Hi guys! This is going to be a very quick extra I decided to write in a spur of the moment due to the recent reviews. I was dying of delightful happiness and HAD to post something for any of you who are keeping tabs on the story. This is dedicated to those of you who have reviewed. Your comments pressure me (in a good way) to WANT to write even when I'm lacking creativity or ideas. So thank you :)

sauskaepanda- No need to worry about sounding wierd...I love your reviews no matter what you have to say. Its very good to hear from you time after time :p Its a good thing I would NEVER make you wait a kajilion years ;) BTW this chapter is for you too!

PS. Like I said, this will be short. And sweet. Enjoy :)

This is Lucy's dream during her night time hospital stay:

Peaceful. If this place was anything, it was peaceful. I felt safe; hidden from danger and oblivious to what waited outside.

I was completely alone on the stretch of road that lasted an eternity. On either side of the road there was a mass of trees. Their trunks were covered in vibrant green vines and moss. Above, the fully leaved branches caressed each other in an interlaced embrace that reached for the sky. I sighed and then smiled. Peaceful and beautiful.

For hours I walked without a care, aimlessly along the road, frequently stopping to touch and feel the cool moss among the tree trunks. I'd run my fingers along the leaves reaching down towards me and once, I stopped to clamber up a tree. I laughed as I ascended higher and higher. I looked down and the road was growing smaller with every brach I climbed. But then I lost my grip and I felt my sharp intake of breath.

A bloody, tangled scream raked down my throat tearing it apart leaving it bloodied and mangled. The fall lasted a lifetime and my fear grew to impossible heights. Something inside me became torn and I felt myself reach out for something, no, someone.

And then my fall was cut short. I was in the arms of the boy.

"Lucy?" his eyes were wide and his breath was short and raspy. Gently, he let me down from his grip and blinked at me. Then his grey eyes searched around us, surveying the woods and road."What in the hell- where are we? What are you doing here?"

I remembered him now. He was in the hospital with me earlier. His name? What was this beautiful boy's name? It was in the back of my mind...I couldn't remember.

"Nicholas!" I laughed and grinned. "I remember now. Nicky, you caught me!"

Glancing back at me Nicholas' expression wasn't happy at all. In fact, he looked angry even. Nicholas shut his eyes and ran his hands through his hair.

I grabbed his arm and whispered, "What's wrong?"

"You aren't really here, you know." Nicholas sighed and pulled his arm away from my grasp. "I'm not either. You're just a figment of my imagination, a beautiful, fragile piece of my imagination."

"Fragile, huh. Really, now? Well imagine this, you jerk!" I punched his nose. He groaned and grabbed his face staring at me wide eyed again. I continued to hit his chest, repeatedly hitting him with my fists. For reasons I couldn't explain, hot tears were spilling onto my cheeks.

Nicholas just stared at me with those damned grey eyes while I hit him. Eventually he grabbed my shoulders tightly and shook. His face bent closer to mine and he shook me some more. "Stop it Lucy, goddamnit." I panicked.

"Nicholas, there's something wrong with me. I can't remember anything. It's like trying to hold an ocean's worth of water in your hands; it just keeps slipping out of my hands. I can't hold it." I told him quickly. I was so confused. All these emotions: happiness, sadness, anger and I couldn't control them.

"I'm not dreaming am I, Lucy?" He shook his head, as if he was disoriented. "Well, shit." he breathed.

I remembered and then my memories slipped away. It was an exhausting pattern and I winced as I felt a headache coming on.

Nicholas was still holding my upper arms tightly and he realized this at the exact moment I did. He loosened his grip and took a step back but then hesitated.

"Aw, what the hell." Nicholas said as he took two quick steps forward. His hands cupped my face sweetly and his thumbs caressed my cheekbones. Resting his forehead on mine he took a deep breath and kissed the top of my head.

While I could still hold on to my memory, I hugged him back tightly. He loosened his grip once again but this time his knuckles tipped my face towards his. Nicholas leaned down an inch and I stood on my tiptoes to meet him halfway, eyes closed. At first he kissed me gently. It was a sweet and sad kiss, nothing short of perfect.

But I was already slipping away again. We both knew it and we both didn't care. Our kiss grew more urgent and I clung to him, my arms around his neck. He layed his forehead on mine once more and then kissed me once. And the twice.

"Nicholas" I whispered against his lips. "I wish I could stay. I'm so sorry but-"

"Shh. It's okay. I'll find you again, I promise."

"Goodbye, Nicky."

"Goodbye, Lucky."

I hoped you liked this extremely short chapter and this cute little scene I decided to mix into the pot. I'll probably end up adding more dream-like scenes. Anyway, thanks for reading!

P.S. The scenery I was trying to describe at the beginning of the chapter is an actual place! It's called the Dark Hedges of Ireland. Beauty in its purest form. (/.\)
