ROTG All in hope

"Jack...I'm scared..." Jamie's breath hitched his drawing his arms close to himself and ducked his head, trying to stay hidden behind park benches, just waiting for their foes to strike.

Jamie pouted grumbling under his breath "I wish I was with Easter." he uttered pitifully, he sank further against the bench then grimaced when he realised Jack heard.

"Hey, you are winter be happy about it!" He snapped making his voice oddly soundin like joey from friends.

"This is the fun side, Easter's on the jersey side." Jamie couldn't help but snicker feeling more confident than before, the two braced themselves getting their ammo ready "We can't stay here forever..." Jamie pointed out, feeling his heart beat in his ears he bit his lips looking to Jack,

"I feel like they'll find us." Jack felt worried but didn't let it show he plastered on a smile and looked to Jamie playfully "Alright then, lets get this over with..." Jamie's eyes widened as Jack took a took sharp breath "Jack-No!" he hissed leaning forward to clap his hand over Jacks mouth but-

"Marco!" Jack yelled as loud as he could, his partner in crime panicked as he saw through the park bench, bushes rustled he grimaced and whimpered when he heard the assailants yell in wicked glee.

"Polo!" the two other teams shouted at different time "P-polo!" Sophie yelled and Jamie grinned as he saw her location and brought his arm back making aim, but was then interrupted by Jacks tut.

"Your own sister? How could you?" he looked affronted, Jamie lowered his arm turning give a snappy comeback, until a snowball struck the back of his head. He gasped in shock hearing Sophie's laugh from far away.

Jack looked her way and winked in her direction, Pippa and Cupcake tossed their snowballs in hopes of his distraction, Jack ducked and laughed loudly for them to hear pointing out their obvious miss.

He turned back to see Jamie glaring at him in betrayal, but Jack only snorted to see half of Jamie's face covered in green paint. Jamie stomped his foot in outcry "Who invented this weird, Marco polo, hide and seek, dodgeball/snowball tag!?" Jack gave a low whistle and looked back to the field to see Easter and Faires trying to duck and dodge their coloured paint balls.

"We need a new name." Jamie only gave him that look that said 'Are you an idiot?' Jack was unfazed since he was used to it from his sister.

Jack shrugged "I don't know, I thought you guys did it." He sighed seeing how they were stuck in a poor conditions.

He turned to Jamie like a general giving orders "We need to find more ammo- oh Easter hunt too." Jack halted remembering the other part of the game, it was like snowball fights marco polo, if the game came to a standstill Easter was to search for ammo if you lost ammo, at least others were hidden to keep the game going.

The point of the game was to have three teams (since there wasn't much people playing) Fairies, Easter and Winter, Cossack. And there was a collection of snowballs with paint inside by the end of the game whoever is covered in the most paint losses, each colour represent the teams Red, Green, Blue and Yellow..

You also have to hide from the teams like a battlefield and again if it came too long and no one made a move they were forced to yell Marco Polo.

Tag which is what the twins included (Inspiration from tekken tag or something)

If a team is losing only one member can 'tag' a winning team and switch places, Dodge ball of course dodging the snowballs. If the whole team is hit then their out. Only Jamie was hit so team winter were still good to go, Jamie really wanted to tag monty right now…

Jack and Jamie only had four snowballs, that was only enough to take out 2 teams and thats if they (Jamie didn't miss) but then there was the third team Monty and Sophie were okay but for blondes they were pretty sneaky.

It was against Pippa and Cupcake the Fairies team that was a challenge along with the Cossacks, Claude and Caleb. All the deadly teams Jack had to think it wasn't fair and thought next time to change it up a bit...

All right Jack thought "Jamie, we have to get out there," Jamie gaped "What!?" Jack nodded feeling the adrenaline coming on making his hands sweat "We have to take out the most teams we can if we fall we're taking them with us. The twins should go first,"

Jamie nodded "Alright, Marco!" he yelled and they both jumped out screaming out their battle cry only to freeze to see everyone stand in a line in front of them looking smug, Claude stepped forward as the ring leader "It seems we've came to a truce," Claude said "We've all banded together until Team Winter is terminated."

