So far everything had gone well! Wilbur almost burnt the house down cause he forgot about some fish he was cooking but other than that it was good! They were outside playing now. Tommy was sword fighting with Shroud who was doing surprisingly well Tommy had tried to sweep him off his legs a few times but Shroud had managed to stay standing, Wilbur was sitting in the river with Fundy in his lap who was giggling and laughing as the water flowed over his little legs and tail. Wilbur was enjoying the peaceful bliss and looking around happily when he noticed something in the dirt on the other side of the river bed upon closer inspection he realized it was a footprint, a recent one. Wilbur quickly grabbed Fundy and bolted over to where Tommy was.
Tommy. Wilbur said in a calm voice.
Yeah? Tommy said. Putting the wooden sword down.
I think we're being watched. Wilbur said in a lower voice so Shroud wouldn't hear.
What? Tommy said, looking around tail flicking anxiously.
Let's just go inside for right now. Wilbur was anxious too but he was more experienced in the art of dealing with hunters and running from them than Tommy.
Alright. Tommy said, picking Shroud and the wooden swords up.
Awww I don't wanna go inside. Shroud whined in annoyance.
I know but Wil said he saw a monster and now he's scared and wants us to come to protect him! Tommy said with a happy sneered.
I did not! Wilbur said defensively.
Really?! Shroud asked excitedly.
Oh yeah! So let's go build a fort! Tommy said with equal excitement.
YAY! Shroud said before biting Tommy's shoulder.
Wilbur rolled his eyes as Tommy ran up to the house with Shroud in his arms. Wilbur followed the Two.
Silly people, that's what they are, yes silly silly. Wilbur said playing with Fundy who chirped happily and was grabbing at one of Wilbur's fins.
Little did they know that eyes were still on them.

DUH DUH DUH! By the way, I should clear up the timeline real quick so here is my explanation: I do know that canonically Fundy is older than Shroud but I really wanted to put them in the story and because it is an AU it does leave me room to play with timelines and whatnot, also my Fundy grows faster than normal babies/kids so by the end of the story he may very well start talking lol. Just please keep an open mind about OOC and timelines because this is an AU story based and ANOTHER AU story also feel free to give me ideas!
