Chapter 2:
You were next, Roy. Your egg actually seemed to be doing fine. It was vivid, colorful, brighter than even Lemmy's (grammar mess up to be fixed later) But one day, Mom brought your egg into my lab. Your colors were fading...you were dying.
After having recreated Lemmy the year before, your creation wasn't nearly as complicated. I was even able to keep your original egg in tact.
Using a small piece of a Koopa's shell, I formed a new egg, where you would grow for the rest of the needed time. Taking a long needle, I inserted it into the old egg, extracting DNA from your still dying body.
With an entire syringe full, I placed your very essence into a petri dish alongside an incubating, fertile female egg. Moving your brief living quarters into a form of..well..you would say it looked like a microwave, but obviously, if it's in my lab, it wasn't.
This machine was similar to the time cubes I had built earlier in life, but instead of reversing time, the box sped up time for the object (or creature) inside.
This was the only place I made a mistake. The machine began to malfunction, speeding you up more than what I originally planned. that is the reason you are "older" than Iggy.
Finally, after what seemed like hours of fighting, I was able to get the machine to stop. You were almost the sign of a hatchling. Using a "transporter" (another word you would call it) I placed you in the makeshift egg, knowing we only had a few days before you came into the world...properly.
