Okay I'm still going with this yeah! I feel like I'm running a marathon just keep going one foot (or sentance) at a time. Now I forget to mention that this story will only go on a basic guideline of Kalido Star if I wanted it to be the same I might as well watch the episodes and pretend Jack was Sora, I tried to make this diffrent but the beggining was hard to do so this is a bit (Manny 1, 2 and 3) are a prologue before the really thing starts and when it comes to the actual manouvers sorry if my information is bad I've never been to a real circus and using both Kalido star and Internet for the stunts so if anything is wrong I apologise in advance.
"A t-talking doll!?" Jack gasped eyes wide as the doll in question only looked up at him blinking slowly before a smile appeared on it's eerie face, "Ah so you can see me, I had an inkling you would be the One, boy," Jack blinked dumbly scrambling back from the floor staring at the strange person in front of him.
"I," the apparition spoke "Am the spirit of the stage, Tsar Lunar," he smiled kindly eyes closed in a cheerful way it would of seemed warm and kind but at the some time there was something off about the little man...
"But you can call me Manny," Jack pulled a face leaning back "how do you get 'Manny' from Tsar-"
"That's irrelevant," he cut in proudly acting like one of those posh tots at fancy parties "I didn't get your name boy?" Manny asked eyes opening to look him up and down, Jack stared "Jack Frost," the spirit looked pleased "Ah Jackson,"
"Jack." Manny ignored him continuing with his speech
"If you can see me then it means you have been chosen for the stage," he continued unaware of Jack coming towards him slowly
"and together you and I will go on a journey to conquest-" Jack reached out suddenly capturing the little man Manny started to protest "Hey! How dare you treat the spirit of the stage like this!" He yelled struggling in jacks palm
"I don't have time for hallucinations," Jack deadpanned opening his cupboard door to toss the 'spirit of the stage' into, Manny wasn't having it he struggled and protested for all his worth,
"Unhand me you fool! Put. Me. Down!" Jack tossed him in slamming the door shut "Sure. " Jack turned around and started stretching "today was pretty weird no wonder I'm hallucinating…" he brought his arms up grabbing the elbows and pulling slightly before relaxing
"Tomorrow I have lessons..." He looked out the balcony and saw the stage nerves and excitement running through him and he looked at the stage with determination "I have to try harder than anyone. I'm not out of the red yet," he sighed, today he got lucky he wont have any more second chances. he turned to his suitcase and started unpacking placed his photo albums on the desk where he could see them, He smiled sadly this was the reason he was here in the first place. after he'd unpacked he set an alarm before climbing into bed.
Manny sat watching the boy smiling eagerly "This boy is different from the rest…" he thought placing a hand to his chin "…Maybe he won't die like the others..."
North was shuffling through papers and making erratic notes for the next production and putting in calenders for meetings and deadlines, his head was full to the brim with ideas and it filled him with childish glee, he couldnt wait to get started on the new show,
A knock on the door brought him out of his thoughts and as he looked up seeing Bunny walk through the door he smiled in surprise "Bunny," he greeted standing up "what a pleasant surprise, is there something wrong?" He asked seeing Bunny's expression he saw him cross his arms an irritated scowl already on his face,
"North what the hell were you thinking letting an inexperienced boy stay here?" North sighed but smiled without mirth "Blunt as always Bunny," he stood up and walked to the window the sky had darkened earlier making it pitch black but alight with the glow of Manny's stage making it a beacon for all to see, North's and Bunny's image reflected on the glass "Jack has something special. And people will come from all over the world to only come to watch him perform," his Russian accent thick Bunny's eyes narrowed dangerously in envy North turned to see Bunny's face grinning "I feel it. In my belly," Bunny sighed "North, isn't he a bit too young?" He asked North laughed irritating Bunny further "You and Tooth were not that young yourself when you worked for MiM's stage," Bunny instead turned away in embarrassment North sighed sorrowfully, "I remember it like yesterday, where did that cute little clown-"
"Don't even go there," Bunny growled earning a scoff from the Russian which irritated him further "Bunny you've matured a lot since then and…" He sobered up smiling sadly at his companion thinking back when Aster was a kid, and he thought of Ethan and how it was unfair that Aster lost a father at a young age.
