I'm back! I hope you enjoy this chapter. I hope I didn't make Kai too OC in this. If I did then please tell me.

Chapter 1: Reunion

"We should also invite the White Tiger X since they've been with us since the very beginning." Ray suggested.

"Good idea." Kenny said. He typed the team name down on his laptop. "Did we forget anyone?" He asked the others. The Bladebreakers sat in Tyson's living room planning for a reunion. There was no Beyblade tournament this year, and life went on as usual with school, homework, and a lot of training. It had been a year since Tyson had won the World Championships for the third year in a row. And unfortunately he didn't let anyone forget it, even until this very day.

"Well let's see. We've got the PPB All Starz, Saint Shields, F Dynasty, BEGA, and the White Tiger X. I don't think we should invite any more people. Should we?" Max asked.

"Don't you remember Maxie? BEGA changed their team name to Radical after last year at the World Championships." Tyson said.

"Oh yeah, I forgot about that." Max realized.

"We should all go somewhere fun for everyone. We can book plane tickets for everyone and meet there." Ray recommended.

"Well, we should go back to Europe. The last time we were there it was for a tournament so we didn't quite get a chance to see everything there. How about it?" Max said.

"Sounds like a plan Maxie. We're going to Europe! Again!" Tyson exclaimed.

"I've never been to Europe. I wonder what it's like." Hilary said.

"Oh yeah, you weren't with us when we went there were you? It's really nice there, I'm sure you'll like it." Ray told Hilary. He was also the nice one of the group. That's one thing that everyone respected him for. "Hey Kai, you haven't said a word. What do you think?" Ray called over to his teammate. Kai sat by the window on the sunny afternoon just looking onto the streets.

"Whatever. I don't care as long as Tyson won't be bothering me the whole time." Kai remarked. Everyone laughed except for Tyson, who groaned and threw a cushion at Kai. Kai caught it easily and threw it back hitting Tyson right in the face.

"Hey, that hurt!" Tyson whined.

"Well now, is a bag full of feathers too much for Tyson? Or maybe I should extend your training while dragging out the whip to toughen you up." Kai replied. Tyson gave an 'I-should-shut-up' face and sat down quietly on the couch. The whole team sweatdropped while Kenny sent out the invitations to the teams by e-mail.

"There we go. Now hopefully we'll get the replies back some time tomorrow. I want to know how many tickets to book for our trip to Europe."

"Excuse me? I'm gonna be the one doing all the work as usual while he gets all the credit." Dizzi said with obvious irritation in her voice.

"Don't forget who's pushing the buttons around here. Literally." Kenny countered.

"Ok, ok, calm down you two. Now why don't we all go out to the river or something? I mean it is summer vacation, we should at least go outside and have some fun while we have the chance." Ray reasoned. They all agreed and started heading down to the river. It was already late afternoon, and the sun was still high up in the sky.

"Hey I could sure go for some ice cream. It's boiling out here." Hilary said. For once it wasn't Tyson or Max pleading for ice cream, it was Hilary.

They each bought one ice cream cone from a nearby stand and ate it joyfully while walking to the river. Tyson and Max both bought double fudge chocolate, Ray had settled for vanilla, Hilary went for strawberry, Kenny chose orange, and Kai had his usual mint chocolate chip which had been his favorite since he could remember.

Once they were at the river, they sat down on the soft grass. Kai lay down on the grass and stared up to the clouds. Licking his ice cream he started picturing the forms each cloud had taken.

A small puppy, a cat, a pig…

"Hey, look at that one! It looks just like you!" She exclaimed while pointing to the clouds in the sky. Her sapphire eyes looked towards the person sitting next to her.

"It does not. I say it's more like a pig." He countered, his two-toned hair flowing in the soft breeze.

"Exactly."

"Now what's that supposed to mean? You calling me a pig?" He got up acting as though he was hurt by the comment. She giggled at his expression that was made.

"Maybe…"

Kai shot up straight. He had dozed off for a few minutes. The dream had seemed real too. As if it was a memory from his past. But how could it? From what he could remember, he'd never been happy. He'd always done what Voltaire had wanted him to do. But then again, he could never remember what had happened after he escaped Balkov abbey. And he now learned that he couldn't trust what Voltaire told him. Maybe he wasn't always such a lone wolf. Maybe…

"Kai, are you ok? You seem panicked." Ray inquired.

