Hey guys!

I am so sorry for not updating in like a long time! PLEASE DON'T KILL ME! It has just been super crazy, what with finals going around and everything, and my producer is killing me with the song writing... Ugh, well SUMMER IS ALMOST HERE! So, I will definitely be finishing chapter sa lot quicker and stuff...

Anyway, hope you like this chapter! It tried to make it fluffy... I hope I did okay...

Ok! Enjoy!

Juvia cringed as she pried her eyes open. Every inch of her body felt sore and her head felt like it was going to explode. Once her eyes adjusted, she looked around at her surroundings. To her left was a huge window with light pouring in that blinded her, and to her right were a couple of beds and...

Gray.

She looked at him and he smiled, taking her hand and squeezing it softly. Juvia smiled back and him and sat up, Gray adjusting her pillow as she did so.

"Hi." She whispered, still looking around at the giant infirmary she was in. "Where is Juvia?"

Gray moved his thumb around her palm in circles and answered, "The Fairy Tail infirmary." Juvia tilted her head.

"Do they all know?" She asked, scared to know the answer.

"Yeah." Gray said, still massaging her hand. "But they don't care, and neither do I." Gray turned around and called out for Mira. She came running over with some sort of stamp. "So, what do you say? Wanna join Fairy Tail?"

Juvia's smile was as bright as the sun as she nodded. Mira walked over and Juvia told her that she wanted a dark blue mark on her her upper left leg. Juvia lifted the blanket and Mira placed the stamp on her leg, pushing the button on the top. When Mira backed away, Juvia stared at her mark with amazement. She touched it softly, admiring it's delicate designs.

"Thank you so much Mira-san!" Juvia exclaimed, getting up from her bed and hugging the white-haired mage. Mira laughed and hugged her back.

"Thank you Juvia for all your assistance. Everybody is so happy to have you here." Mira said as Juvia pulled away. Juvia wiped a tear that was falling down her cheek and nodded. "Now come and join the party! It's been going on for three days straight!"

Juvia looked at Gray. "Juvia has been unconscious for three days?" She asked and Gray shrugged.

"Yeah, it must have been because you haven't slept in a long time." He replied. "People were actually betting on when you would wake up..." Juvia laughed slightly as Gray grabbed some clothes nearby. "Here, change into these." He handed her the clothes and left the room, leaving Juvia standing there smiling like an idiot.

She quickly undressed from the ratty hospital like clothes she was currently wearing and put on the clothes Gray gave her. It was a dark blue dress that went practically all the way down to the floor, and the sleeves covered her arms. The dress fit her hourglass figure perfectly, and she smiled at the mirror as she admired the dress. A thought popped up in her mind, and she quickly grabbed some scissors and cut a long slit all the way up the dress so her insignia was showing. It was a little less modest than she was used to, but she was a member of Fairy Tail, and she wanted everybody to know.

She grabbed a brush by the table and combed the tangles out of her hair. Once she thought she looked presentable, she turned the doorknob and walked into the main room of the Guild. She almost had to plug her ears from the loud music, and cheers that were heard from all around as she walked to the bar. Everybody at one point ran up to greet her and tell her how happy they were that she joined the guild. Juvia was that happiest anybody has ever seen her.

"Juvia!" Wendy and Romeo excitedly ran over to her. "Thank you so much for all your help saving Lucy!" Romeo said, glancing in Lucy's direction. Juvia smiled brightly when she saw Lucy sitting next to Natsu, hand in hand. Natsu leaned over and gently pecked Lucy on the lips, making her blush a crimson red. Juvia looked back to Romeo and Wendy.

"No, thank you! You guys were so amazing and brave for fighting! And thank you Wendy for healing Juvia." She nodded gratefully at the two. They both said their thanks, and ran off somewhere in the guild. Juvia couldn't help but think about how much they were a cute couple.

"Oi, Juvia!" Gajeel ran over to her, and Juvia almost screamed in excitement when she saw the Fairy Tail emblem on his left shoulder.

"Gajeel-kun! Juvia is in Fairy Tail too!" Juvia turned to the side so he could see the mark on her leg. He smiled triumphantly.

"The old man came to me after the fight and offered me a spot. The little Shrimp gave a good word to him or something like that." He shrugged and Juvia could see a small blush forming on his cheeks.

"Are Gajeel-kun and Levy-san dating?" She asked, squeezing her hands together.

"I... Uh..."

"Gajeel!" Levy squealed dragging him away from Juvia. "Let's go dance!"

"Oi!"

Juvia giggled and watched everybody having the time of their lives. Romeo and Wendy were in the corner of the guild hanging out with the exceeds, and Juvia could see blushes forming on their cheeks every once in a while. Erza was with Jellal, a blue haired guard who used to work for Phantom Lord, and they were dancing slowly with Gajeel and Levy. Natsu and Lucy were talking to Lisanna and Cana. Every once in a while, Natsu would reach his arm around her or give her a kiss on the cheek, making Lisanna and Cana laugh at Lucy's embarrassment.

