Hello everyone! Happy holidays to you all! I'm wishing and hoping for each of you to have a pleasant holiday whether it be with yourselves or with your loved ones. I also wish for you all to have safe adventures out there cause where I am, we're snowed in for the night lol

Anyway, here's our lovely nerds being lovely nerds! See ya!

Snow.

I shivered as I wrapped my arms tightly around myself and rubbed my jacket-covered arms.

Always hated the damn snow.

It's cold and unbearable and leaves you wet in the end. No jacket seems thick enough and no way I go about it seems to keep me warm enough. It's annoying.

I reached up to pull the beanie on my head a little bit lower as I looked over toward the teen walking beside me.

But Raz always seemed to love it.

I couldn't help but smile at the slightest as I saw the taller boy sticking his tongue out to catch a few snowflakes on his tongue. The happiest look took over the boy's face despite the fact that he must have been freezing in his thin trench coat and helmet that I doubt was built for this kind of weather.

"You do know snowflakes are disgusting in nature, right?" Raz turned his head toward me with his tongue still sticking out.

"So?" The word was muffled as he kept his tongue out. "It's fun!" A wide cat-like smile took over his face as his tongue stuck out slightly in a 'blep' kind of motion. I rolled my eyes despite a hint of a smile taking over my lips.

"Whatever, penguin."

"Excuse you," He brought his tongue back into his mouth as he put his hands on his hips with a smile. "I'm in the circus. Penguins would be no good being a performing act. If anything, I'm an arctic seal."

"What am I then?" Raz brought a hand up to his chin as he rubbed it for a moment.

"I would say," He drew out the last word as he seemed to really think about his next set of words. "A horse." I gave him a curious look as he brought his hands up defensively. "Not in an offensive way, I promise!"

"How could you compare me to a horse and not think I'll take that offensively? If your sister's pony tells me anything, you're calling me a stubborn brat, Raz."

"Well, you are stubborn." I shot him a mini glare before he continued talking. "But they're majestic too! And really strong. Clever as well! Sugercube always found ways out of her stable no matter how many different locks and things we had in place." Raz chuckled to himself as I nudged him in his arm. "And~ they're really pretty." I blushed at his teasing tone.

"Flattering."

"See!" I only hummed in reply as a gust of wind came through. I shivered before wrapping my arms around myself once more. A worried look came over Raz's face as he inched closer. "Cold?"

"Out in this? Absolutely. I'm surprised you're not."

"I'm Grulovian." He gave me a proud smile. "We're bred for this kind of weather." I rubbed my arms against myself before I felt an arm wrap itself around my shoulders. "Obviously Zanottos are meant for sunshine, huh?"

"Well, I am a Lili. Lillies don't survive in this kind of weather, Razzy." I felt him pull me in gently to his side before leaning his head on top of mine.

"I'll keep you warm." I felt a blush take over my cheeks as I let myself lean back into him. The cold was still bitter to me and I felt the wind still cut through my puffy jacket like a brutal knife, but a slight warmth swirled within my stomach and chest as I let myself burrow slightly into him.

I still hate the winter.

I felt myself smile softly as a small laugh stirred Raz's chest gently.

But at least he makes it bearable.

Just a quick one for the holidays, but I'll be back to give y'all more later! Have a wonderful night and stay warm if you can!
