The Fall Formal
The girls were at the clothing store as they were talking about how they got the Fall Formal set up in time, "I still can't believe we were able to pull that off." Fluttershy said in disbelief.
"Well, I can. Because we're awesome." Rainbow answered.
"All right, girls. We need to get ready. We need to look fabulous!" Rarity declared.
"Rarity's right. This is our big moment." Carol added.
"And Twilight's going to Dethrone Sunset Shimmer once and for all. Camille finished.

Soon everyone was dressed fabulously for the Fall Formal. Spike was looking at a mirror trying on fake mustaches while wearing a top hat and bow tie. Astral and Aang had their coats cleaned and brushed, "Looking good." Spike told them.
"So are you." Aang replied.
"This is it. Still I feel a bit uneasy." Astral admitted.
"I feel it as well but we had best get to the Fall Formal." Aang noted.
The Team headed to the School Via Limo for the Fall Formal. When the limo pulled up, the group piled out looking excited, "Let's head to the gym." Carol said.
The group all did as Carol said and headed to the gym which included Flash Sentry. Soon the dance was going on and they were enjoying themselves before Celestia spoke to make an announcement, "Once again I would like to thank every one of you for helping make all this possible. Despite setbacks you've all come together to help show your school spirit."
"Where's Sunset Shimmer, Rainbow Dash?" Camille asked.
"Probably too chicken to show because she knows Twilight's gonna win." she answered.
Celestia announced, "And now, without further ado, I'd like to announce the winner of this year's Fall Formal crown. The Princess of this year's Fall Formal is... Twilight Sparkle!" Everyone cheered, as Twilight went up on stage, and was crowned by the Principal, "Congratulations, Twilight."
Twilight spoke into the mic, "Thank you very much but can I have Carol and Camille up here by my side?" The Principal nodded, as Carol and Camille got on stage and stood by her side.
Before they could speak however they heard Spike call for help and saw Spike, Aang and Astral being kidnapped by Snips Snails and some Combat Kuros. '
"Spike! Aang! Astral!" Twilight called.
Twilight, Carol, Camille and the human Mane Five went after Snips Snails and the Combat Kuros. They ran outside and skidded to a halt seeing them standing by the portal back to Equestria.
"That's Close enough!" Sunset warned them. They saw Sunset grab a sledge hammer.
"Let them go!" Twilight ordered.
Dark Corvo and the Sinister Sisters appeared from the Shadows as a Shadow Liner was waiting, "Surrender the Crown to Sunset Shimmer or we destroy the Portal for good." Dark Corvo demanded.
"If your hurt Spike, Astral, or Aang!" Twilight warned them.
"Oh, I wouldn't dream of it. I'm not a monster... Let them go," Sunset ordered the two boys. Snips Snails and the Kuros let Spike, Astral, and Aang go, "Now the crown."
"No." Twilight answered firmly.
"What? Don't you even care I'm about to smash your only way back to Equestria?!" Sunset asked in outrage.
"Equestria can find a way to survive without the Element of Magic." Carol retorted.
"No matter what happens, you are not getting this crown!" Twilight declared.
Sunset then dropped the sledge hammer, "Fine you win."
"Twilight, you are so awesome!" Rainbow cheered.
"I can't believe you three were gonna do that for us." Applejack patted her on the back.
"It's no wonder you're a real princess Twilight and why Camille is a Dragon Rider and Carol is the Avatar." Rarity boasted for them.
Sunset started getting angrier and angrier at Twilight getting so much praise.
"It's no wonder why Carol and Camille said that Celestia made the right choice when she chose to make Twilight a Princess instead of Sunset Shimmer." Pinkie finished.
Suddenly Sunset Shimmer snapped, "Oh, yes, she's so very special!"
"Don't let her get away with this, Sunset Shimmer." Scarlett encouraged her.
Sunset then went charging at Twilight for the crown causing it to fall into the air and on the ground.
"Get the crown!" Twilight called to the others.
"No need to tell us twice." Aang went to get the crown.
Sapphire spoke to Snips and Snails, "Grab him, you fools!"
The two boys went to catch Aang who passed it off to Astral and then to Spike.
"Spike!" Rainbow called, as the dog tossed it to her, "Fluttershy." she tossed it to her.
When Fluttershy caught it she looked like a deer in headlights as everyone was running at her to grab the crown. Applejack reacted quickly and got a lasso out to pull Fluttershy away. They ended up crashing into each other upon missing.
Sage used her magic to catch the Crown and toss it to Sunset Shimmer, "Yes! It's finally mine!" She placed the crown upon her head. The Crown began to power up Sunset Shimmer. She was engulfed in a light and her body transformed into a demonic form. But before she fully transformed, Camille could notice the tears coming down from her eyes.
"What's up, Camille?" Carol asked.
"I thought she was crying before she transformed." she answered.
"Why would she be? She made it clear to all of us." Carol reminded her.
