you if you don't let go!" I retorted, trying to swing him off me.

Mud Tail jumped off of me and took an egg with.

"NO!" I roared. "GET BACK HERE!"

Mud Tail kept his distance from me and gestured his head back.

Amber Dawn and Moth appeared from the trees with burlap sacks on their necks.

Before I could react, Moth plucked all three eggs quickly and placed them in the sacks.

I leaped onto Moth's back and sank my claws into her behind.

"GET OFF!" Moth snapped. Her body glowed with electricity and I fell back at the pulse of her Thunderbolt.

I felt weak and barely registered that the two Zebstrika and Mud Tail escaped with the eggs I was supposed to destroy.

I collapsed and screamed over the crashing sound of trees.

I had to find Felis so we could get out of here.

By the time I reached our den, most of the trees around it fell.

"Felis?" I whispered.

"Stay out." she growled from within our den.

"Why?" I walked in and froze.

Felis had four eggs to her belly.

"Those aren't Pixie's eggs, are they?" I asked.

"No, they're ours." Felis clarified.

My eyes widened and I realized I now had direct kin, children that could carry on the curse.

"Don't you dare." Felis cried. "YOU CAN'T DO-"

I leaped onto Felis and kicked the eggs away, cracking two of them.

I looked back, and tilted my head. I swear there was four of them, so why is there only one left?

Felis slammed her skull into my lower jaw and I cried.

"MY KITS!" Felis wailed. "YOU KILLED THEM!"

"All but one it seems." I jumped into the air to slam my paws down on the last egg, but Felis was quicker.

She jumped and knocked me out of reach of the egg.

"NO THEY'RE CURSED!" I wailed.

"You've always been this cruel and paranoid!" Felis snarled. "I don't why I ever asked you to be my-"

I snarled, baring my yellow fangs and slamming Felis's skull into the ground. She bared her fangs at me briefly before I snapped her legs with my paws. She wailed and cried loudly before I snapped her neck.

I dropped Felis's corpse from my paws and left her in the den.

I looked around before I threw the last egg into the wall, smashing it in the process.

I could only hope the sacks carrying the eggs break or the carriers get killed in the destruction.

If so, that should mean the curse will be broken.

I sighed a sigh of relief.

I am finally free.

But as far from the truth Riptide was. For one egg actually did slip out of the den whilst Riptide was killing his mate and eggs, it rolled down the forest narrowly avoid the creeks till it stopped in front of a Yellow Monster.

"DAD STOP!" the girl Melissa cried. "STOP THE BULLDOZER!"

"What?" Melissa's father did so and stepped out. "What is it?"

"An egg was left here!" Melissa replied. "It must be a Pokémon egg! Can I keep it?"

"Of course, we need as much Pokémon to train as we can." the father said. "Donna, my dear. Can you send Alicia and Shawn to collect the eggs and babies left behind?"

"Of course, Ryan." the blond curvy woman across the bulldozers replied.

And so Alicia and Shawn the humans did find and kill the Zebstrika and Mud Tail and collect the four eggs they had attempted to escape with, they collected all the other eggs: Amber Dawn's two eggs, Sea Coral's one egg, Ginger's three eggs, and Dew's three eggs.

The egg of Riptide and Felis was snug in a homemade sling in a tent with all the other eggs. Alicia, a red-haired woman, watched the eggs intently and noticed Riptide's egg wiggling.

"Shawn!" Alicia called. "Melissa's first egg is hatching!"

A pale-skinned adolescent man with long brown hair walked in the tent and kissed Alicia.

"So the egg is?" the man, Shawn, replied. "Melissa's dad, Ryan, had a good plan. Y'know, killing all the parents and keeping the eggs. The Pokémon will definitely be domesticated this way."

A little male Purrloin slid out of the egg and into Alicia's left hand.

"What should his name be?" Alicia asked.

"Gemini sounds like a good name for it." Shawn smiled.

"It's settled then." Alicia propped the newborn Purrloin into her arms. "Welcome to the world, Gemini."
