A/N: Alright, so here's the first chapter they're going to react to. Like I said in my last author's note, I want this to sort of be a 'trial' thing, so people can get a feel for how I write my react fic since all of the ones I've seen do em kinda differently. Hope you all enjoy!

Review response:

Zekken182:

Either or really. If there's a fanfic that involves RWBY, regardless if it's a crossover with something else or not, then there's a chance it can appear here. It all depends if I've read it/enjoy the fic in question or not. And yes, I could make them react to my other fic but not until I get Roman himself in here. Gonna do some other universes first.

Imperial Stormtrooper:

I'm not a big fan of Warhammer 40k but, if you have a specific scene in mind, I can go over it and try to do something with it.

cesar456diaz:

Pineapple is definitely a good one but it's too long so I'll either have to split it into multiple parts or only pick out a specific bit. As for the other fic... It's kind of meh in my opinion. I haven't read all of it so It's possible there's a good scene I haven't got to yet. If there is a specific part you'd like to see, either send me another review or hop into my PM's and let me know.

Officer Gato:

This is actually a really nice request. I'll definitely do this at some point, thank you!

Presenting: RWBY - Painting the Town

As the screen came to life, a view of the City of Vale could be seen, specifically an area downtown full of warehouses.

"That's in downtown Vale right?" Yang asked, seeing the view on screen.

"It is… It reminds me of the docks after…" Blake hesitated briefly with Professor Ozpin in the room but dismissed it with a shake of her head, he'd spoken to her about it after all. "That night with Torchwick." She glanced at the Headmaster but he only looked contemplative.

"I wonder what we're going to see here…" He mumbled. Those who heard him only shared his thoughts.

Everything was quiet as the broken moon shone overhead before Blake and Sun suddenly crashed through a window on one of the warehouses, before proceeding to hop over a barrier and sprint as fast as their legs could carry them.

"Woah Blake, you guys are running pretty fast." Jaune commented. "And who's that guy with you?" The blonde asked with a curious tone of voice.

Blake only sighed as Yang made suggestive gestures along with eyebrow wiggles which she could see in the corner of her eye. "That's Sun Wukong. He's a…" She blushed slightly as the suggestive gestures increased from her partner. "Friend of mine. We met him while out in Vale once. He's a Haven student." She explained.

"You sure he's just a friend?" Yang asked slyly, earning a hiss from Blake, causing her to chuckle.

"Despite only knowing Mr. Wukong personally for a short while, I can imagine with him there, you've found some trouble, no doubt." Ozpin commented, causing Blake to sigh and nod her head in agreement.

Not a moment later, the wall behind them exploded outwards as a prototype Atlesian Paladin crashed though it, chasing after the duo and quickly gaining on them. The paladin was marked in several places with the insignia of the White Fang.

Ruby gasped like the weapons nerd she was at the sight, completely missing the insignia. "OH MY GOD! GIANT ROBOT, GIANT ROBOT! IT LOOKS SO COOL!" She squealed with delight.

"Those are White Fang markings…" Ozpin commented before glancing over at Blake, who seemed just as surprised but once she noticed Ozpin, she flinched away slightly.

"Not those ruffians again…" Weiss groaned into her hand.

"What did you two do to get chased by a robot?" Ren asked incredulous.

"I don't even understand how the White Fang got there hands on something like that!" Blake hissed out with anxiety clear on her face.

Blake and Sun used a nearby car to hop onto another warehouses roof, before running down the street along the rooftops of apartment and residential buildings, all as the paladin barreled after them like an animal chasing it's prey with blood on the wind.

Sun called over to Blake as they ran. "So you wouldn't happen to have, oh I don't know- SOME FORM OF BACKUP?!" He yelled while he leaped from one roof to the next.

Ruby and Yang snickered lightly while Blake sighed in exasperation from the monkey faunus. "Dammit Sun…" Blake mumbled.

Ozpin only sipped at his hot cocoa with an amused glint. He was already loving this decision.

"On it!" Blake called back as she grabbed her scroll before bringing it up next to her ear.

In Vale's CCT Tower, Weiss Schnee stepped off of the elevator as the call went through, after she brought her scroll up to her face. "Everyone! If you can hear me, we need ba- HEEEEEEEEEEEEEEELP!" Sun's cry drowned out Blake's request, to which Weiss rolled her eyes in an unconcerned manner. Nevertheless she picked up her pace as she made her way out of the tower.

"He's certainly an interesting character." Pyrrha giggled into one of her hands, Nora cackling beside her, not even trying to hide her mirth.

"Is that the CCT Tower?" Weiss asked confusedly. "What am I doing there? For that matter why were we split up in the first place?" She only got shrugs but unbeknownst to her, Ozpin sighed knowingly while Blake got an inkling of an idea of what was going on.

In an alleyway elsewhere in Vale, Ruby Rose looked at her scroll, listening to the same message. "THEY GOT A ROBOT! AND IT'S BIG- REALLY BIG!" Ruby smirked with excitement and anticipation as a familiar glint appeared in her eyes. "Oh I am not missing this!" She quickly ran off to aid her friends.

