Castle helped the crying Beckett off the floor, hoping to get her away from the body. She needed to be out of the general area. "Come on, Kate. Let's go," he whispered in her ear.
Kate continued to sob, unsure of her next move. She had a hard time processing what had just occurred. "Okay," she mumbled. Kate reluctantly let Rick lead her away.
Rick wasn't sure what he could do to help, but he was at least going to try. Kate needed him right now. She was his priority at the moment.
He would do anything for Kate Beckett.
