Ice: Alright, Gajeel, Levy. It's your turn... Please don't mess this up ok?
Levy: I won't let you down! But I don't know about this piece of iron right here...
Gajeel: Shut up shrimp!
Ice: Ok, ready... And action!
Levy: Jose figured something out about Lucy... But what is it? What is Lucy hiding?
Gajeel: I mean duh! She's a s-
Levy: GAJEEL! Don't give it away!
Gajeel: They probably already know anyways!
Ice: GUYS.
Gajeel: So Gray and Juvia head to the guild and almost have uh... Oh, im gonna puke... A... moment... Ew...
Levy: So anyways... They get to the guild and begin to discuss saving Lucy when Gajeel bursts in injured...
Gajeel: Hey, how would you like it if you were beat up by your dad, then literally thrown out of the castle?
Levy: *rolls eyes* ANYWAYS. They all head off to save Lucy while I am stuck here with this jerk in the infirmary...
Gajeel: Shrimp!
Levy: Iron head!
Gajeel: Shortie!
Levy: Giant!
Ice: Oh. My. Gosh... Anyways... Have a fun time reading... -_-
Lucy panted and wiped her bloody mouth on her shoulder. Her vision was fuzzy and her body was sore all over, but she couldn't give up. She was a member of Fairy Tail, and Fairies never back away.
"Ready to talk yet?" Jose asked crossing his legs as he sat in his arm chair. Lucy laughed weakly.
"You... are going to... to lose..." She swallowed roughly. Jose smiled sickly.
"I never lose." He stated flipping a huge switch upwards. Lightning shot out of the cuffs, electrocuting her. Lucy screamed and yanked on the shackles. The pain surged through her and her body felt like it was going to explode. The Phantom Lord switched the flip off.
"What do you know?" He asked leaning against the wall. Lucy blinked rapidly, trying to stay awake.
"Alright... A-Alright..." Lucy sighed and looked up at him. Jose raised an eyebrow and leaned in closer so he could listen.
"I know that..." She paused and took in a deep breath, smiling sweetly at him. "That you are a sick bastard who is going to rot in the cellar when Fairy Tail rises ag-" Lucy was cut off when a hand sliced across her face harshly.
"You should really learn to watch your mouth."
Juvia crouched down and studied the guards. There were a lot more of them from before. She guessed that after her and Gray escaped, they added more guards, and by the strength of their auras, she could tell they were magic users. They shouldn't be too hard to defeat, but it won't be a piece of cake either.
"Does everybody know the plan?" Gray whispered to the rest of the guild behind them. They all nodded, readying their weapons and magic.
"Can you tell us anything about the guards?" A girl with brown hair asked. Juvia remembered her name was Cana. She nodded.
"You see them over there?" Juvia pointed to three boys standing by the gates. "They are extremely strong. They are members of the Element Four, Phantom Lords guardians." Juvia explained. Erza scooted closer to Juvia.
"Element Four? Doesn't that mean there would be four of them?" Erza asked taking a closer look at the men. Juvia looked at the ground.
"Juvia is the fourth member..." She mumbled quietly. "Element Four is the four elements. Water, earth, fire, and wind."
" I thought you worked in the salon with Lucy?" Gray tilted his head questioningly. Juvia cleared her throat.
"Juvia will explain it all later..."
"I see..." Erza trailed off. "Well, can you tell us anything about them?" Juvia nodded.
"That one right there is Sol." Juvia said pointing to a creepy looking man with green hair and a spectacle. "Sol is a very skilled user of Earth Magic and Sand Magic. Sol has a unique body structure capable of twisting and stretching in unnatural manners at will."
"That's really creepy..." Wendy said taking in a deep breath.
"Him right there," Juvia said, now pointing at the man with black and white hair put in a high ponytail and a black stripe painted horizontally across his face. "That's Totomaru. He use Rainbow Fire Magic, it's the ability of several different kinds of flames." Natsu laughed loudly, making Erza shove her armored fist in his mouth.
"Natsu is the strongest fire wizard in Magnolia." Erza whispered loud enough for everyone to hear. Everybody nodded in agreement. Natsu ripped Erza's hand off his mouth.
