Ok, so I know this one is pretty short, and I was originally going to make this chapter and the next chapter one full chapter, but I liked this part too much to wait until later to finish the rest of it. Call me impatient, but I wanted to know what you all thought. So, review and let me know if you're liking it or not! I feel like I'm writing blindly!

Edward knocked on my office door the next morning, smiling at me as he leaned through the doorway.

"You busy?" he asked, eyeing the paperwork I was shuffling through.

I smiled at him and waved him in, quickly organizing the papers before throwing them into a folder and into the filing cabinet. I bumped the door closed with my hip and turned towards Edward, proud of myself for accomplishing one thing on my to do list. "What's up? Don't you have a lesson right now?"

Edward shook his head, "She called in and cancelled. One of her sons was sick."

I nodded in understanding. One of the benefits of the new building was the ability to teach during the day as well as in the early evening. The other center was used during the day for other meetings and such, so we were never able to really get the school going as much as we had hoped. Now that the word was out about the Cullen Institute for the Arts more and more adults were signing up for lessons, taking them on their lunch break or while their children were at school.

"Well you can sit here and keep me company," I smiled, nudging him gently as I made my way back to my desk. I had a few lessons to plan for the next week, and some e-mails to return to potential students. After the recital last night many people had been inquiring about taking lessons. It was very exciting that so many people in this small town were taking an interest in music.

Edward glanced over my shoulder as I reread some of the e-mails. "Are we getting new students?"

"I think so," I turned in my chair to look at him. He was leaning casually with one hand on my desk and the other on the back of my chair. "A lot of people enjoyed the recital last night. Alice and Rose will have quite a few coming in."

He smiled down at me, "I love that things are working out for you. All of you. This was your dream."

"I have you to thank for it. None of this would have been possible without you. You've changed our lives around. Mine especially."

I was surprised by the suddenly serious turn of our conversation, but Edward didn't seem to mind. He leaned forward and left a soft kiss on my lips.

"Its you who has changed me. I'm the lucky one." He insisted. I just sighed and kissed him again. He didn't realize he had it all backwards.

He grabbed my Magic 8 Ball off of my desk and began strolling around my small office, tossing it in the air slightly. "Have you thought of what you want to do tonight?"

"I wasn't aware there was something being planned," I admitted, afraid I'd forgotten something important.

"Nothing in particular, no," he said breezily. "I just thought we should all go out and have some fun."

"We all, who?" I asked skeptically.

"You know, all of us. You...me...Rosalie...Alice...Jasper...Emmett..." He tossed the ball as he said each of our names, not taking his eyes off of me. How does he do that?

"Sure," I smiled, "What do you think we should do?"

"We need to go out somewhere," He said, tossing the ball and catching it one last time before placing it back on my desk. As he did so he placed both palms flat on the desktop, leaning towards me.

"I don't know, Edward," I said, glancing at my schedule for tomorrow knowing I couldn't handle a late night.

"Not to a club or anything," he specified, "But we all need to just get out and have fun. Bella, we act like we're forty-years-old sometimes. When is the last time, besides last night, that you just went out on a week night and enjoyed yourself?"

I had to think hard to answer that question, knowing that the only time I ever truly went out on a weeknight was when I was with Edward. And even then he was walking me to my door by 10:00...Unless he got lucky and I let him stay...

"Okay," I sighed, "Point taken."

"Excellent," he smiled, proud of himself.

"So what did you have in mind?"

"Karaoke."

I spun my chair around to face him across my desk. He was sitting down now, stretching his arms behind his head as he grinned at me. "No, sir. No way. I'm not going." I shook my head back and forth quickly.

"Why not?"

"Edward. I can sing perfectly well when I'm giving voice lessons but put a microphone in front of my face and I sound horrible."

"So sing what you know."

I rolled my eyes at him and stood up to file some more folders, "I'm not singing opera at a karaoke bar, Edward."

He snatched the Magic 8 Ball off of my desk again, bouncing it from hand to hand. "Let's see what the 8 ball has to say, shall we?"

I caught it in the air while it was traveling between his hands, wiping the smug grin off of his face. I shook the 8 ball quickly and turned it over. "Ha! Don't count on it!" I showed the answer to him, gloating.

"It was my idea," he said, taking the ball from me quickly. "I get to shake the ball."

I sighed and placed my hands on my hips, waiting for him to turn the ball over.

He took his time shaking the ball and flipping it over, smiling at the answer. That couldn't be good.

"Signs point to yes," he said proudly, tossing the ball to me. "You're coming."

He placed a quick kiss on my lips and before I could retaliate, he was gone.

Stupid, beautiful, karaoke lover.

Ok, so I hope you thought it was as cute as I did. I thought they needed a bit of young flirting. They're only 23 after all! Let me know what you think! Next chapter: Karaoke! You know you're excited. Emmett and karaoke...that's an interesting combo! What do you think each person's song should be?