"...I bet...he'll be as proud of you as I am." Bunny's eyes widened in surprise completely caught of guard he coughed turning away feeling the ball of emotion caught in his throat but he pushed it down and pressed his lips together "I…thanks." North patted him on the back in comfort "it's getting late, you should head home and rest, yes?" Bunny smiled "yeah," just as he left he lingered a bit "Goodnight North," he closed the door behind him North watched him his expression serious and he missed the Russians next words.
"Goodnight son."
Jack ran across the stage, mop in hand cleaning like a mad man he was going to give it his all today no question about it!
"Jack can you do my chores? I need to practice-" a performer asked smirking "Sure," they blinked in confusion as Jack grabbed there mop and already having sponges tied on his feet he was skating across the stage moping and scrubbing the other's watched warily,
Jack didn't really paying attention to the performers all the insults and jabs passing over his head, he never really paid attention to that stuff he saw over the years bully's getting their way and it's not the jabs or the insults that hurt you. It's the bitterness inside when you stop seeing the world as it is and seeing the bad in people rather than the good becoming bitter was a victory to any bully and Jack tried not to stepping forward everyday with a smile and years of being insulted naturally he was oblivious to the performers hell he thought they were being friendly!
They all watched the strange boy cleaning like crazy and soon he was finished , Jack sighed and wiped sweat from his brow cleaning made it so much easier to think he left the stage and decided to have breakfast since he finished earlier he decided to kill some time and finishing his breakfast he decided to go sightseeing...only to get lost. Again.
He finally made it towards the corridors leading him to the classrooms. Two staff members were walking his way he smiled at them politely but Rapunzel, he saw on the name tag frowned
"Aren't you supposed to be in lessons?" She asked Jacks smile faded a bit "what?"
"There starting right now," Hiccup said jerking his thumb towards the direction he came from Jack cried out and started running in the direction Hiccup pointed in "Dammit!" he sprinted "Great now I'm really late!" He yelled when Rapunzel and Hiccup watched before they both grinned and turned to each over "What a bundle of energy..." the said in usion.
When Jack neared the classroom he slammed the door open. Subtle very subtle Jack...and everyone turned as well as the instructor, Jack who was usually pale looked tanned from blushing embarrassment
"S-sorry I'm late!" He called the instructor's eyes narrowed "shouldn't you be working on that since you were late for the AUDITIONS!?" Jack winced ouch low blow "I'm sorry won't happen again," he promised when he stepped in line with everyone else he wasnt sure if he was being paranoid but he felt like he was being glared at.
"Now in a performance acrobatics can only take you so far to strike a graceful pose one has to master the arts…"
Jack pretty much zoned out after that until the lecturer shouted a command and everyone in a line performed some sort of ballerina twirl Jack felt stupid but went forward twirling only to fall flat on his face,
The laughing didn't help but all he could do was wince "whoops…" the lecturer glared
"Boy, do you have Any ballet experience?" He asked irritated Jack opened his mouth a finger point and closed it again frowning "um...I went figure skating if that counts," the lecturer sighed practically face-palming.
"They are both similier but not completely the same," he walked away and Jack sighed standing out out of peoples way as they performed the move effortlessly Jack pouted in envy and leaned against the wall watching them,
Two boys came up to him they had chocolate colored skin and brown eyes one of them wore a hat indoors? while the other had an perfect Afro they looked identical sorta and the one thing they had in common right now was frowning "I can't believe your in MiMs stage and you can't even do a simple turn," Jack scowled hating the arrogant tone the Afro was using
"I'm not a prancing pixie who can get the moves down on the first try," he protested Jack was oblivious but he wasn't stupid, suddenly two other both appeared one looking like a pig and Tuffnut who he accidentally replaced on stage appeared.
That's nice being ganged up on the first day, didn't he feel special?
"It must be so easy getting your way here through the boss?" pig face said Jack blinked,
Huh?