"Are you kidding! I am the strongest fire mage in the whole world!" Natsu yelled. One of the guards turned in their direction. Erza elbowed him in the stomach and he shut up quickly. After a few moments of silence, the guard walked back to his post. Juvia sighed.
"Juvia understands, but Natsu-san must be very careful. Totomaru has a special kind of magic called Pyrokinesis Ability, it allows him to control his appointments flames. Natsu-san should steer clear of him." Juvia warned.
"Continue." Erza said and Juvia pointed to a tall, bulky man with a green top hat and gauze wrapped around his eyes.
"That's Aria. He is the strongest of the Element Four. He uses Airspace Magic. There isn't anything else Juvia could tell you... Aria doesn't use his magic much... Really all Juvia could tell you is that Aria is very emotional." Juvia explained. "Gajeel-kun trained us all. He is the leader of the Element Four."
"But both of you guys are on our side now right?" Romeo asked Juvia and she nodded. "So can't Gajeel come over and tell them not to fight us?" Juvia shook her head.
"Gajeel-kun is injured, and there isn't a communication lacryma here." She answered peering at the guards.
Totomaru put his hand up to his ear and froze for a minute. Juvia peered through the darkness and watched her old team closely. Totomaru nodded and grabbed the rest of the Element Four and they walked inside the gates. Juvia's eyes widened.
"They left..." Gray said watching them disappear inside the castle. Juvia shook her head.
"No, Element Four went over this a while ago. It's our calling. They are hiding. If you run into one, you must fight..." Juvia said facing the Fairies again.
"Remember, focus on the main reason we are here. We are here to get Lucy. Don't take any other distractions." Erza ordered.
"Aye sir!" Happy yelled. Many more Aye's were heard from behind.
"Lets go save Lucy."
Levy sighed and stared at the big clump of iron lying on a bed beside her. "What's up with this guy? It's like he is made out of metal! He has piercings everywhere!" Levy tilted her head. Wouldn't it hurt to get all of those?" Gajeel's eyes opened quickly and he stared at her sternly, his red eyes boring into hers.
"You shouldn't stare lie that, it's creepy..." He mumbled re-positioning himself on the infirmary bed. Levy's rolled her eyes. She already knew this one was trouble, she could just tell. Why did Erza make her stay? She wanted to go and save her friend, but she got stuck with this jerk.
"What's up with all the piercings?" Levy asked scooting closer to him. He look back at her with a bored look.
"Why should I have to tell you?" He shot back at her, resting his head on his arm. Levy huffed.
"Well, I don't know! What are we supposed to do, just sit here in silence? I was just trying to pick up a conversation..." She pouted grabbing a book from the nearby nightstand and opening it to her bookmarked page. Gajeel laughed quietly.
"Oh, your one of those kids..." He murmured softly, leaning back against his pillow and closing his eyes. Levy shot him a cold glare and raised her eyebrow.
"Excuse me?" She slammed her book closed and crossed her arms. Gajeel smirked.
"You're a bookworm." He replied, his eyes still closed. Levy stomped her foot.
"You know nothing about me! And you could be a murderer for all I know! You have no right to-"
"Look Shrimp, I thought we were going to sit here in silence." Gajeel opened his eyes and licked his lips.
"Shrimp? Now you are calling me names? Just because I am short doesn't mean you can-" Levy was interrupted when Gajeel's hand shot out grabbed the back of her shirt, picker her up off the floor. Her feet dangled as she yanked on his hand.
"Let me down! Gajeel! Stop it! This isn't funny!" She whined swinging her feet around to try and kick him. Gajeel laughed.
"Actually, it sorta is."
"No! Gajeel! Stop! Uh!" She crossed her arms and stopped kicking. "Put me down." She demanded.
"Be quiet." He said back and they stared each other in the eyes for a second. Even if it was just for a second, it was enough to make both of them look away with a tinge of pink on their cheeks. Gajeel quickly set her down in her chair.
"Thank you." She said biting her lip and rubbing her cheeks to make the red go away.
"Grow taller Shrimp."
"Hey!"