"Oh! Oh! There's me!" Ruby squeaked excitedly, earning a chuckle from most of the audience, her sister and the Headmaster included.

"Isn't being in an alley next to a dumpster a little random though?" Jaune pointed out but Nora, ever the sugar addict she was, had a brilliant idea.

"Maybe she was buying extra sugary cookies! Oh! Or pancakes! Sugary chocolate chip pancakes!" She shouted with a hungry gleam in her eyes.

"Wait, Ren, does Nora-"

"Get sugar from dealers because I try and limit her intake?" Ren finished Yang's question with an unamused look. "Yes. Yes she does."

Elsewhere, Outside of 'The Club', Yang and Neptune sat on Bumblebee, listening in to Sun's panicked ranting as well. "THAT TORCHWICK GUY IS IN IT! BUT NOT LIKE, IT DIDN'T EAT HIM! HE'S LIKE, CONTROLLING IT OR SOMETHING!"

"Torchwick?!" Ruby yelled in surprise. "What's he up to again?!"

"Why is he in a robot?!" Blake yelled before growling in frustration. "And how did the White Fang even get their hands on it anyways?!" She asked for the second time. "Did Torchwick steal it?"

"I believe that 'robot' is a prototype Atlesian Paladin… As for the answer to your question, I can only guess." He said cryptically, sipping his cocoa.

Weiss's brain only short circuited for a moment. "Why would he think the robot ate Torchwick?" Yang only smirked with mirth. "He's Sun. He's just like that."

"Wait. Sorry for interrupting but who's that with Yang?" Jaune asked skeptically as he pointed at the blue-haired student.

Yang narrowed her eyes and leaned in, trying to see if she'd seen him somewhere before, but she drew up a blank. "Nope. Don't recognize him."

"Then..." Jaune tried to rationalize the situation but Ozpin beat him to it.

"I believe that man is called Neptune Vasilias. He is a huntsman in training from Haven, member of Team SSSN, or Sun." Ozpin exclaimed, having looked over the teams file which had been sent ahead for the Vytal Festival.

"Oh! So Sun is his team leader then!" Ruby connected the dots and pointed out helpfully.

'He is somewhat... handsome...' Weiss thought, her cheeks dusted with a small amount of red.

"Where are you guys?" Yang asked but instead of Sun responding through the scroll, the thumping of the Atlesian Paladin grew louder and louder before Sun and Blake ran past the intersection down the street with Torchwick hot on their heels. "WE'RE OVER HEEEEERRREEEE!" He screamed as they fell out of view once more.

That broke the camels back and most of the students, bar Weiss who only scoffed and the immaturity and Blake who was still trying to process the events on the screen, started howling with laughter at the enigma that was Sun Wukong.

Even Professor Ozpin chuckled wholeheartedly while Pyrrha and Ren managed to stay somewhat composed, merely chuckling like Ozpin instead of joining the others in their total loss of composure.

"I- I- I can't-" Yang broke down once more with a loud wheeze while Ruby shed tears of laughter beside her, clutching at her sides from the ache they were experiencing.

Nora collapsed onto the floor from her chair before proceeding to lay there as her laughter slowly began to die down.

Both Yang and Neptune stared for a few moments before Neptune turned towards Yang. "I… Think that was them…" Yang only huffed in annoyance and rolled her eyes before responding in a tone that matched her mannerisms. "Yeah, I got it." She put her scroll away before speeding off with Bumblebee, Neptune barely holding on as they started to chase the paladin.

"O-okay I- I think we- heh- we're good now." Jaune said, nearly losing it again mid sentence but managing to keep his laughter in check while wiping a tear from his eye.

"Yeah… Oh god I needed that." Yang sighed with pure satisfaction as Ruby leaned into her, both tired from the ordeal.

Ren pulled Nora up off the floor and back into her seat as her chuckles slowly receded to the depths of her soul, smiling all the while, while Pyrrha looked on warmly at the sight.

Back with Blake and Sun, the duo had led the Atlesian Paladin onto a highway, the two of them hopping between the cars on the road as the drivers honked at them. As Torchwick leaped after them, he crashed into any cars that were in his way, throwing them off course and causing them to crash into the Hard-Light barriers.

"The highway?" Jaune asked, not believing his eyes. "You led him onto a highway?!" He shouted in shock.

"I… I…" Blake didn't know how to respond the leader of JNPR. She wanted to believe her future self had her reasons but she just didn't know what they were, so she opted to look away in what could only be described as shame.

"While the action might not have been ideal…" Ozpin began, leading to everyone to turn to him. "It is possible that Blake was leading Torchwick away from a residential area. Perhaps the highway was the only place to go to minimize casualties." He noted with a calculating gaze, before sipping his cocoa again.