"I…I do?" Kai stumbled out. He'd never acted like that before.

"Come on Kai! Pick up a rock!" Tyson shouted as he picked up a rock and tried to skip it across the river. Apparently, they had been doing that for a while now. The rock just sank into the bottom of the river as Tyson whined. Kai chose a flat rock that was beside him, and he skipped it over the river six times.

"Show off." Tyson mumbled.

"You have to pick a flat rock Tyson. Here, try this one." Hilary suggested. She held another flat rock in her hands similar to Kai's and handed it to Tyson. Tyson threw it and it skipped three times.

"Hey, I did it! You rock Hilary!" Tyson shouted. Hilary's cheeks went a little pink at the comment, but she regained her composure shortly. This didn't go unnoticed by Ray however, who grinned inwardly.

They had all finished the last of their ice cream and had decided to stay at the river a little while longer. The Bladebreakers were enjoying the time when suddenly a loud scream was heard.

"Those are the Bladebreakers! Oh my God! There's Kai!" One girl yelped as the others followed. The teen shot up and started running for dear life.

"Why me and not you?" Were Kai's last words before he was off running to who knows where? There they were, a huge group of girls that were all part of Kai's fan club. They all chased after him with pens in hand. Some girls had paper for him to sign, but some just planned on having Kai sign on them. All they needed to do was catch him…

"Why does this always happen to Kai? What's he got that I don't?" Tyson asked while walking on the streets with the rest of his team.

"I can come up with a million reasons and more for that question but I'd just be wasting my time." Hilary sighed.

"Now that was just plain mean." Tyson protested yet again.

"It's kinda late. I hope Kai's not too tired from all that running." Ray wondered aloud.

"Don't worry. With all that training we've been doing in the past year he can run a marathon without getting too tired. Besides, at least this way he'll definitely have an appetite for supper." Max joked.

"No doubt in that." Kenny added. They laughed while they entered the dojo. They took off their shoes as they heard a noise coming from the kitchen.

"Sorry bout that lil dudes. I was tryin to cook some supper for all ya peeps. Hope ya'll like spaghetti." Tyson's grandpa said.

"Mmmm, smells good. Can I help you with anything?" Hilary asked.

"No thanks little lady. Just enjoy your time with the boys!" With that Tyson's grandpa left to finish supper. "Oh by the way. Where's the lone wolf that always hangs with you lil dudes?" He asked from inside the kitchen.

"He's being chased by his fan girls." Tyson said grudgingly. As if on cue, Kai ran into the dojo and closed the door and shut in a split second, panting heavily of course.

"Remind me…to never…ever…go out…in public…ever…again…" He said in between pants. From inside the dojo, the team could hear the girls looking for Kai. After a couple minutes they gave up searching in that area and left to go find him somewhere else. Kai gave a sigh of relief and rested on the floor. "That was close." He said. He got up from the floor and sat near the window looking out to the streets again. No one ever knew why he always sat there looking out in that specific direction. Ray noticed that he started doing this one year ago right after the Championships, although he never knew the reason why.

"Hey gramps! You need any help?" Tyson offered.

"NO!" Everyone shouted.

"The last time you helped with cooking, we all ended up barfing the next day." Max said.

"Well I was improvising. We ran out of sugar so I had use soya sauce instead." Tyson countered. At this comment everyone made a gagging noise.

"You put soya sauce in the PUNCH? No wonder it was so nasty. Just thinking about it makes me wanna gag." Hilary screamed. They all laughed as Tyson's grandpa called them from the kitchen.

"Time to eat peeps!" He yelled.

"Mmmm, that smells so good! I love spaghetti! It's like my favorite!" Tyson commended.

"That's Tyson for ya. Things will never change with him." Max laughed. They all gave out a snicker and sat at the kitchen table for supper. They all ate and cracked sarcastic jokes now and then. Mainly at how supper was so much better than Tyson's punch.