Juvia thought back. This night reminded her of the time she went with Lucy to the commoner party. She ordered a water and sat down, enjoying the sight of everybody having fun.

"Want to dance?" She turned her head to the familiar sound of Gray Fullbuster. He stood there in front of her, shirtless, as always, and his hand outstretched awaiting her approval. Juvia giggled and took his hand.

"Yes."

The two of them walked over to a small gap in the middle of the room and dance beside one another. Juvia swayed back and forth, bobbing her head to the music with a huge smile on her face. Gray stayed by her side the whole time, rarely taking his eyes off her. Suddenly, the music stopped and Mira stepped onto the stage holding the microphone to her lips.

"Alright everybody! Time to grab that special someone!" The music turned back on, but this time with a slow beat and rhythm. Juvia glanced at Gray and he smiled, pulling her body into his. Juvia bit her lip to keep from melting as he carefully placed his hands on her waist. She moved her hands up to his shoulders and looked up at him.

With their bodies pressed together, they felt warm. All the emptiness they both had suddenly was filled.

Gray gazed down at her with pure amazement. She was beautiful. He stared deep into her bright blue eyes longingly. She looked down at the floor, her cheeks flushing with embarrassment.

Gray smiled. There was something about her that made the ice in his heart melt and all the walls he had spent years building to shatter. Maybe it was the way she was so eager to help do what is right. Maybe its the way she would go out of her way to protect her friends. Maybe it was the way her eyes glimmered in the sunlight, or the way her smile can brighten anyone's day. Maybe, it was love.

"Juvia," Gray's heart raced with anticipation. She looked at him and smiled, waiting for him to finish. "Juvia... I think I lo-" Something crashed into Gray, sending him flying backwards. He groaned and sat up, glaring at the pink haired intruder. "Hey flame-brain! What the heck was that?!" He yelled, shoving into Natsu. Natsu adjusted the scarf around his neck.

"Hey ice-princess. Good to see you finally joined the party!"

Lucy walked over to Juvia and pulled her a couple steps backward. "Might want to step away, this could get ugly." Juvia stared at her with shock. The two boys began throwing punches and little pieces of fire and ice went flying everywhere.

"Are they always like this?" Juvia asked grabbing a piece of Lucy's shirt to hold onto. The Celestial Spirit Mage nodded, a giant smile on her face.

"Don't tell Natsu, but I think he is super hot when he fights like this." She grinned in her boyfriends direction, and Natsu gave her a little wink before getting punched in the face by an angry Gray. Juvia giggled and returned to her spot at the bar.

Gray wiped the blood away from his nose with a tissue and sat down next to Juvia. She giggled and pressed a wet cloth to the black bruise on his right eye. He winced and she pulled away quickly.

"Wendy!" Gray yelled and the bluenett came running over, Romeo hot on her tail. She placed her hands in front of his face and they began to glow, magic radiating out of them. All the little scrapes and bruises quickly began to fade until he looked as good as new. Gray thanked her and Romeo gave her a juice to fuel up on.

The two of them sat in silence for a while, neither quite sure what to do.

Finally, Gray's eyes lit up and he turned in her direction. "You wanna get out of here?" Juvia raised an eyebrow.

"Where would we go?" She asked, feeling butterflies take flight in her stomach. Gray bit his lip.

"Anywhere." He grabbed her hand and lead her outside. The breeze was cool, and bright stars lit up the darkened sky. There was nobody around, so the two of them walked through the damp streets, talking and laughing.

"Want to play a game?" She asked, and Gray nodded. "Juvia calls it questions. She would play it with her maids and guards at the castle. All we have to do is Juvia asks a question, and Gray-sama has to answer truthfully. And then Gray-sama asks the question, and Juvia has to answer." Gray laughed and turned on his heel so he was walking backwards and facing the bluenett. "Ok... Um... What is Gray-sama's favorite color?"

Gray smirked. "That's not a very good question." Juvia tilted her head, her smile fading a little out of confusion.

"Then what would Gray-sama consider a good question?"

"Something deep. Something that gets under the other person's skin..." He trailed off, turning back around and looking at the sky. Juvia bit her lip and thought for a while.

Finally she asked, "What is Gray-sama's biggest fear?" Gray tensed and Juvia knew she had struck a nerve. "Gray-sama doesn't have to answer..."

"No, its a part of the game. I'll answer." Juvia nodded. "When I was little, there was a monster, a demon, that attacked my village.. My family. They all died... The monster's name was Demon Deliora." Juvia looked at his sympathetically after he finished explaining.

"Is Deliora Gray's fear?" She asked as Gray tried to avoid eye-contact with her.

"I'm afraid I won't have the power to protect my friends and family, like I didn't when I was little." He said, finally bringing his eyes to meet Juvia. She gave him a small smile and gave his hand a little squeeze. She was going to pull away, but Gray held her hand in his firmly. She blushed and they continued walking.

After a while of walking and asking questions, the two arrived near Gray's apartment.

