"This is not cruddy fair!"

Wally's shriek startled the Asian girl that sat next to where he stood by the bench into yelping and shifting a little in her seat. Numbuh Two – across the table from Kuki – grinned toothily at the outburst. Kuki glared at the blonde with a pout before returning to enjoying her ice cream cup with a hum of delight.

"You're still worked up over that?" Hoagie asked, plopping a fry that was dripping of ketchup into his mouth to soften the smirk that threaten to reappear. Wally dropped his tray to the table with an unceremonious splatter of potatoes. He straightened himself next to his former crush before regarding his best friend was a scowl.

"The cruddy teacher is out to fuckin' get me."

His fellow teenage boy quirked an eyebrow, "Just 'cause she keeps partnering you with the same girl?"

With a huff of agreeing disgust, Wally crossed his arms across the broadness of his chest. Hoagie watched his leafy-green optics flicker underneath the curtain of his shaggy bangs. "I don't like that girl," the Aussie stated with a snort.

The stupid – undeniably pretty, yes – blonde was always trying to make him look like an idiot. In the midst of the chemistry lab was a favorite place.

"Really?" Kuki chirped, interjecting into the conversation. She had finally looked away from her frozen treat though she continued licking at the spoon, happily trying to savor every sprinkle of rainbow-cupcake that she could.

What a stupid question. "'Course."

Numbuh Three blinked before she dropped her spoon from her fingertips, letting it make a metallic clank against her tray. Her lashes fluttered in an oozing of mischief as she turned to her teammate with a feigned frown. "Oh – I guess she'll disappointed at hearing that."

Hoagie snickered nearly choking on his chocolate milk.

Kuki glanced at him (Wally blinked in confusion, was she smirking?) before sighing, "After all, you did make-out with her in the hall."

Numbuh Four was suddenly painted all shades of red as he let out an offended (embarrassed, confused, panicked, aggravated) spewing of curses. Heads turned to face the scene and Kuki shrunk into her sweater with a triumphant smile.

The nearby pilot cackled with glee as he exchanged looks with his Asian friend. Showing his teeth in a wolfish grin, he turned to Wally. "Dude – hallways never stay empty!"