Gray swung his hand back and forth, waving for the rest to follow. Their plan wasn't their usual. Normally they would charge in with fury and kick butt, but Erza convinced them to sneak in and avoid creating any destruction to the castle. Plus, they didn't want to have to re-live what happened 17 years ago.
Gray followed his icicles until they were in the main garden. Juvia tightened her ponytail and adjusted her mask. It felt good to be apart of something like this. A family. Even though it has only been a small amount of time since she has known them, she could feel that Fairy Tail was where she was meant to be.
"Alright everybody, its time to split up. We have to be careful, only fight if it is necessary. Stay in the shadows." Mira reminded them. Slowly, everybody began to swarm out and spread to different places around the castle. King Jose could be hiding Lucy anywhere, so it would make it a little harder to find her.
Suddenly, light shone everywhere, blinding the Fairies. Juvia shielded her eyes with her hand and stared in shock at what was happening.
"Everybody, stand back!" She shouted pushing several members away from the castle. The ground shook and the castle began rising into the air, legs sprouting out from the bottom. "It's the attack force!" Finally the ground stopped shaking and they all stood in horror at the massive figure towering over them.
"Hello Fairies..." A voice boomed from the dark castle. Juvia narrowed her eyes.
"Jose..."
"Welcome to Phantom Lord..." He sneered. "Since you are my guest, how about we play a little game?"
"Give us Lucy back!" Cana yelled angrily as she took a step towards the massive structure. Jose laughed.
"Oh, but that would be too easy..." The ground began to shake again as a huge metal cannon appeared from inside the castle. Juvia's gut wrenched and her heart sank. No... "Give me the princess, or say goodbye to your precious guild..." The cannon began to crank as it lowered and aimed it's target at Fairy Tail.
"We don't have your stupid princess!" Gray shouted and Juvia's heart rose up to her throat and seemed to stick there.
"I believe you do..."
"If you lay a hand on our guild-"
"Then you better start playing..." The Dark Lord laughed and the cannon started to grow. It was warming up for fire.
"Juvia, how do we stop that thing?" Erza asked trying to sound as calm as she could, but her voice quivered with every word. Juvia swallowed roughly.
"That is Phantom Lords Magical Convergent Cannon... We call it Jupiter... Juvia doesn't know how to stop it..." She whispered sadly as she looked at the gun in horror.
"30 seconds TO FIRE." Jose shouted. "Better hurry..."
Erza took off running in the direction of the guild. Gray and many of the others followed.
"Erza! Where are you going?" Gray shouted trying to catch up to his scarlet haired comrade. She came to a stop in front of the guild and glared at the cannon. 15 seconds to fire.
"I'm going to stop it." She stated. "Requip!" Erza was swallowed in a glow of light and when she returned a second later she was dressed in Adamantine Armor, one of her strongest.
"Erza-san! You won't be able to stop it!" Juvia yelled but Erza closed her eyes and made a huge shield appear in front of her. 5, 4, 3, 2, 1...
"BOOM!" The cannon fired and hit Erza's shield directly. She jerked backwards and Juvia screamed, covering her mouth. The fire seemed to continue for ages, every second it chipped away parts of Erza's armor.
"STOP!" Juvia screamed murderously and she collapsed on her knees, begging her father for mercy. Finally, Jupiter ran out of energy and stopped, just at the same time that Erza's armor broke off and she fell on the floor, completely out of energy. Jose laughed over the speaker.
"Well well, very good Titania. But, when this re-charges in about ten minutes, will you be prepared for another attack?" He laughed even harder. Erza glared up at him, it being a difficulty to even open her eyes.
"I also would like to see how well you will be able to handle these..." Suddenly, thousand of shadows shot out of the castle and headed towards the guild. Headed towards them.
The war had just begun.
Aaaaand, cliff hanger! Sorry, it's not as long, but I tried... And sorry for not updating in a while... I honestly keep getting writers block... And I was getting too lazy to do my research on the Phantom Lord Element Four... Ugh...
Well, hope you liked the chapter! If you are a little bit confused... Well, I kinda aimed it off the fight between Fairy Tail and Phantom Lord, but I had to change things... Like Gajeel and Juvia are good, and Lucy is already captured... And I forgot to destroy the guild... But, lets just say I am making up most of this...