"Everyone here worked hard and put out all the stops just to even have a glimpse of this place," He continued ignoring the glare Jack was sending him, Jack was pretty taller than him but the pig looked stronger though nothing he couldn't handle but better safe than sorry
"And what did you do? Nothing. you can't do anything right Frost." Jack eye's widened at the blow but glared at the floor instead he didn't even have the strength to retort because a numb feeling overcame him Their right though... He felt
"You tell em Snotlout," his friend snickered and others were laughing too but not the fun laughs he were used to these were cruel and for a minute he couldn't help but think 'This is the really Manny's Stage?' they all looked dark and cruel and selfish and their tuants were only making it worse, He grit his teeth clenching his hands into fists and was shaking from anger "Thats right I can't even do the simpleset turn but one day I would perform hard moves and stunts like Bunnymund," one of the twins gasped
"Bunny!? Like the Rivaling Pooka!?" Caleb gasped Jacks eyes widened "What? No I-"
"Oh so mister hotshot thinks its easy?" oh yeah that was ruffnut…who he accidentally took his place on stage. Double whoops,
"So ya think the Rivaling Pooka is a piece O cake?" A strong thick Australian accent echoed in the gym silencing all in its wake all the performers stopped and all heads turned towards the entrance where Toothinia stood shocked with a smug looking Bunnymund,
Jack if possible paled and felt his stomach do somersaults, Bunny held his challenging look grinning and Jack knew he was in for it.
"If you think its that easy why don't ya perform it for us." Jack felt like he should apologies, take it back but instead his eyes narrowed in determination "No, I don't think the Riveling Pooka is that easy." Bunny raised an eyebrow even tooth looked at him in confusion
"But it may not be that hard either, I'm going to try to perform the Riveling Pooka." Everyone froze even Bunny looked shocked and Tooth pressed her lips together her eyes flickering back to Bunny then Jack but bunny recovered
"Ya on frost, I'll give you one week but," he said smiling mirthlessly "If you fail you will leave the program and your contract terminated."
"Fine." Jack said without skipping a beat Bunny was a bit thrown off at the boys enthusiasm but turned he placed his arm around Tooth "Come on Tooth, lets get practicing," he spoke differently with Tooth than he did anyone else but Jack didn't dwell on it, He had something to do when class was over Jack grabbed his things and walked determined there was a staff member he had to find...
"Perform the Riveling Pooka? Are you crazy!?" Jacks blinked dumbly fearing for his poor ear drums and he raised his eyebrow to the girl and gave her a look that said yeah, and?
Rapunzal sighed setting down her pastel for what Jack saw she had a talent for backgrounds, "Your lucky we have copies for that move. I'll be right back," she strode away and Jack stood there awkwardly his decision finally sinking in, he was scared yes but he didn't regret it he had to prove himself and this was his chance to do it.
"Hello? Jackie?" Jack blinked and realised she returned with the video in hand and looking concerned for him, Jack scratched his head laughing nervously "I'm sorry, what did you say?" She looked at him oddly but shrugged she held her hand out with the video tape she nudged it "here, Jack I know some things about the trapeze and well...all you have to do is ask and I'll help in any way I can." Jack beamed taking the tape gratfully "Thank you," he bowed slightly an old habit and turned running towards the apartments he had some video watching to do.
rapunzal blinked before smiling "I swear I envy his enthusiasm." Later on the day when Jack swore he watched the move fifty times he and Rapunzal met in the training area where the Trapeze and the net was set so he could begin practicing. but seeing it for real made Jack falter, oh crap...he was really doing this...As he climbed the ladders Rapunzal was already there walking him through the steps and what to do he nodded and took the bar in hand tightly he felt like a nervous wreck and the safety net below him barely gave him any reassurance,
"Now you have to have enough momentum to swing back and forth on the bars," Rapunzal told him she stood right beside him as his coach and Jack jumed of falling forward but he just stopped halfway not even enough to swing forward he let go and fell on his back on the safety net
"It wasn't enough momentum you'll have to swing harder!" she called up from the stand but Jack felt slightly winded and staring at the bar with wide eyes in a panic.