"It's certainly possible." Pyrrha suggested in contemplation. Suddenly she smiled as a thought occurred to her. "Even so, if this hasn't happened yet, it just means we can prevent it from happening in the first place."

"Yeah that's right Blake!" Ruby shouted encouragingly with a warm smile, causing Blake to smile in turn.

The chase continued for a little while longer before Torchwick growled inside the paladin and increased his speed, right as Yang and Neptune caught up. "We've gotta slow in down!" Yang shouted towards Neptune, who nodded. "Got it!" He replied before reaching for his weapon, Tri-Hard.

Roman scowled as he noticed the two of them thanks to the paladins systems and he only started moving faster, plowing into traffic and throwing vehicles of all kinds everywhere in an attempt to throw them off of his trail. "Hold on!" Yang shouted as she saw the incoming vehicles. "Uh oh… WOOAH!" Was Neptune's response as Yang sped up.

Blake couldn't help but wince at the destruction on screen. Even though she technically hadn't done any of that yet, that fact that she might have some time in the near future left a bad taste in her mouth, her cat ears twitching underneath her bow as if to lower themselves on her head at the destruction caused by her actions. Even if Professor Ozpins calculation helped ease her shame a bit, it didn't get rid of it completely.

Yang was forced to swerve back and forth as the cars Torchwick knocked around flew in all directions, some narrowly missing Yang and Neptune, the latter of which was forced to angle his body to avoid airborne mini vans and other cars lest they crash into him. Eventually, things calmed down and Neptune was able to make his move.

"You know…" Jaune began. "I think I'm kind of okay with saying that that was kind of cool. Since this hasn't really happened yet I mean." He quickly explained to clear up any misunderstandings.

"You have a point Vomit-boy." Yang admitted with a shrug, which earned an indignant whine from Jaune, before smirking. "I am pretty awesome." She crossed her arms and held her head high with pride.

"That's a good way of looking at it Mr. Arc." Ozpin said with a smile. "While the events on screen are far from ideal, it is important to note that they have not happened yet. In fact, I think it wouldn't be a bad idea to think of everything on the screen like a movie." He admitted with a shrug, to the surprise of the other students.

"Well this is sort of fun…" Ruby mumbled while twiddling her thumbs. Soon the heavy and tense atmosphere had lifted, allowing everyone to more or less relax with small smiles, Blake included.

The Haven student upholstered his weapon and shifted it into it's rifle form, before taking aim at the Atlesian Paladins back. The weapon charged as the trigger was pulled before letting out a powerful blast which barreled into the paladin, followed by several more. Inside the paladin, Torchwick grunted in annoyance as the robots systems beeped in alarm, alerting him to the damage.

"Woohoo!" Nora shouted with glee. "Break his legs!"

"That weapon is so cool!" Ruby squealed with stars in her eyes at the sight of Tri-Hard. "I have to get Neptune to show it to me when we finally meet him!"

Even Weiss allowed a small smile to come to her face as she silently cheered for the blue haired Haven student.

Neptune shifted his weapon again, this time into it's guandao form, before getting into a stance and leaping at the paladin. His weapon shifted into it's final trident form while in midair before it plunged into the thick Atlesian steel. Blake and Sun hopped onto a truck and van respectively and turned to face the paladin.

"Neptune! Hang on!" Sun shouted just as Torchwick started trying to throw Neptune off of him, the latter of which hung on for dear life.

"Ah- Hang on Neptune!" Weiss squeaked but little to late did she notice what she said and little to late did she noticed Yang looking at her the same way she looked at Blake. The heiress promptly blushed and forced herself to stare at the screen.

"You think he'll be alright?" Jaune asked as he leaned over to Ren. "Probably." He replied with a shrug.

Sun pressed his palms together in a prayer like manner as a sunlight like glow accompanied the activation of his semblance. Two ethereal glowing copies of himself materialized beside him, before leaping at the paladin, exploding against it in a flurry of light but doing little more than slightly denting the front armor plate.

"Oooh…!" Yang leaned forward with interest. "That's a pretty neat looking semblance." She turned to Blake with a small smile. "Did you know he could do that?"

"No." Blake replied also somewhat impressed by Sun's semblance. "This was my first time seeing it."

"It is quite the versatile semblance isn't it?" Ozpin mused quietly as he once again sipped his cocoa.

Sun, seeing his semblance was ineffective, transformed Riyu Bang and Jingu Bang into it's staff form, before throwing himself at the paladin with vigor. Torchwick however, finally managed to pry Neptune off of the paladins back and hurled him at the incoming Sun. The two collided in mid-air before tumbling off of the highway to the ground below.

"Ouch!" Nora yelped as she leaned back, closing one of her eyes in a wince. "That's gotta hurt!" She said.

"I'm certain they're alright Nora." Pyrrha assured the girl with a small smile.

Weiss's fist tightened involuntary due to her worry but she was confused by her emotions. She didn't understand why she was acting like this.

Yang however noticed and smirked with a wide grin. 'Someone has a cru~ush!' She sang in her head.