Jamie only blinked while he and Jack glanced to one another Jamie growled at the twins "You aren't serious? Since when was that allowed!?" he turned his glare to Jack only to see he was as equally clueless, his eyes narrowed into a scowl looking irritated

"Since when was this the freakin Hunger Games!?" Cupcake and Pippa laughed at the reference, Jack pointed in mock hurt "That's cheating!" Claude shrugged "This is a growing game, there are no rules." They thought the boys would look scared but Jack's eyes brightened "There's no rules?" He asked almost innocently and Claude only looked taken aback feeling a chill down his spine.

Jack slammed his staff into the ground creating an ice shield that appeared in front of him, it looked like a large glass snowballubble. Jamie barked out a surprise laugh, looking in awe as Jack gave his trade mark grin "There we go." Claude balked "uh..."

"Get em!" Claude screamed and all hell broke loose. Jack instantly aimed and tossed his first shot at Monty and Sophie were instantly hit "I've been shot!" Monty cried before collapsing onto the floor Sophie giggled and they both crawled away to the side to watch. Pippa was hit but Cupcake Instantly dodged, Caleb cried out as he was hit in the face it was only cupcake and Claude left.

"uh oh..." Jamie said looking terrified Jack matched his expression and glanced around for anything to help him until his eyes caught the sky to see the Northern lights, that weren't usually shown here in America, In daylight.

Jack blinked the guardians were calling him.

Well they'll just have to wait he was in the middle of a crisis here, Jack winced when he realised they had no more ammo left. Claude noticed this and snickered "Me and the others picked up all the ammo we could find around here, there is none left." Jack gaped feeling he was in a deadlock until he had an idea.

He glanced at Jamie seriously and then winced "Don't hate me." before Jamie could ask what for, Jack instantly dropped the shield with no warning and they all reacted, Cupcake hit Jamie, and now he had red paint on him. didn't he look like an easter egg?

Claude aimed but missed Jack, who ran and picked up the paintball before it disintegrated. He tossed it back hitting Cupcake in the face, Claude stared "s-sorry," Cupcake glared his way and shoved a snowball in his face for revenge and red paint splayed all over Claude. All the burgess kids were covered in paint.

Jamie turned to Jack his expression murderous "I can't believe you sacrificed me..." He grumbled crossing his arms, Jack only ruffled his hair careful of the paint "Hey, don't be a spoiled sport we won."

Jamie waved of his hand trying to fix his hair "No you won, you don't have any paint on you." and it was true Jack was squeaky clean, while everyone else was covered.

"well duh, He's Jack Frost," Caleb nudged him and turned to Jack "I bet you've never been beat." at this Jack blinked "Actually no." They all looked shocked "No way! Someone beat you?" Jack shook his head "Didn't beat me per say-"

"Jack!" the boy turned in surprise then relaxed seeing Bunny stomp towards him looking irritated, Is it weird that's starting to become the norm? "Where the hell were you?" Bunny growled out, Jack pulled a face "What?"

This (if possible) only irritated the rabbit further "We have a situation at the pole- we thought you were in trouble or dying in a ditch!" Jack blinked stunned from the news, he knew this worry didn't stem from anything and he only gripped his staff "What's happened?" Was it Pitch? why else was Bunny like this?

Bunny glanced to the others "We need to get to the pole, now." Jack only stared "Alright okay," Bunny patted the ground and Jack gave a small smile at riding the tunnels again and leaped in with a whoop no matter the situation he will find fun in anything, especially the tunnels.

Bunny turned to the kids and smiled not to arouse alarm "Don't worry he'll be back," but paused when he noticed the paint "Is that my paint!?" he growled and Jamie's eyes bugged out pressing his lips together while the others winced, "Um..." Bunny scowled "I am going to kill him." He jumped in after the frost sprite.

The kids watched before wondering they would ever see their playful big brother ever again. undaunted Claude stepped forward with a smug grin "So Monty and Jamie lose being the first ones out." Both the boys turned to see the group (even Sophie!) looking at them evilly "Oh moon..." they both muttered in despair...

A/N Nah it's not Pitch again, I think he causes TOO much trouble in nearly every fic for once he hasn't done anything which is weird for him. But more like Past mistakes biting Jack in the butt.