he didn't know swinging would be this hard…
He kept at it the whole day until Rapunzal decided to call it quits "That's enough for today," Jack sighed well at least he got swinging down, now it was spinning while swinging next. Rapunzal appeared next to him grinning "you did a lot today, further than any other performer," Jack smiled taking the towel she handed to him
"Thanks, but I'm far from over yet," he said determined Rapunzal smiled in sympathy and looked at the time "Well its getting late, I'm closing up." Jack nodded "Sure…I'll just go see ya punzi," he left missing her bewildered face before she smiled gripping the towel harder "Punzie..."
Jack collapsed on the bed completely exhausted, but he couldn't sleep yet he had to have a shower and re-watch Bunnys performance until a voice interrupted his 2 minutes of peace "Tired already?" Jack shot up and saw the Manny sitting on his counter obviously amused. Jack sighed groaning this was not his day he fell back covering his face with his elbows dramatically "He's still here- And how did you get out!?" Jack yelled sitting back up ready to throw a pillow at him but Manny kept on smiling "I have my ways," Jack expression only spoke in a What the fuck slash confusion.
"Your very creepy you know that. And what are you doing here?" Manny blinked "didn't I tell you? I am here to guide individuals who are good enough to become a guardian and perform a great maneuver the world has never seen," Jack raised an eyebrow in disbelief "Great maneuver?" Manny nodded gaining excitement "but only somone with great skills can achieve it." Jack found himself hugging a pillow all thoughts of a shower vanishing he tapped his lips in thought "If you needed someone with speical skills then what about Bunny or Tooth? Why aren't you bothering them?" Manny went silent and Jack mentally grinned "Well…I'm not at liberty to say-" Jack nodded "so your a phonny huh? I knew it," he clicked the lights and rolled over, he could have a shower in the morning
"No I'm not and I can prove it, you were born December 21nd, Winter solstice correct?" Jack turned now feeling on guard "wha- how did you..." His breath caught when manny started to glow and star signs circled around him the astrology of sagitarius lit before him and his eyes widened he nearly fell back of the bed "y-you...your glowing!" yep he's lost his marbles scattered to the winds forever.
"Oh dear..." Jack felt more worried he sat up "what? What is it?" He wasn't one for astrology or star sighns but like any normal person he does have an interest in them
"The stars tell me Jackson…If these turn of events go unchanged…you will fail." Jacks eye widend "what... Fail then are you telling me to not try at all and apologose," but Manny shook his head
"I'm not saying that but the task is up to you." he stopped glowing and Jack turned over eyes wide thinking over maybe he should apologise...but he couldn't not after making Rapunzal spend time out of her schedule to do it and he couldn't leave now. He's came so far. He took a breath of determination. He will not fail and he will prove those stupid star sighns wrong.
"Its best to eat enough protein and keep your body in top shape- Jack what are you doing?" The teacher asked, Jack wouldn't admit it but the premanition shook him a little and with new found determination he tried harder than ever to perform the manuver, he was hanging on the door hinges swinging back and forth as the lesson was in process "Don't mind me, I'm still listening," Jack said swinging back and forth
And when Jack was eating alone he picked up his fork "Swing on the bar back and forth, spin around and finish," and he ate his food, The twins watched in guilt, Caleb was about to walk to there usual table but Claude didn't go, instead he walked over and sat in front of Jack frost.
From this close he could see how worn out the boy was Jack looked up in surpise as the twins sat in front of him "Hi," he said still in shock "hey," Claude said and started eating "Hello," Caleb replied and then they didn't speak much after but they went on eating.
When Jack arrived to his apartment he did more strecthes and excersis more than he usually did and before he went to bed he rolled back and forth on it visualizing he was on the swing, and Manny floated abover watching in interest Well isn't this entertaining...He observed with amusment.
Later on in the training it was day 3 halfway through the weak, Jack jumped to the next swing and cried with truimph when he caught it "I did it!" He yelled rapunzal clapped "brilliant! now all you have to do is start on the next swing, you need to start spinning for this one," Jack nodded "got it."
