Salani. It had been a long time since he had heard that word. They had been nearly
extinct when he was human, and wiped out when he was a vampire. He, as well as
the rest of the vampire community, hated the Salani with a fiery passion. It was their
blood that bound vampire powers during the day. And now they had the nerve to
attack and quite possibly kill, his soulmate. That single thought raised his hatred for
them even more, which was pretty impressive, seeing as he already hated him to the
maximum. As he started for the crazied sharks, all of a sudden he was knocked out.
