As soon as Matt properly wakes up, he's shocked. There's no way in hell Mello ever got up before him, and there's no teenage blond in his bed. Matt gets up, already dressed, and goes downstairs. He's halfway down the hall before he realises he's still got his Nintendo controller in his hand, and he has to physically prise his fingers off using the door, a pair of tights and an ingeniously placed spoon. It takes him precious time to do this; and he's almost forgotten about Mello by the time he's replaced the tights (which, incidentally, now have a rather large crotch hole. Oh well, that's life). Almost. He goes to Watari/Roger's office, and asks what's happened, and why. Sadly, he doesn't realise it's Roger in there, and that he's earnt himself a triple detention. Why? I left out the swearing. But, he can't really be bothered with that. Because Roger did tell him something.
Mello's left him.
And there's only one thing running through his brain for the next half hour.