Jack started with the next one he got better and better as they went along and halfway through Caleb and Claude appeared with food and drink "Jack! come on take a break man!" Jack stopped and looked down in confusion "Calab...Claude?" when he fell onto the net and mounted of the set he gave a sigh of relief his body was killing him, But he took the towel and energy drink happily he winced when he raised his arms but laughed to throw them off but the twins noticed and saw motivation can only take you so far they passed him drinks and a sandwiches "You need your sugar levels up..." Caleb said
"Which I don't get it" Claude added placing a finger to his chin and looking Jack up and down "...eating all of that for lunch and now this. how are you so skinny?" he asked head cocked to the side Jack laughed before shrugging before realising that was a bad idea "I don't know," but he started rotating his arms from the strain from the swings. The twins blinked and looked at each over sadly Caleb blamed himself for mentioning it, it was his fault Jack was in this situation but by the look on Jacks face they both realised he was too determined and stubborn to apologies so like a quick signal to both twins they tried to cheer him up
"Which one of us is Calab and which one of us is Claude?" they asked while they both wore similier hats and moved about any other person would be confused, but jack pursed his lips and pointed to each "Claude. Caleb." there faces fell "what?" Claude took his hat of his Afro poffed out and both claude and Jack snickered "how did you...?" Jack grinned "never underestimate a trickster." was all he said and the twins glanced at each over in confusion.
On the fourth day without realising things had changed for better or worse no one knows. Jack was on class practicing his acrobatics it was a show day and everyone else was getting ready they seemed to accept Jack subconsciously releasing he wasn't any harm but they didn't interact with him either they knew who he was but didn't really know him fully, everyone was getting dressed for the show the new recruits such as Jack and the twins and a few others weren't allowed on stage yet hairdryers were heard but not nearly loud enough to muffle the scream
"Who put talk in my HAIR DRYER!" Astrid cried shoving her dressing room door open half her face covered in white powder the Twins blinked and burst out laughing accompanied by everyone else Astrid turned sharply "You!" she pointed at the twins "You did this didn't you!?" at this they stopped "it wasn't us."
"Honest," Claude finished both there hands up in surrender Astrid pointed her hair brush threatinigly "If I cath either of you in my room again so help me I'll rip you a new one." before they could question what she meant she left but when she was out of earshot a snicker filled the room the Twins turned wide eyed to see Jack covering his mouth his eyes filled with mischief
"It was..." Calab started "...You?" Claude finished completely gobsmacked Jack even ragged and exhausted still had the energy to pull pranks!
"I think we met the god of pranksters." Caleb echoed his thoughts but being said aloud Claude scowled "like hell. this is our place, not his." All Caleb could do was sigh this wasn't going to end well
It was halfway through the weak and Jack was no where near ready to perform the Riveling Pooka he tried harder and nearly everybody saw the strain it was causing him he fell asleep in class and was too exhausted to finish his dinner. "Jack," Rapunzal tried when he tried to climb the ladder to get to the swings "Take a break this is too much," but Jack shook his head "No." Rapunzal blinked before frowning "Jack Frost. Your a not fit to take the swings right now you'll kill yourself mister!"
Jack blinked stunned he's never seen Rapunzal angry before but he couldn't help it he scoffed Rapunzal didn't expect this but it only made her angryier "What's funny? don't you dare laugh stop it! stop it right now-" she couldn't hold the laugh that wanted so badly to escape her throat "no, Jack I'm trying to be serious." that burst it and both burst out laughing Jack wiped his tear's of mirth and descended the stairs "okay I'll take a break." Rapunzal sighed with relief and took his hand and led him to the chairs before the stage "Come on, have you eaten anything at all lately?" she asked unpacking her lunch Jack blinked he lost track of the days it was just constant training the last time he ate...
Jack hesitated, when was the last time he'd eaten?
