This was something I wrote like a year ago, so it might be a little sucky. I read it again, though, and I thought it was a pretty cool idea, so I'm posting it. If you like it, great, if not, that's okay. Just don't flame ; )
Enjoy!

Aphrodite's Joy
It was a calm, peaceful morning on Mount Olympus. The birds were singing beautiful songs. The Muses were playing a soft yet chirpy tune. In a field, satyrs were helping the goddess Demeter grow and harvest crops. Merchants were pulling out their carts, preparing to sell their products in the market. The gods and goddesses were slowly waking up and greeting each other before going about their usual business.
One goddess, however, was already up. In fact, she had been up for quite a while. She had beautiful, long, flowing hair that seemed to never be out of place. She had a pretty face with no flaws what so ever. She had the perfect body that made woman jealous and men lust over her.
It was, of course, Aphrodite, goddess of love and beauty.
On a regular day, she would have slept in, insisting on getting her beauty sleep. Today, though, something amazing was about to happen between her favorite couple-to-be, Percy and Annabeth.
Aphrodite sat perched on the edge of her bed with her legs and arms crossed. She was still in her red, silky nightgown. She was watching the television intently, a slight frown etched on her otherwise perfect face.
She was watching Percy and Annabeth travel through Mount St. Helens to one of her husband's forges. She was disappointed that they were just talking about meaningless things.
"C'mon, Percy," She muttered to herself. "Make a move."
She sighed as Percy "ignored" her and continued watching.
"Put your cap back on," Percy said. "Get out!"
"What?" Annabeth shrieked. "No! I'm not leaving you."
Aphrodite bit her lip. This was getting good.
"I've got a plan. I'll distract them. You can use the metal spider—maybe it'll lead you back to Hephaestus. You have to tell him what's going on."
"But you'll be killed!"
"I'll be fine. Besides, we've got no choice."
Aphrodite sighed at the angst-y romance. Such was young love…
She watched as Annabeth glared at Percy like she was going to punch him. But then she started leaning in.
Aphrodite perked up as she realized her intentions. She leaned closer to the television screen until…
"Yes!" She screamed and squealed as she watched them kiss. She was waiting for Percy to start things, but Annabeth starting them just made things even better.
Some passersby stopped and stared questioningly at the screaming coming from the house. Once they realized it was Aphrodite who lived there, they just shrugged and went back to their business, assuming it had something to do with her "soap opera."
Meanwhile, Aphrodite was still studying the couple as they parted. Annabeth put on her cap before Percy could say anything. Aphrodite could see how stunned he was, but then some monsters came his way and he came out of his reverie.
Aphrodite pursed her lips. Things were so…obvious. The tension between them could be cut even with a dull knife. But they were so oblivious. Maybe…
Maybe if she made things harder for them they would finally realize their love for each other and—
Who was she kidding? She just loved messing with people's love life.
She smirked. Things are just going to get harder from her, Percy Jackson and Annabeth Chase…
She laughed darkly and lay back in bed.
"I absolutely adore and tragic love story!" She exclaimed, thinking up ways to ruin their relationship.
Aphrodite then decided today would be a good day to stay in bed.
