La mer est d'un calme idéal et Ed attend Stede pour partir avec lui, loin des soldats anglais, loin de la piraterie, loin du passé. Sauf que. Sauf que Stede n'arrive pas, sauf qu'il est écrit qu'Ed ne pourra jamais rien avoir de beau et de tendre dans sa vie. Et pourtant, il attend en essayant de se convaincre que Stede viendra et que pour une fois, tout ira bien.

Le vent ne souffle pas, l'équipage s'ennuie et veut une histoire. Puisque les deux co-capitaines sont occupés, c'est à Oluwande que l'équipage s'adresse. Oluwande ne voit pas de mal à ça, sauf que Jim est dans toutes ses histoires et que Jim ne veut pas entendre parler de cette époque et de cette personne qu'iel n'était pas.

Ed propose à Izzy de le tatouer, par désoeuvrement. Izzy découvre des choses sur lui-même.

(OC x OC) Nikita was fourteen when she met Blackbeard, and since then he has become like a father to her when no one else would. Ten years later, they come across Captain Stede Bonnet. Blackbeard instantly becomes intrigued by the odd man, but as his attention diverts his daughter begins to question if the time had come Blackbeard would abandon her just like everyone else.

Everyone knows about Stede's crimes against Ed. But nobody acknowledges the bigger sin that Ed committed against Stede. But Stede knows his worth now. He wants his man, yes. He wants to be loved. But there's something far more important than that that he needs. It may take tabslute mental disintegration to get it.

Ed and Stede have been reunited and Izzy is not happy about it. He is in firm denial that they are lovers. Three unfortunate walk-ins might force him to confront reality: Stede and Ed are in love and banging one another.

authors note: I'm not sure where this story will go, but I love the relationship between Oluwande and Jim. It might not be chronological, just glimpses of moments between them. I plan on playing with pronouns, kind of like how someone who identifies as he/they would write about themselves.

When the king puts a priceless bounty on their heads for escaping the Act of Grace, Stede and Ed are going to need their crew, their wits, and one another to survive. If they can only find a way back to each other first.

Ed teaches himself to read using Lucius's fanfiction. He quickly becomes obsessed with this "Gentleman Pirate" and longs to see if the real thing is as fascinating at the fictional. Meanwhile, Stede discovers that he is shipped with the dread pirate Blackbeard. The stories Izzy writes disturb his delicate sensibilities, and he soon resolves to avoid Blackbeard at all costs.

Edward is gone, and Blackbeard is back- that is, until Stede returns to parlay. Blackbonnet. Complete.