Rapunzal was watching Jack cautiously but he grinned "this morning," she pursed her lips "okay..." she gave him her sandwich "tweedle dee and dum arn't here you have to eat somthing." he took it gratfully "thank you." she smilied and started to eat Jack munched on his sandwhich slowly thinking it's been five days he had only two days left until the performance and honestly he was worried he might fail he grit his teeth in determination he had to push himself harder.
The twins and Rapunzal sat in the stands watching Jack and giving there input it actually helped Jack improve and he was getting close "He might actually make it." Rapunzal sighed happily she started growing fond of the white haired boy.
When Jack dismounted the twins beckoned him over suspiciously Rapunzal raised an eyebrow they wern't going to do that now right? Jack watched amused seeing the trap a mile away but when he took one step onto the ground he felt weird somthing wasn't right his control felt way of. Maybe he was swinging too much maybe thats it but he could hear his own breathing but suddenly he heard a ringing and he saw the twins and Rapunzal talking even laughing but he couldn't here them even though they were a few feet away
"...Jack...?" Somone asked who Jack didn't know his vision was going spotty and everything went black.
The others froze as they saw Jack collapse right in front of them too stunned to move until but Claude was the first to move he yelled Jack's name and when he got near he skidded on his knees Pulling Jack up and turning him on his side. "Jack? Jack! come on speak somthing english or whatever you speak in greenland!" Claude yelled tapping his face Jack's face scrunched up slowly coming too "What are you doing in my room?" he asked with earned a sigh of relief Jack sat up slowly blinking away stars "What happened?" he asked glancing up at them "You just...feinted." Jack blinked "wha...?"
"Jack, you have to stop this is obviosuly too much!" Claude scowled Jack shook his head getting up "No- I-I'm F...ine..." Claude sighed and scowled at him "Your far from it!" Caleb pressed his lips together unsure on what to do "why don't you just apologise?" he asked Jack glared "no, I'm going to perform the Riveling Pooka and prove I'm not a mistake to be here." he tried to get up but a wave of dizzyness overpowered him Claude and Caleb caught him "hold on. you at least need your rest first." Jack the twins realised couldn't change his mind, he was a stubborn mule obviously but if they couldn't stop him the least they could do was help him.
it was the last day and Rapunzal watched in worry, even from here she could see how worn out jack was but he was still determind he leapt from the swing spinnng faster and faster and performed the stunt perfectly but
"Wow, did you see that!?" Claude gasped "he did it," calab added mouth agape Rapunzal sighed hating to be the bearer of bad news "But he can't keep a graceful pose...not to mention how he keeps missing the swing.. ." If anything this was just plain hopless...
Hours passed and everybody had dozed off or left Jack took a breath and jumped from the swing performing again he was so close to the other swing but his fingers barely grazed it he fell with a cry and once his back hit the net he watched with wide eyes panting trying to regulate his breath before cursing in frustration he sat back up about to climb the ladders and start again,
"You should really take a break," Tooth said Jack turned startled then relaxed seeing tooth she had her coat on with her bag wrapped around her shoulder she must of been leaving she was about to go before she hesitated unsure wether to say somthing or not but when she looked into Jacks confused eyes she decided what the hell "You know...Bunny nearly took a month to get that move right." Jack blinked completely stunned while processing this Tooth added
"But he only acomplished the trck only becuase he found out his reason. Whats yours?" She asked before walking off "w-wait wha..." He trailed off when she vanished from sight he shrugged it off climbing up the ladders but he stopped short at the swing.
Why was he doing this?
He gripped the bar in both hands "What is my reason?" He wondered aloud before Jumping from the platform. only to miss the bar again but as he looked by seeing the bar barely been grazed getting further and further away from him so did his dreams...
It was over there went his training now he had to do the real thing. Jack was outside the stage looking at the time every now and then this was it. He had to show them what he could do prove he was a guardian but he was shaking all over he hoped he didn't have a heart attack before the thing "Okay Frost you can do this be cool." He took a breath and turned to the stage and walked in.
