No pairing, I intended this to be LalColonello but then again, I think every female character in the manga would feel exactly the same were they to be left by their loved ones. You may read this as LalColo, KyokoTsuna, KyokoRyohei, HaruTsuna, BianchiGoku, etc, whatever suits your heart :)
It is as if she were left in an empty, dark shell. There was no exit, no light, nothing at all.
Everything went away with him, slipping through her fingers, slipping past her grip. And just as fast as it happened, she was lost again, shed off of every strength, every conscious. The worst thing was she couldn't even bring herself to cry. She couldn't even shed a tear for her beloved even though she knew he would no longer return to her arms. Even when she knew there would be no more smiles and grins aimed at her and only her, even when she knew there would be no more friendly arguments to go along with her decisions, even when she knew her heart could never be whole again, she couldn't cry. She just couldn't, everything happened in a blitz, it's too much of a shock, one minute he was talking to her and the next minute she turned her head and he's a goner.
It happened just like that. Snap! And he's gone, and it's no longer temporary leaves per usual, it's for ever. Permanent. And so was her heartache.
