There was a high tension in the air, Tooth was muttering nervously while Sandy and North managed to look wooden, they mumbling how Bunny was taking too long.

Soon enough the Easter rabbit appeared leaping from the tunnel standing tall and confident. The others all looked anxious but by his expression they relaxed knowing Jack was safe, speaking of which, the boy flew up with a whoop and landed onto the banister "Alright, what big bad has shown it's ugly mug this time?" Instead of a reply he was bombarded with feathers and Tooth.

Jack flinched looking startled, the fairy hugged him tighter "Thank manny, you're okay!" she gasped in relief, he tensed and brought his hands up to push her back with a frown "Uh what?"

Bunny only huffed irritated, he glared at Jack like he always did "We need to talk, mate." Jack had a bad feeling, multiple thoughts flashing through his head, not any of them good.

He shook away scowling at his dark thoughts mentally, and tried to relax "About what?" he plopped himself on the globe, aware it was spinning and Bunny growled feeling he was worried for nothing.

Jack chuckled flying lower to meet them there and with a raised eyebrow and prompted them to begin a lecture or something he tried to act serious (but he just can't!)

North cleared his throat "Jack you are aware of last Easter." Jack blinked his fears coming back to light, a horrible sinking feeling in the pit of his stomach "uh...Yes?" Jack looked to the others noticing how tense they were being.

They weren't this bad until Pitch a year ago.

"It seems the mishap of Easter last year is still... affecting us to this day..." It wasn't noticeable unless you were watching Jack closely and it was almost violent when He tensed going rigged, a flash of guilt crossed his eyes until his face hardened. As if nothing happened.

"Since the children didn't collect the gifts from Easter we have another threat."

Tooth coughed lightly and North nodded knowing she wasn't as blunt with her words and could translate easier.

"Jack, legend states there was an unimaginable evil. History states that the pooka tribe fought against this evil...at a terrible price." Jack didn't know what this had to do with him and knew he had to listen, he placed his staff down and sat on the edge of the banister drawing his legs up. his eyes caught Bunny hop to the corner next to the fire, his back turned.

"But the pooka's managed to captured it and use the egglates to turn into chains, they formed together to keep it imprisoned. All together they're is seven chains for each continent, but if one chain is broken he can escape." Jack leaned forward she was calling it, it a minute ago.

"He? What is it?"

"A Basilisk." Bunny turned with a heated glare, and Jack realised he wasn't actually the main cause of it. "And one of the chains is getting loose, what we need to do is get to the warren and put every egg we have, put them in every home and ward of the Basilks servants. When they see that all the children has eggs hopefully..." he trailed off unsure.

Jack blinked "Wait- you're not sure!?" He asked, surprised glancing to the others "What if it doesn't work, what next?" Bunnys glare if possible hardened "Then we go to the Basilisk's prison and remake the chain ourselfs. Sandy and I can remend the chains...maybe." Jack only stared "Maybe?" this was a lot of maybe's.

None of this sounded reliable it sounded like a hit an miss, Jack nodded on his lips "Alright, what do we have to do?" Sandy floated over with a raised hand and Jacks spirits lightened Sandy's presence in the room always put him at ease.

Sandy instantly made a sandy like paint brush and an egg Jack blinked "Paint brush, egg- Painting eggs?" Jack twirled his staff over his fingers looking around "I don't know how painting eggs can fix it but you're the pros." he shrugged.

Talking over their plans the others agreed to go to the warren and the rest would meet up after they sorted their own affairs North only barked a laugh "Yetis would be fine without me, I'm ready for anything!" Tooth and Sandy had to sort out their palaces, or Sand cloud.

So only North, Bunny and Jack would be free enough for the warren.

When Sandy and Tooth left it became awkward, especially for Jack he glanced to North worriedly suddenly thinking back on the first night they defeated Pitch, they had a party to celebrate but he left and after a few months wasn't too sure on how to visit.

Until North placed his hand on Jack's shoulder with an amused look "Jack." The boy glanced up and Norths grin widened "Want to take the sleigh?" Jack broke out in a smile his blue eyes seemed to shine even more and North chuckled to himself guiding the boy with a hand on his back knowing that was the best idea he's ever had so far.