Blake grimaced at the sight but Weiss's voice in her ear snapped her back to the task at hand. "Blake! I'm in position!" As she said this, the Schnee heiress leapt from an overpass onto the highway below and stood firm, getting into a stance as cars bypassed her.

"OK. I know we have aura and everything but that's more than dangerous you know…" Jaune deadpanned at the heiress causing Nora, Ruby and Yang to snicker at Weiss's shocked and slightly red face.

"It's not like I've ever actually done something like that!" Weiss tried to defend herself but Yang shot her down.

"True, but the fact that you would have done it doesn't make it much better Weiss Cream." Yang snarked, earning more laughs from the audience but Blake's mood soured a bit as she remembered her future self had led Torchwick onto a highway of all places.

Seeing this, Roman grinned sadistically, before rushing forward with the paladin. As the thief approached, Weiss flourished Myrtenaster and stabbed the tip into the ground, using Ice Dust to freeze the road over. Torchwick ran right over the ice and the paladin lost it's footing before it tumbled through one of the Hard-Light barriers and onto the ground below.

"Yeah! Go Weiss!" Ruby cheered as the paladin on screen fell.

"Okay, yeah, that was cool." Jaune mumbled slightly ashamed at the lack of his own skill but Pyrrha put a hand on his shoulder which cheered him up, the red head earning a small smile from the blonde.

"Admirable Miss Schnee. Reckless. But admirable." Ozpin said as he looked down at the white haired girl who blushed and looked away with a little bit of embarrassment.

"Thank you sir…" She mumbled quietly.

As the paladin hit the ground upright, Ruby was already waiting for it and was soon joined by the rest of her team. Torchwick chuckled at the sight before approaching. "Freezerburn!" Ruby shouted and her team moved accordingly to her command. Ruby and Blake retreated as Weiss froze the ground over once more, allowing Yang to leap into the air and crash back down, creating an icy fog that masked their movements.

"It's our team attacks!" Ruby shouted with glee. "We're going to see all of them in action! I wonder how well they work!" Yang chuckled at her sisters antics.

"If they all go as well as Freezerburn apparently did then I think we'll be alright. You came up with them after all." She said, ruffling her sisters hair. In response Ruby tried to squirm away and defend herself but she eventually surrendered to her sister's hand.

Jaune looked at the attack on screen with appraisal. "I should try thinking of some attack for our team…" He muttered.

That's an excellent Idea Jaune." Pyrrha smiled.

"We'll make the best! Team attacks! EVER!" Nora shouted, much to the others amusement.

Torchwick immediately activated the paladins laser targeting systems and began trying to locate the four huntresses in training, searching all around him but he grunted to himself as the four students had practically vanished.

Professor Ozpin smiled at the sight. They weren't even through with their first year and they were already such a strong team both in bond and might. They were still reckless children, especially children, but he felt they'd become one of the strongest teams to graduate Beacon this generation.

Suddenly, a black and white blur whizzed past and the lasers immediately snapped to that position but they were to late. Whoever it was was long gone and Torchwick had missed them.

"That was Blake wasn't it?" Pyrrha asked, slightly impressed at the display of speed.

"That was so cool! You completely zoomed past him!" Ruby yelled with stars in her eyes.

"Kitty cat's putting the work in. Torchwick couldn't even react in time!" She smirked as Blake bristled slightly due to the nickname.

Another blur zoomed past on the other side, also gone too quickly for Roman to react in time. However, as the fog began to disperse, Roman spotted Yang within the mist and fired energy blasts at her but they missed their marks.

"This is going to be good…!" Nora muttered with excitement, the rest of her friends sharing her sentiment.

With a scowl, he snapped his attention over to the right and attempted to predict Team RWBY's movements. He fired an energy blast and successfully managed to hit both Yang and Blake in one strike but Ruby used the blast as cover to rapidly advance on the paladin and deliver a clean strike.

"Oof…" Yang muttered as both she and Blake winced from the explosion they both tanked, nevertheless Yang smiled that Ruby had managed to take advantage of her own mistake.

"Admirably done Miss Rose." Ozpin complimented with a sly smile that made the younger girl fidget.

"I- uh… Thank you Professor." She squeaked which only made Ozpin chuckle.

"Checkmate!" Ruby shouted and Weiss and Blake surged forward, rapidly advancing on and attacking the paladin with quick and precise strikes. They forced Torchwick back before an opening presented itself, which Weiss used to attack and disable one of the turrets.

"Yeah! Go Team RWBY!" Ruby shouted with barely restrained excitement. Her glee kept rising the longer they watched.

Weiss preened at the cheers from her team. She had to admit she was satisfied with her future self's performance, her team included.

The heiress leaped away but Blake was not so quick, allowing Torchwick to raise the paladins leg in an attempt to crush Blake.