"Do you have a place to stay for the night?" Gray asked, and Juvia shook her head.

"No, but Mira-san offered Juvia a bed at the guild." She said gesturing her head to the building far behind them. Gray should his head continuously.

"Noooo, no way I am letting you stay there. You have no clue how pervy the guys are. You are staying here with me." He demanded, taking out his key and unlocking the door.

"But..." Juvia pouted. As much as she wanted to stay with Gray, she didn't feel right invading his private space like that.

"Juvia, I won't take no for an answer. You will stay with me until you can find yourself a place of your own." He said, and after a few second she gave up and nodded. Gray walked in and held open the door for her to enter.

"Thanks..." She mumbled under her breath. Gray's apartment was actually very nice. The walls were painted light and dark blue, making Juvia feel like she was in the water, and most of his furniture was white. When they reached the kitchen, Gray pulled out two glasses and poured them both some water. It was late and they didn't want to have a hangover in the morning.

Juvia took a sip of her water and stared at him from across the counter. His features were dark due to the lighting, but he still looked as memorizing as ever. "Where will Juvia sleep?" She asked, placing her glass on a napkin. Gray swallowed and waved his hand for her to follow him down the hall.

"My bed." He said and Juvia stopped dead in her tracks. His... Bed?

"But where will Gray-sama sleep?" She asked, her voice squeaky.

"On the couch."

"No! Juvia will sleep on the couch!" She argued, stepping away from the bedroom. Gray sighed.

"You're my guest. You have to sleep on the bed."

"Juvia is totally fine sleeping on Gray-sama's couch!" She pouted, crossing her arms over her chest. Gray stared at her with amusement, she obviously wasn't going to give up soon.

"Well would you rather I sleep in the bed with you?" He teased. Juvia's stomach knotted and she bit her lip. Gray smirked at her reaction.

"Y-yes..." She said under her breath. As much as she hated to admit it, she was scared. Scared that Jose was going to come back and hurt her. She needed Gray to protect her.

Almost as if reading her mind, Gray said, "Ok. Its a king so there will be plenty of room for the both of us."

"Ok, ok. Who's turn is it again?" Gray asked, clutching his stomach to keep from laughing again. Juvia had just attempted to twerk, and Gray would say that she failed epically.

"It's a question game Gray-sama. Not truth or dare..." She pouted sitting back on the bed and getting under the covers beside him. He laughed one more time, and she sighed, forgiving him. "It is Juvia's."

She thought for a moment. She really wanted to get something out of him. Something important.

"What it your deepest secret?" She asked, making Gray raise an eyebrow. "Juvia means.. Something you haven't told anyone. It doesn't have to be something bad, it could be a secret hobby or something... But it has to be something only Juvia knows."

Gray thought for a moment. He felt all of his insides turn to jelly, and he felt like he couldn't move. He knew exactly what he was going to say.

"I think I am in love with someone..." He said, looking into her eyes. Juvia felt her heart drop to the floor and she felt like she had just been hit by a truck. "I miss her when I'm not with her... When I'm not with her all I do is think about her... But when I think about her, all I want to do is be with her... And when I'm with her, it's like..." He trailed off, seeing the saddened expression in her eyes. "It's like every piece of my life just fell into place."

Juvia's eyes fell, but she tried her hardest to keep her composure. "Who?" She asked, her voice shaking. He was in love with someone else... Gray stared into her eyes, deep into her eyes, never wanting to break away. With his right hand, he brought it over to clutch hers.

"I am in love with a girl named Juvia Loxar."

Juvia's brain malfunctioned. What did he just say?

"She has beautiful blue hair, and the most amazing blue eyes I have ever seen. She just recently joined my guild, my family. She has water magic, and she would do anything to protect her friends."

Juvia's heart was thumping out of her chest, and her breath faltered.

"She snuck up on me.." Gray leaned in closer. "You snuck up on me."

Gray bent his head lower so their lips were right next to each other. She could feel his breath against her lips, and she stared at him with shock.

"I am in love with you, Juvia Loxar."

Finally, their lips met. At first Juvia was too startled to move, but finally she closed her eyes and kissed him back. Their lips moved in a slow rhythm together, until finally they pulled away in need for air. Juvia stared up at him. She had all she ever wanted. A guild, a family, a home... Gray...

"I love you too Gray Fullbuster."

The two of them fell asleep, side by side, hand in hand. Dreaming about what tonight will bring for them tomorrow, and forever.

Juvia yawned, her eyes fluttering open. She smiled, remembering the details of the night before. She sighed and moved her hand around to find his, but all she felt was an empty mattress. Juvia sat up and looked around.

Gray was nowhere in sight.

"Gray?" She asked, rubbing her eyes to help her wake up a little. She glanced at the clock, it was 7:30. Her heart stopped when she saw it.

The window was open.

She threw off the covers and darted down the halls, searching every inch of his apartment. There was no sign of Gray. Juvia bolted out the door, a gust of wind sweeping her hair in front of her face.

"Gray!"