"She wants power and she's cruel and dishonest." Spike added.
"Maybe so, but maybe a side of her that still cares exists somewhere." Camille believed.
"Let's worry about that later." Astral replied.
"Alright, Sunset, you have the crown now remember your part of the bargain!" Scarlett reminded her.
"I do, but first I need to make a few changes." Sunset used the magic to transform Snips and Snails into demons like her.
"This is gonna be so cool!" Snips cheered.
"What bargain? What deal did you make with the Sinister Sisters, Sunset?" Carol demanded.
"They help me get the crown, and I use it's magic to take over Equestria. Then in return I aid them in conquering the other lands as well. Starting with Sodor." she explained.
"Sodor?" Rarity asked, "What does Sodor have to do with all this? And why start there?"
Sunset answered, "I've learned the magic has started spreading throughout there as well. And I will help the sisters conquer it. With my teenage army." She used the magic to brainwash the teenagers into zombies, before they started turning into demons themselves.
"Snips, Snails, round them up and bring them to the portal. Dark Corvo! Have the Shadow Liner ready." Sapphire called.
"Time to finish off Twilight once and for all." Sage declared.
"No you will not." Twilight stood tough.
"You still don't get it, Twilight! I have the crown! I have the magic! You have nothing!" Sunset bellowed.
"She has us!" Rainbow declared. The Human Mane Five stood together with Twilight.
"Enough of this. Combat Kuros get them!" Scarlett ordered. The minions went to attack.
Carol, Camille, Twilight and the Human Mane Five began to fight them off and while they did defeated them the minions wore them down.
"Now it's time to finish you off for good." Sunset then fired a powerful blast of magic at the eight intending to finish them off.
"NO!" Spike cried.
The magical blast instead of harming them combined with the eight forming a protective aura around them and it also caused Carol and Camille's wings to emerge.
"What?!" Scarlett gasped.
"Impossible!" Sapphire cried.
"But it is possible." Carol replied.
"Tell them, Twilight!" Camille said.
Twilight explained, "My crown may be on Sunset Shimmer's head. But I have a magic more powerful than what it has. I have the magic of Friendship!"
As if to drive that point home the magic in the crown began to give Twilight and the Human Mane Five enough power to transform. They gained pony ears, and their hair styles extended into long ponytails.
"No what's happening?" Sunset Shimmer gasped.
Some of the girls even gained wings and they hovered together forming a heart.
"Consider this a message, Sunset Shimmer." Carol began.
"And let the Magic of Friendship open your eyes." Camille declared.
"Friendship is magic!" Twilight finished. They sent a rainbow beam that engulfed Sunset Shimmer knocking the crown off her head. The Rainbow Beam also freed the teenagers and turned Snips and Snails back to normal.
When the light died down the girls were lying on the ground slowly waking up. Spike went to Twilight and licked her face twice. Twilight woke up, and sat up looking ok. She looked down seeing her number one assistant. She smiled and held her arms out wanting him to come to her. Obliging by her request, Spike jumped into her arms, as she cuddled with him.
Aang and Astral then nuzzled Carol and Camille respectively seeing they were alright before they turned to see a huge hole in the ground and in it was a defeated Sunset Shimmer.
"You will never rule Equestria or here. Any power you had in this world is gone. Tonight you've shown everyone what is in your heart." Twilight declared.
"And now you owe us some answers. Like why you made that deal with the Sinister Sisters?" Carol demanded.
Sunset looked up at them with actual tears in her eyes, "I-I'm sorry. I'm so sorry. I didn't know of any other way."
"There is another way, Sunset," Camille began, "We can help you but only if you're willing to accept not just my friendship but the friendship of Carol and Twilight."
Sunset cried, "But all I've ever done since being here is drive everyone apart. I don't know the first thing about friendship." Twilight helped her out of the hole.
"I bet they can teach you." Carol pointed to the Human Main Five, "And so can we." she motioned to Twilight, Camille, and herself.
"Those are our girls, yeah!" Spike cheered.
"Wonderful." Aang applauded.
"Well, done!" Astral congratulated them.
The students hearing them were surprised, as a boy asked, "Did those dogs just talk? Weird."
Spike looked in disbelief, "Seriously? The talking dogs are the weird thing about all this?!"
Rarity picked Spike up, "I for one think you're adorable!" She began scratching behind Spike's ear.
"Oh, yeah!" Spike said in enjoyment.
Celestia who held the crown approached Twilight, "I believe this belongs to you. A true princess in any world leads not by forcing others to bow before her, but by inspiring others to stand with her," she crowned Twilight again, "We have all seen that you are capable of just that. I hope you see it too, Princess Twilight."
"I do." she answered.
"Hey aren't we supposed to be having a dance folks?" Carol asked, and everyone cheered.
Flash spoke, "So would now be an awkward time to ask for a dance?" Twilight giggled and accepted. Soon everyone was back in the gym partying.