Blake's heart plummeted as she froze in anticipation, the gasps from her friends didn't help to ease her worries. Would this be it? Was this how she was going to die? Because she felt she had to try to stop the White Fang? She wasn't sure how she was supposed to feel.

Before he could, a Schnee glyph appeared underneath the faunus girl and she was thrown back just as the metal leg slammed down where she stood moments before.

Blake's eyes widened at the events on screen. She couldn't help but glance over to Weiss, who was currently being squeezed by her energetic team leader in a thankful hug as Yang looked on with similar emotions. A glance at Ozpin told her all she needed to know, with the impressed and grateful look in his eyes as he gazed at Schnee. Then Weiss looked at her and gave her a nod with a small smile which made her smile in turn.

She really did have good friends… And to think she and Weiss were at each others throats not too long ago...

Roman grunted in irritation and activated the paladins missile systems. A panel opened up and a dozen rockets spewed forth from the opening. Blake and Weiss quickly retreated, managing to avoid all of the projectiles, however, Weiss left herself open. With a smirk, Roman fired a dual blast which thundered forth, crashing into the white haired girl and sending her to the ground.

"No! Weiss!" Ruby shouted with a cry while Jaune, Pyrrha and Blake winced from the attack. Weiss only brought her right hand down on Ruby with a chop. The younger girl yelped and covered her head before turning to Weiss.

"Ow! What was that for?!" Ruby asked misty eyed but Weiss wasn't affected by the puppy eyes.

"I'm sitting right next to you, you dolt!" She exclaimed in irritation. Ruby blinked, looked at the screen, then back at Weiss, before repeating the motion a few times and finally settling on Weiss.

"… Oh yeah…" She muttered before chuckling nervously, causing Weiss to roll her eyes.

Before she fell, Weiss launched a glyph at Blake which formed underneath her in the image of a clock. The glyph began to spin as it activated, forming a glowing golden aura around Blake, before time slowed to a crawl for the faunus girl.

Roman fired another two dozen missiles but this time, Blake was able to react easily, slicing apart the projectiles with aura arcs which exploded in synchronization with the rest.

"Woah! So cool!" Ruby squealed while Yang also held an excited expression.

"Woah…" Jaune muttered with unrestrained awe before turning towards Weiss. "I didn't know you were able to do something like that…"

"It's one of my glyphs… I'm not very good at it yet but I can still use it." She said with a significant amount of pride before her mood soured due to her being unable to summon creatures with her semblance yet.

Ruby rushed past her with a shout. "Ladybug!" The two sprang into action, attacking the paladin from different directions with lighting speed, cutting apart it's wires and servos but doing little to actually stop it.

The paladin turned suddenly and blasted Ruby but she managed to avoid the attack by leaping into the air. Blake followed suit and both fell onto the paladin, delivering a devastating attack that destroyed one of the arms, causing it to fall to the floor, while significantly damaging the other.

"Heck yes!" Yang shouted, thrusting an arm into the air. "Take that Torchwick! Both of you are so cool right now!" She finished turning towards Ruby.

Nora immediately turned towards Jaune with a fire in her eyes. "Fearless Leader!" She declared, pointing at him. "We need to you to come up with moves like that!" The deceleration caused Jaune to chuckle nervously.

"Don't worry Jaune. I'm sure we'll come up with something." Pyrrha said while Ren nodded in the background, causing Jaune to smile.

"Thanks you guys. I'll put my head to work."

The paladin stumbled from the damage, knocking Torchwick around inside the cockpit as red emergency lights flashed. Yang, seeing the opportunity, jumped into the fight once more, leaping onto the paladin and pummeling it with blows, causing heavy damage. Inside the paladin, Roman growled in annoyance as his entire vision was filled with blaring alarms and red lights, alerting him to the damage.

"That has to be uncomfortable…" Ren commented. He knew what it was like to live with Nora so he knew how annoying loud noises could be even if he was used to them.

"I'm inclined to agree Mr. Ren." Ozpin commented, shuddering slightly at the memories of Glynda getting angry with him and trying to get him to do something. The shouting from the blonde Vice-Headmistress still rang in his ears.

Having enough, he propelled the paladin forward and crashed into a support pillar for the highway above them, Yang taking the brunt of the damage. As the blonde fell, the paladin readied a metal fist before slamming it into her limp form, sending her crashing through the support pillar which shattered from the force, Yang tumbling to the ground afterwards some distance away.

Most of the theater cried out in worry and concern but Ruby and Yang only wore smug smirks on their faces, as if they knew something the rest didn't. Weiss turned to the blonde beside her.

"Huh?! How can you just look so-… so unconcerned?! You just got punched by an Atlesian Paladin through a concrete pillar at full force!" Yang's smirk only infuriated her further.

"Chill out Weiss Cream. For someone so cold, you can get pretty heated." The theater groaned at the joke. "But in case you were wondering, I have an ace up my sleeve." She said proudly while jabbing a thumb at her chest.

'Indeed you do Miss Xiao-Long…' Ozpin thought, recalling himself looking through her student file.

