I kind of came off of a pretty long hiatus and I'm a little nervous. Comment if you like or I think I'm doing something wrong.

"Where is it? Where is it?" I dug through my closet, knocking clothes off hangers and knocking down shoes. Behind me lay an even worse mess, my drawers were pulled out and their contents scattered on the floor. I checked every pocket and corner, and inspected each inch of floor. It was nowhere to be found. Why? I was so close to breaking the spell.

"This is my fault." I breathed weakly, letting a tear escape. "My fault." At this point my breath was shaky and vision blurred. The curse was nearly expired, the only thing that kept this world from caving in was me and if I kept it up any longer I would die.

I slunk down the stairs and out my door with the hope that I wouldn't pass out while I drove. My pretend mother, Jean, was nowhere to be seen. She probably wasn't a real person so it made sense she would just disappear.

The road was coated in snow and the air was swarming with specks of white. The school, of course, was untouched by the winter atmosphere. Blue skies and fluffy clouds hung over the building. I trudged toward the spot that this would inevitably end at. The statue, why else was I always drawn there. It was there. He was there.

"Jinx! You finally came, I knew you would." Leo started. I ignored him and stumbled to the ground in front of the statue. "Jinx? What happened are you okay?" Leo asked a worried expression taking root on his face. "Who did this to you?" He trudged toward me feverishly. He already knew the answer. "Tell me! I'll kill them."

"Leo, the only way you can help me is by giving me the amulet. We have to end the spell." I coughed a dry wheezing breathe. My pale hands shook uncontrollably.

"What amulet? You mean your mothers? I don't have it." He dropped to a knee beside her and was blubbering like a child, as if he was the one dying.

"I was sure it was you." I blacked out.

. . .

"Violet! Wake up are you okay?" Kid Flash stood over me protectively and I heard yelling behind me. I heard fighting.

"They have their powers?" I asked straining to look over. Starfire threw green orbs at Leo, Beast Boy was human. Cyborg was there. And then a thought occurred to me. I don't have my powers I should of always had my powers but I didn't. I looked up into Wally's face realization all over mine.

"Give me the amulet."

"The what?" He asked.

"It's red and gold, shaped like an eye." I said hysterically. "You found it the night this happened. You were just coming into the city, that's why i dont know you. We really never met. You caught the amulet and it protected you when the curse hit!" I sat up feeling a little faint but energized somehow.

"This?" He asked pulling off the eye shaped necklace and placing it softly in my trembling hands. He had it the whole time. I wasn't drawn to this statue. I was drawn to him.

"Thank you." I stood up weakly and saw the scene of all the titans, reunited, struggling to defeat my cowardly ex-boyfriend. "Stop!" I called. "Leo you have to end this curse or I will die." All eyes were on me as I stumbled toward him. Raven held back cyborg who knew me as the bad guy.

"I don't know how." He stuttered truthfully.

"The same way you cast it." I placed a hand on his shoulder. "Once this is over no one will remember a thing." With this he tentatively closed his eyes and in his hand appeared a frozen rose.

"Like this?" he asked.

"Yes."

"I release this world." He gazed at me sadly then behind him a cloud of smoke appeared. I stepped back and let it embrace him then he was gone. When I turned around there was a wall of surprised titans.

"Wait I'm confused how did you do that?" Beast Boy, now an actual boy, asked.

I held up the amulet. "When he cast the spell he tried to use me as an anchor, it wouldn't have worked but he somehow bound the spell to me and this protective jewel that acted as a stimulant for the curse. It held it together for a while." I continues. "That's why I remembered but didn't have my powers. I didn't have the amulet when the smoke took me." I and Wally shared a knowing smile. "He couldn't reverse the curse until the anchor was whole, so I needed the necklace." I breathed a cold breathe when I saw Raven. "When the smoke takes you back to the real world you should forget all about this." I finished. Beast boy shook his head like he understood though he still looked confused.

"I don't want to forget." Raven said. She was looking at me with those eyes but she seemed relieved. She knew I was the anchor when I said I remembered all along. I should have known. That's what that face was she thought I was going to die.

"I don't want to be a villain." I smiled. "-too late." The smoke wrapped itself around her fingers and she began to cry.

"I'm so sorry." She fell to her knees as the smoke took her and she cried. "We were friends." The smoke took people one by one and reactions ranged from happy to scared to tearful goodbyes said as the cloud enveloped them.

"How can I leave you?" Wally asked from behind me.

"You can do it." I told him. "You've lived without me before."

"I don't want to do it again." He said making me cry. "I love you, and you don't want to be a villain." I wiped a tear off his cheek.

I held up the talisman. "If you think you can, take this. You'll retain your memories. Find me and make me love you." He took my hand in his and when he let go he had the amulet. The smoke was here now I felt it engulfing me. "Even if it gets hard. Even when you get lonely, because I will be so much more alone!" I yelled. "Even when I try to kill you even when there's no hope!" I said tears falling warm and constant down my cheeks.

"When you try and kill me?"

"Just don't forget. Because the girl you met here won't be the one you meet there for a long time." His lips touched my forehead and everything went dark.

"I'll never forget." His voice breathed against my skin.

. . .

"This is what I came for." Said a pink haired girl. She looked anxiously down at the amulet that was once hers. Even now she was drawn to it.

"Wait. Isn't that necklace supposed to bring good luck? And if you're all about the bad luck?" A skinny Cyclops guy remarked.

"It's just a dumb legend!" Jinx pushed him aside and walked away, necklace in hand. I smirked she was practically see through. She and her gang pushed through the doors ready to make their escape and that's when I made my appearance.

"Whoa did you see that!" I skirted around them a few times and took the familiar amulet out of her hands replacing it with a rose (of the unfrozen variety). I watched her stare shocked at the delicate plant, I wondered if she remembered. Then the alarm went off and she snapped out of it.

"Run!" She yelled. That's when I knew I would have my work cut out for me.

Somehow I didn't expect this to be the last chapter. I thought I could draw it out another chapter at least. Anyway this chapter was the most scary to write it lived in my head for the longest time and now that its written I'm actually shocked. Leave a review if anything still confuses you tell me and I may write one more chapter just to put everything to rest.