The Mane Five giggled as did Carol and Camille who stood with Twilight preparing to leave, "You'll look out for her won't you?" Twilight asked.
"Of course we will, darling. Although I expect some sort of apology for last Spring's debacle." Rarity answered.
Camille spoke, "Something tells me she'll be handing out a lot of apologies but first." Camille then used her own magic to repair the damage done by Sunset Shimmer to the School.
"What? But I was supposed too..." Sunset was cut off.
"It's better we don't question these things, alright? And besides I think we have bigger issues to worry about. Like where the heck Dark Corvo and the Sinister Sisters vanished to."
The gang saw that Dark Corvo and the Sinister Sisters had indeed vanished, "They abandoned me." Sunset sighed.
Carol spoke, "No big surprise since they saw the deal you made with them went sour. But answer this what would conquering Equestria and Sodor have accomplished?"
"I just wanted to be respected to be loved." Sunset answered.
"Respect has to be earned not forced." Camille began, as she told Sunset Shimmer about her days of working for the Forces of Darkness and how she was able to reform.
"Can I really change like you could?" Sunset asked.
"It's possible. I can be your mentor but only if you'll let me."
"I want to be better. Please, help me." Sunset pleaded.
"I accept. But tell me did you have a way to keep in contact with Celestia when you were her old student?"
"Actually, yes." Sunset answered.
"Can you hurry and go get it?" Sunset went into the school and came back out holding a book with her cutie mark image on it, "So how does it work?" Camille asked.
"I write a message in here, and it appears in another book owned by Princess Celestia in Equestria."
"Alright I accept. Please take care of yourself Sunset and the Mane Five."
"And to the Mane Five take care of Sunset Shimmer yourselves and each other." Carol said.
Carol, Camille, and Twilight returned through the Portal with Aang, Astral, and Spike following. The Five lost their pony features, and Pinkie ran to the portal but crashed realizing it closed, "Oh, bummer." Sunset then took the chance to write a message to Camille to see if it worked.
Carol, Camille, and Twilight returned to the Crystal Empire with Twilight and the Dragons returning to normal.
"It's so great to return to my dragon form." Aang said.
"I'll say. Though, I'll miss the ear scratches." Spike admitted.
Quintessa and the others came up.
"Guys, welcome back," Azula greeted them, "By the way I brought a book with Sunset's Cutie Mark on it and it's glowing. It has a message for you in it."
They looked at the page glowing, "It's a message from Sunset Shimmer." Camille said.
"What does the message say?" Quintessa asked.
"Seems Sunset has taken the first step in the journey of a thousand miles." Camille explained.
"Thank goodness." Princess Celestia sighed in relief.
"I don't understand." Fluttershy said.
"Yeah, journey of a thousand miles?" Rainbow asked.
"It means that Sunset is taking the first step in understanding the magic of friendship." Carol explained.
"I know she'll be just fine." Twilight added.
"But I get the feeling that this isn't over." Astral feared.
"Like it ever is?" Spike asked rhetorically. The others nodded as they knew Astral was right.
In the Castle Terminal the sinister sisters were giving Mindy their report, "So explain what happened in the other world." Mindy said.
"Well, things were all going according to plan." Scarlett began.
"Then Twilight drew power from her element of harmony and she and the girls of the other world united and defeated Sunset Shimmer." Sage added.
"Anything else you forgot to mention?" Mindy asked. The sisters looked at each other nervously, "I'm waiting."
Scarlett shoved Sage over, "You tell her!"
"No, Sapphire, you tell her!" Sage ordered.
"You tell her, Scarlett!"
"Tell me what? This wouldn't happen to involve the Shadow Line would it?" Mindy asked.
"Sunset let it slip out about what we were going to use the Shadow Line for!" Scarlett explained.
"Which was?" Mindy asked.
"That we were going to take the brainwashed teenagers to the other places like Sodor to take them over as well as Equestria." Sage answered.
"Technically she was going to take them through the Portal." Sapphire corrected her.
Mindy sighed somewhat annoyed, "Alright I'll let it go since Sunset's plan didn't work. There are some people I want you to meet. Dark Corvo. Bring in the Sirens from Equestria," A door opened and flying in were the sirens who assumed their human forms, "Scarlett, Sapphire, Sage meet the Sirens. Sirens, meet the Sinister Sisters. Why don't you introduce yourselves to each other so as we can get on a first name basis."
"I'm Adagio Dazzle."
"Aria Blaze."
"And I'm Sonata Dusk."
"A pleasure. My name's Scarlett."
"Name's Sage."
"And I'm Sapphire."
"And I'm Mindy. So now that we're on a first name basis we need to talk about what we're going to do next."
"Lunch?!" Sonata asked hopefully.
Sage was about to object but rumbling stomachs from the seven girls all said otherwise.
"Fine." Adagio sighed.
"Today is Taco day." Mindy said. Sonata cheered as the girls began eating Tacos in preparation for the next plan to conquer the world.