"Yang!" Blake shouted worriedly but Ruby looked unconcerned and turned to Blake with a grin. "Don't worry!" She said as Yang began to stand up as if she hadn't been sent crashing through a pillar just moments prior. "With each hit, she gets stronger and she uses that energy to fight back. That's what makes her special!" As Yang stood tall, her her began to smolder as if starting to catch fire.

"Wait so that's what your semblance does? I thought you just get stronger with a side effect of getting angrier…" Jaune chuckled nervously from the mock glare Yang sent him.

"No Vomit-boy. Any damage I take, I dish out twice as hard. Though I sometimes have trouble controlling it if I get mad. The eyes and the hair is a side effect though but it looks cool." Yang said with a shrug and a grin.

"Perhaps that's something you should work on Miss Xiao-Long." Ozpin remarked as he sipped his cocoa, causing Yang to blush as the rest snickered at her expense.

"It was just fine,
We lived in peace,
Looked to a happy ending!"

Nora immediately gasped as she heard the lyrics on the screen. "Oh my god, there's music too?!" She yelled, her excitement shared by the rest of the audience.

"In any case, with the addition, it'll make looking at this like a movie a lot easier." Ren spoke up with a small smile, causing Ozpin to smile at him in turn.

Torchwick smirked inside the paladin, before scowling and throwing another haymaker at the blonde girl but instead of folding over and being sent flying, Yang didn't even budge an inch as the metal fist smashed into her, a small shock wave forming as the ground underneath her cracked, sending rubble flying everywhere.

"So cool…" Jaune mumbled as Yang smirked from the sight of herself looking so cool.

"I'm not sure if even I would have been able to take a hit like that…" Pyrrha said to herself, fairly impressed. Then her mood soured as she realized she wouldn't have even been in that situation due to her semblance.

"You're so cool Yang!" Ruby squeaked before hugging her big sister with a wide smile, which Yang returned eagerly.

"The days were bright,
They shined like gold,
Every step ascending!"

"Wait a second!" Yang interrupted. "The music started right when I started being cool so does that mean it's my theme?!" She yelled excitedly, a huge smile on her face. "The lyrics kind of fit too!"

"Well we'd need to listen to the rest of the song first." Ozpin said. "But perhaps you're correct about your assumption." He finished which made Yang only grin wider.

Torchwick's eyes widened before he growled in irritation. Yang looked up at the paladin, revealing her blood red eyes and furious gaze. She brought her left arm back and smashed her fist into the paladins remaining arm, which exploded into dozens of pieces which flew everywhere. The paladin stumbled, tossing Roman around on the inside as he growled.

"Even cooler…" Jaune added quietly as Nora cackled and cheered beside him.

"Our dreams came true,
Our path was clear,
The moon watched safely from above!"

Torchwick shouted in anger, slamming the paladins left leg into Yang, sending her flying into the distance from the attack.

"Oof…" Ruby muttered, before looking up at Yang. "I know your semblance helps you take hits but… Are you going to be okay after that?"

"Pfft!" Yang waved her arm dismissively with a grin. "Come on, this is me we're talking about here! I'll be fine." She said reassuringly.

'Such strength…' Ozpin thought to himself. 'If perhaps Miss Nikos declines my offer, maybe Miss Xiao-Long wouldn't be a bad second choice…' He mused while sipping his cocoa. He frowned when he realized he was out, before willing more into existence, the steaming dark life-blood filling his mug once more. 'I'm really starting to love this place.' Ozpin thought.

Ruby noticed and reacted quickly. "Bumblebee!" She shouted, prompting Blake to throw Gambol Shroud in it's sickle form at Yang, who caught it after a few seconds. Blake then proceeded to swing her back around, Yang using Ember Celica's recoil to build up more momentum.

"Is she going to do it?" Weiss asked herself, wondering if this attack would end it.

"SHH!" Nora shoved her hand over Weiss's mouth. "SHUSH! I'm trying to watch this!" She said. Weiss only huffed and rolled her eyes.

"But every smile is not the same,
And every heart's... Not... Filled... With... Love!
For mankind!"

She swung at the paladin like a wrecking ball heading for a crumbling building but Torchwick managed to move out of the way just in time.

"Aww…" Nora visibly sagged at the lack of destruction and mayhem but Ren comforted her by patting her back.

"We have to slow it down!" Ruby said as Weiss, who had recovered from the last attack joined her. "And how do you propose we do that?" She asked. Ruby only smirked. "Ice Flower!"

"Ah! It's this one, it's this one! It's our move Weiss!" Ruby turned towards the white haired girl with a huge smile, to which Weiss smirked back.

"Let's see how effective it is." She replied, before both turned eagerly towards the screen.

Torchwick watched from inside the paladin as Ruby and Weiss got into position, the former aiming Crescent Rose while the latter formed several Ice Dust infused Glyphs in front of her.

"Look around it's getting very hard to find!"