"I resent that!" He said.

"Wow, what a big word for such a small brain." Kai teased. Tyson got up from his chair and threw his spaghetti at Kai who dodged it easily. "That was excellent aim there. In fact, why don't you join a baseball team, you might help out keeping the bench warm and all." Kai finished.

"That's it lil dudes. Any more horsin around and you'll be cleanin the entire dojo!" Tyson's grandpa yelled. Tyson immediately shut his mouth and sat down in his chair again.

"I don't have any more spaghetti!" He whined. "I threw it all at him." He pointed over at Kai who sat there still eating his supper with a grin. Tyson stuck his tongue out at the leader and Kai gave him a frightening death glare. "Ok, ok, I give, I give!" Tyson finished with his hands in the air. The night continued with more laughter and soon it was already late at night.

"Hey look guys! I got a reply from all the teams already!" Kenny yelled, very excited. "Looks like everyone from Radical can come. I can't wait to see Ming-Ming!" He said with a sigh.

"KENNY!" The Bladebreakers yelled.

"Ok, ok. Let's see. Only Mariah and Lee can come from the White Tiger X. Michael and Rick can come, but the other PPB All Starz members won't be able to make it. And Judy's got an important research project that she has to attend. Sorry Max." Kenny added after seeing the disappointment in the blonde's eyes.

"It's ok Chief. I can see her some other time anyways." Max said with clear regret in his voice.

"It looks like Mariam's the only one in the Saint Shields that can come. And only Julia's able to come from F Dynasty. Too bad, I wanted to analyze Ozuma's Beyblade some more. But I'm sure Mariam's Beyblade will be just as good." Kenny finished reading the e-mails he received. "So it looks like we're booking eleven tickets for everyone to Europe. Oh and I can't forget about us. That's six more tickets to Europe. All expenses made possible by Mr. Dickenson of course."

"But, where in Europe are we going to? I mean it is a pretty huge continent." Hilary asked.

"That's a good question. But I would like to visit the former Soviet Union countries." Kenny added.

"Aw c'mon Chief, that's all boring stuff. Why don't we pick some place where we all wanna go to?" Tyson implied.

"Well, we can always go to Paris. I've always wanted to go to the 'City of Love' in all its glory. And I wanna see the Eiffel Tower." Hilary said dreamily.

"Been there, done that." Tyson said.

"Well, Hilary hasn't been to Paris so we should take her there." Ray suggested. "Besides, I'd like to get some of Oliver's French recipes." Ray added.

"Hey let's go back to Italy! And check out all the Italian cuties that Enrique knows." Tyson said slyly.

"Well it looks like we can't go to any of those places. They don't have anymore tickets for those countries. We can always go to Switzerland first. It's in the middle of the countries that we wanna go to." Kenny proposed. "Then we can just take a train to the places we want to go to in Europe." He finished.

"Sounds like a plan!" Tyson exclaimed.

"I can't wait to get there! But…they don't speak English or Japanese there, do they?" Hilary asked.

"In Switzerland, there are four main languages which are French, Italian, German, and Romansh. But it's mainly German and then French." Kenny said.

"I don't care; I just wanna try some of that world famous Swiss chocolate." Tyson said as he drooled at the thought.

"Tyson, you're drooling all over the couch!" Hilary lectured. "Anyways, I doubt anyone speaks any of those languages."

"Not true." Kai spoke up. "I know Japanese, English, Cantonese, Mandarin, French, Italian, Russian, Spanish, Greek, German, Vietnamese, Tagalog, and a little bit of Dutch." Kai said. Everyone was in awe at how many languages he knew.

"And you speak all of them fluently? But…how?" Ray asked in disbelief.

"Well, except for Dutch, yeah. I was…kind of forced to back at the abbey." Kai explained, looking down.

"Then it's settled. I booked the tickets for everyone and I've already sent an e-mail as to where we'll meet in Switzerland. We'll go to Bern, which is the capital I believe." Kenny explained. "I booked the tickets so that we'll leave in four days. Better get packing, 'cause we'll be there for a while."

It was settled, everyone would meet in Switzerland at the airport. It was a reunion no one would ever forget.
