Chapter 8:

This chapter is so long because I thought I should be a little more detailed in this chapter. Thanks for the reviews and enjoy what else is to come! WOOT WOOT!

No one got a lick of sleep. They decided to try calling hospitals to see if she was there. No luck whatsoever.

"Well it's good she's not at a hospital hurt.", Aria said.

"She could be hurt in a fucking ditch somewhere because of me! I hurt her and I wasn't trying to now we are both paying for it."

"DONT THINK LIKE THAT!", Spencer said abruptly.

"Yeah Han, we have to keep thinking positive we can't lose someone else that close to us, we just can't.", Aria added.

Everyone was very gloomy that morning. Spencer and Aria felt the need to get upset because these girls are their best-friends and they don't want them going through this. Or at least going through something they couldn't fix. They were beginning to call Emily again, she still wasn't answering. It worried everyone and upset them at the same time. She could've at least called and let someone know she was okay.

-back with Emily-

Emily had just awakened from the sunlight through the cracked blinds beaming in her face. When she woke up she had the worst feeling ever. She felt like she had just encountered the worst hangover ever, except she hadn't been drinking. Her head was pounding, her heart was hurting, and her body was sore. She felt empty and alone. A part of Emily wished she had stayed to find out the truth, but the other part of her was to upset to even look at the people involved. She got off the comfy couch and lingered her way through the boathouse to take a nice steaming hot shower. The water poured down her body, and it relaxed her tense muscles. It was a major relief. She was somewhat stress free then she thought about Hanna, and when she thought about Hanna she thought about the kiss. She began to cry and sink down in the tub. The sobs got louder she let all of her frustration out since no one else was around to contain it. She calmed herself down, washed off, go out the tub and got dressed. She had to get something to snack on cause she hadn't eaten since the day before the "accidental kiss". There's no restaurants near the boat house which meant she had to go out in the city to get something. But she still didn't want to be found, so she had to be very careful about no one seeing her.

-back with other girls-

"We have to eat guys, I'm going to get us a small meal from The Brew.", Spencer said tiredly.

"You can't go by yourself, we can't have you gone also.", Aria said as glanced at Hanna after she said it and mouthed a sorry.

"Guys I'll be fine it's not that far I'll be back soon just don't let Hanna out of your sight!"

"Alright", Aria said and Hanna just looked disgusted.

With that being said she headed to the brew as she parked she saw a figure that looked like Emily, getting out of car that looked like Emily's. The figure was hooded so Spencer couldn't tell if it was her friend or not Spencer ducked in the front seat. Emily looked as she jogged across the street. Spencer got a glimpse of the face and went and hid on the passengers side of Emily's car crouched down on the ground.

Spencer heard footsteps running towards the car. The locks popped on the car and as soon as the drivers door opened so did the passenger door. Spencer hopped in and Emily screamed and almost dropped her food.

"WHAT THE HELL ARE DOING TRYING TO GIVE ME A HEART ATTACK?!"

"Were you trying to give US a heart attack when you went M.I.A. We were fucking worried sick about you and you didn't even care. The least you could've did was text me or Aria letting one of us know you were okay. I understand what you're going through but you don't have to shut us out, we're your best friends too and I'm sure you needed someone in your corner." Tears began to roll out of Spencer's eyes, as she fired the anger she had built up. "We were the ones there last night with trying to pick up the pieces and trying to find you to make sure you weren't somewhere dead in a ditch. WE CALLED EVERYONE LOOKING FOR YOU! WE SEARCHED EVERYWHERE LOOKING FOR YOU. But what do you care?" Spencer finally finished her rant she opened the door to leave wiping her tears away, but Emily grabbed her arm and pulled her back in the car.

"Wait Spence, I'm so sorry I didn't think about how it would affect you guys. I just wanted to get away I was so hurt and broken up I didn't know what to do. You're right I should've let someone know my whereabouts or how I was doing. I'm truly sorry."

Emily finished so broken, her eyes were already red and puffy and then she began to cry in the process of talking to Spencer. Then Spencer began to feel guilt for yelling at someone who she knew was hurting. She knew she shouldn't have said those things and acted the way she acted towards someone who didn't have anyone to turn to at her time of need. Both girls just stared at each other; Spencer was thinking and Emily was waiting on Spencer to say something.

" I'm sorry Emily I shouldn't have yelled at you like this I know you're upset, and I shouldn't have let my anger out on you the way I did. You have every right to be mad but you know you can talk to us about anything."

"Yeah i know i just wasn't thinking; when I saw what happened I just couldn't handle it."

Then Spencer's phone began to ring and she answered.

"Hello?"

"Spence, Han and I are on our way to The Brew. We thought it would be good for some fresh air, plus we were worried about you."

"Okay that's fine I'll just wait inside then."

Aria said ok and the call ended.

"They are on their way here and I know you don't want to see Hanna right now, but at least let me find you later so we can talk. Please?"

"Okay I'll text you where I will be and you meet me there."

"Alright that will do see you later."

Spencer got out and closed the door then Emily rolled down the window and said " thank you Spence". Spencer just smiled and nodded and headed inside to wait on the others.

When they got they're they wanted to know why it took Spencer so long to get there. Spencer decided to lie and say someone from the swim team had asked did they find Emily that's all. Hanna was very silent and she just looked depressed. Then Hanna's phone rang she hoped for it to be Emily, but instead it was her mother.

"Hello?"

"Hanna where are you?"

"The Brew getting a snack with the girls. Why?"

"Can you come home as soon as you're done?"

"Uh sure, ill be there soon."

Hanna had a confused look on her face she couldn't tell if her mom was upset about something or not. She just hoped the news wasn't about Emily.

"We have to go my house my mom wants to see me real quick."

They paid and started to leave. Then Spencer pulled Aria to the side "I have something to go take care of real quick ill text you."

"Umm okay ill stay with her."

Spencer jogged to her car and sped off. She finally got the text from Emily telling where she was. She knew the address and just laughed.

-Back with Hanna-

She and Aria rushed back to the house. She really didn't want anymore bad news, but she wanted to make sure her mother wasn't hurt. Aria and Hanna made the plan for Aria to listen from upstairs to see what was going on.

They made their way in the house and Ashley was sitting on the couch drinking wine early in the day. Aria said hi ran up stairs closed the door and quietly ran back to the top of the stairs to listen to the conversation. Ashley took a sip of her wine once more and began to talk.

"So I got an interesting text message today why don't you check it out."

Hanna took the phone and looked at it very shocked. What she saw was pictures of her and Emily kissing and grabbing each other on the Marin kitchen counter. That's the day Ashley almost caught them. Hanna sat there and her mouth dropped.

"I thought we were better than that Hanna?"

"Excuse me?"

"I thought we told each other everything and you decided to leave this out?"

"It just happened we wanted to find the right way to tell you, but things got in the way."

"What things got in the way? Like the person that sent this to me? What else are you hiding from me Hanna?"

"I'm not hiding anything really, and she left me. She saw Caleb kiss me and she left me."

Those words broke everyone's heart, because they came out so sad like. Hanna was already crying, then her mother began to cry which made her a lot more sympathetic, and even Aria was crying from her little hiding spot. Her mom moved over to comfort her and eventually Aria let her self be known and she came down to comfort her friend too.

Whats going to go wrong next? These girls can never catch a break.