As Ruby fired, her high caliber round smashed through the glyphs which resulted in the bullet carrying the Dust along with it, before it slammed into the Atlesian Paladin, a huge chunk of Ice forming on the upper part of the machine, freezing it solid.

"Oooh! Pretty…" Nora muttered with a stricken expression, causing Pyrrha to giggle into her hand while Ren sighed in exasperation.

"It works! Our team attack works Weiss!" Ruby yelled before launching herself onto the Heiress who struggled to pry herself free.

"You dolt- I- I can't- BREATH!" She managed to squeak out before finally freeing herself from Ruby's death grip.

"Oh… Whoops! Sorry…!" She muttered but Weiss only looked towards the screen with a huff.

"Not every open wound is simply healed by time!"

Several more shots were fired, the paladin's movement getting more and more sluggish before eventually, the entire paladin was effectively frozen and thoroughly encased in Ice. Blake swung Yang around once again and as her hair blazed a trail of fire behind her, she smashed into the paladin, the entire thing crumpling like a piece of paper underneath the weight of her attack.

"YEAH!" Ruby, Nora, Yang and Jaune cheered simultaneously, the rest of the audience also participating although in a more subdued manner. Even Ozpin held a proud look on his face as he watched the paladin get destroyed.

"Good work Yang!" Blake said to the blonde with a smile which even Weiss mirrored on her own face.

"Aww it was nothing!" Yang said with a proud smirk.

"But revenge is always sweet,
And chaos is the prize!"

The Atlesian Paladin was thrown to the side, before smashing into pieces against the ground. Torchwick was sent rolling from the wreckage but stood up no worse for wear aside from getting dirt and grime all over his suit. "Just got this thing cleaned…" He grumbled as he dusted himself off.

Weiss sniffed at the comment Torchwick made. He was a criminal but she could understand the annoyance of dirtying freshly cleaned clothes.

"Aww what?! He's alright?" Yang grumbled to herself before cupping her hands over her mouth. "PUNCH HIM IN THE FACE FUTURE ME!" She yelled, causing Weiss and Pyrrha to wince slightly despite their smiles of amusement but resulted in Nora cackling like the mad woman she was, agreeing with her wholeheartedly.

"Feel it everywhere and you see it glowing!
Enemies arise and the hate is flowing!
Shattering the moon and bloodying the sky!"

Yang tensed for a moment at the lyrics, her smile faltering a bit, before she sagged. "Yeah, okay, I don't think this is a theme song for me…" She muttered dejectedly, causing some around her to snicker lightly while Ruby patted her shoulder. "It's still a good song though." She said with a raised finger.

He looked up as Yang fired of a blast from Ember Celica. The explosive soared through the air as Roman threw his arms over his face in an attempt to shield himself but at the last second, someone leaped in front of the attack, blocking it and saving Roman from the danger, who slowly lowered his arms when he realized he wasn't going to get an explosion to the face.

"NO!" Nora moaned with despair.

"COME ON! WE HAD HIM FOR CRYING OUT LOUD!" Yang cried with anger, her eyes turning a distinct blood red.

"Please don't get away, please don't get away…!" Ruby muttered to herself, clenching her fists and closing them tightly with worry.

"But the seeds of war will fuel both sides!"

'War?' Ozpin tensed. 'That doesn't mean what I think it does… Does it?' He thought worriedly but made no move to voice his thought.

A parasol was moved out of the way to reveal a short girl with a pink, white and brown color scheme who smirked at Team RWBY. Roman smirked at the new arrival before turning his attention towards the girls.

"Ooh! She's also pretty!" Nora said but a quick look over at the red head said she was only stating what she felt was fact, nothing more.

Yang huffed and rolled her eyes begrudgingly but her anger stayed. "Okay, yeah, fine she's kinda cute, whatever, but can Torchwick just get punched already?!"

Ozpin only chuckled in amusement at the whole situation.

"And the greed will only grow more lies!"

"Ladies~, Ice queen- Hey!- Always a pleasure!" He gave a mock salute to the girls as Weiss fumed in the background.

Yang's anger vanished in an instant, replaced by cackling which Nora joined in at Weiss expense as the white haired Heiress blushed red in embarrassment.

"Wha- You- But I- Stop laughing!" She demanded but the stuttering and the desire to hide herself away which bled through her voice only made them laugh harder. "Not you too Ruby!" Weiss whined.

Ruby only covered her mouth trying to stifle her giggles. "I'm sorry Weiss- snrk- but it's kind of funny…!" Even Pyrrha and Ren couldn't keep the mirth from showing through.

"Don't worry to much about it Miss Schnee. "Ozpin tried to console her but even he couldn't keep a small grin off his face. "It's all in good fun." He said which made Weiss melt at the realization that everyone in the room was laughing at her expense.

"Farewell to the days of peace!

'Cause now it's time... to... DIE!"

Jaune frowned slightly. The music was pretty good but the lyrics were kind of dark. He said as much. "That's kind of dark…"

Pyrrha nodded in agreement. "I wonder what it all means though…" She said.