Everyone was seated already Bunny had his arms crossed a smug look on his face Jack scowled before looking up at the swings he climbed the ladder overlooking everyone there, Sandy and North Tooth and Bunny along with the twins and Rapunzal he gulped taking a semi steady breath before he grabbed the bar that fell towards him he gripped it tightly as his hands showed cuts and scratches he never noticed before Jacks palms ached but he held on determind he looked down taking a breath to call out to the others "Thank you all for coming!" He called down looking ahead and hee jumped. A thought went through his mind as he swung forward into the open air
What is my reason?
Jack swung forward and as he got higher and gained momentem he twisted his body and he spun around onto the detatched bar faster and faster, everything was a blue as his vision was askew for a short moment and suddenly he thought of the past few days the way the staff members and other performers seemed closer to him even encouraging and helping him out. when he trained for the manouver he wasn't alone he couldn't mess this up he couldn't for both them and him becuase-
His eyes relaxed and he felt a huge weight lift from his shoulders, He let go of the bar and flipped into the air for a moment he was lost it was just him there on the stage,
And he was flying. At this he thought was the reason he joined Manny's stage, he wished to to be seen he wanted to share and connect with the audience he wanted to be part of this ever since he was little the magic and emotion from his first show wanted him to be a part of it and bring a smile to everyone and be completely overpowered with the sounds of the crowds but more importantly the reason he came here in the first place.
He wanted to share his fun with everyone.
He moved fluently into the pose his face set in determination and without meaning too added his own style and Bunny's eyes widened as he saw the little kid who he thought was worthless who was all talk and no bite, perform the riveling pooka right before his very eyes no one dared blink.
Rapunzal gasped bouncing on her feet in excitment when Jack performed it perfectly Caleb and Claude almost applouded Jack grinned and swung forward about to catch the bar, but it was away by a fingers bridth, he gasped eyes shooting wide open his fingers grazed it and he fell hands outstretched he didn't make it.
He fell onto his back on the net looking upwards eyes wide with shock. He failed? "Jack!" The twins called running forward Jack sighed feeling defeated guess he didn't have a choice he moved from the net walking towards them.
"Are you okay?" Caleb asked looking worried Jack smilied happy for their concern but they didn't need to worry about it "I'm fine." he sounded like his cheerful self but he was taking this too calmly "maybe I'm not set out to be a guardian." he shrugged, play it cool it would hurt less if you didn't care.
Claudes eyes widened before narrowing "Don't say that! you are a Guardian! you shouldn't leave becuase you couldn't catch the bar you have as much right to be here than any of us-"
"Enough." Bunny called walking forward arms crossed he looked them over making sure they kept quiet and glanced at Jack his expression unreadable "You didn't complete the task Jack." he said and Jack nodded still smiling trying not to let this get to him, but Bunny thought the boy didn't care and it infuritated him to no ends. He wanted to add more to see if Jack would react but decided against it, Claude was about to protest at Bunny's remark before he added
"I would say that was defiantly a Riveling Pooka." He said before walking away Jack blinked in surprise "W-what?" North grinned and Sandy gave a thumbs up Caleb and Claude were stunned for two seconds before they ran forward wrapping there arms around him "You did it!" Claude cried grinning "Your staying," Caleb finished beaming Jack was still in shock but a slow smile came over his face "I'm staying...?" he asked in desbelief he felt like he couldn;'t breathe properly but he didn't care he gasped and fist pumped the air "Hell yeah!"
Manny sat in the cupboard legs crossed with his staff in his hands Jack was taking a shower and seemed to be whistling some sort of tune "...and open up your eyes and still dream~" he wasn't a bad singer Manny thought, at as he thought of Jack's progress in a week the boy's talents looked promising "Maybe he is the one after all..." he mused before his face fell in agitation "but...WHY AM I IN A CLOSET!" he yelled in anguish before stopping to hear Jack's reply Bbecuase your creepy!" Manny pursed his lips then shrugged "Fair enough."

Funny how I only post on a holiday? usually writers right a oneshot thats based on the holiday but thats not happening with me at all so this is the christmas gift or if I'm lucky I might post another shot after this :D