'I might have an idea…' Ozpin thought to himself. 'But it would be best if you don't find that out. Not yet at least...'

He turned towards his partner. "Neo, if you would?" He asked as Neo gave a mocking bow, naked amusement on her face as she did so.

Yang's eyes immediately flashed red. "I hate her already." She said, the others giggling at her words.

As the rest of Team RWBY approached, Yang launched herself forward and with a yell, slammed her fist into Neo but to her shock, both Roman and Neo shattered like glass statues, before they faded into nothing.

"I'm sorry, what?" Jaune asked bewildered, blinking rapidly as if trying to dispel whatever hallucination he was experiencing. The others also held similar expression, minus Yang who still had anger written all across her face.

The sound of a roaring engine cut through the air suddenly, prompting Yang to look up, who saw both Torchwick and Neo watching them from a bullhead compartment which closed as they flew away into the distance. Ruby, Weiss and Blake caught up to Yang, joining her in looking at the retreating bullhead.

"I hate her even more now… I'm gonna punch her whenever I meet her for real…" She muttered darkly to herself. Ruby nervously chuckled as she slowly pushed herself away on the couch she was sat on.

"You do realize attacking an individual unprovoked, even if they are shown to be a criminal on screen, would be considered a crime. Don't you Miss Xiao-Long?" Ozpin asked only half jokingly, causing Yang to freeze at the implications.

"Fine…" She muttered. "But as soon as I catch her doing something… I'm going to punch her… So, so hard…" Ozpin only chuckled.

"I'm sure you will Miss Xiao-Long." He sipped on his cocoa once again.

"So I guess he got a new henchmen…" Yang commented, her red eyes reverting to their natural Lilac.

"Yeah…" Weiss responded. "I guess she really made our plans… Fall apart?" She offered, glancing at Yang with a giggle. "Eh? Eeh?" She inquired as she raised a hand.

The collective groan of every living soul in the room sounded in Weiss ears at the joke her future self made on screen. She turned to look at everyone staring at her in disapproval, even Yang.

"What?! Why is it fine when you do it but when I try to make a joke, it's not okay anymore!" Weiss asked slightly hurt. Before anyone could respond, she heard someone chuckle.

Weiss turned to find Ozpin struggling to stifle his soft chuckles but chuckles nonetheless. Someone found her joke funny!

"That was…" Ozpin began, Weiss's hope rising by the second. "One of the worst jokes I've ever heard in my entire life." He finished, Weiss collapsing into her seat from the brutal shut down of her attempted humor.

"No. Just… No." Yang said as Blake had already turned and began walking away.

"What?! But you do it!" Weiss accused, placing her hands on her hips with a frown.

"There's a time and a place for jokes." Yang explained.

Weiss adopted a confused look. "Was this not it?" She asked genuinely uncertain.

"No, it just wasn't very good." Yang said bluntly as she began to follow after Blake.

"Hear hear!" Yang raised a hand into the air as Nora mimicked her, both with grins to Weiss's chagrin.

"Well at least I'm trying!" Weiss said, also following after the two.

"Wait…" Ruby started as she realized she was forgetting something. "Where are Sun and Neptune?"

Nora blinked once, then twice, then for a third time before she opened her mouth and let out an "Oooooh!" of realization. "I completely forgot about them." She said with a sheepish grin.

"I hope they're alright." Pyrrha added, slightly concerned.

The view suddenly shifted to the aforementioned Haven students sitting at a noodle bar with the name 'A Simple Wok'. "They're probably fine right?" Neptune asked curiously as the duo enjoyed their food.

"Dammit Sun…" Blake muttered as she pinched the bridge of her nose in exasperation.

"Well… At least they're okay…" Ruby mumbled with a nervous smile, hoping to establish a silver lining.

"I guess…" Yang shrugged. "Kinda sucks that they practically ditched us but I guess I don't really blame them."

Sun looked over in between bites of food. "Probably." He conceded before getting back to his meal. Neptune shrugged before also returning to his meal, the screen cutting to black immediately after.

"Uhh… Is that it?" She asked before turning to Ozpin. "That's all there is for this one right? Or is there more?" She mumbled uncertain.

Ozpin fiddled with the remote for a second before coming to a conclusion. "Yes, that's all there is this time around… Shall we continue?" He asked with a raised eyebrow.

"Well it was pretty fun." Jaune spoke up with a smile.

"And, as much as I hate to admit it, informative." She bristled at the stares she got. "To a certain degree. I still think there are better ways to spend our time but… It was also entertaining…" She finished with a light blush.

"Might as well keep going. Assuming we have all the time in the world that is, which we apparently have somehow…" Blake blinked and shook her head slowly. "I'm not going to try to think about that fact."

"Very well." Ozpin said, causing everyone to tense up in anticipation. "Let us continue then." He said, as he randomly selected another time, another place and other people to watch in another universe.
