This is probably the last of the really short chapters. Although there may be some scatted depending on how the story flows.

Chapter 6: Reasons

Ow. I guess I pushed it too hard last night. My wounds didn't heal much and they hurt like shit in human form. Unfortunately, climbing up multiple skyscrapers whilst heavily bruised and lugging large pails of water and sponges did not allow Inuyasha much finesse. In fact, it was probably fortunate for his aspiring title as a hero that the one dropped pail landed a foot away from that old man's head as opposed on it. Giving someone brain damage probably wouldn't be good for his image. At least I didn't do something as stupid as tumble off a building. Crazy climbs can be believable, but surviving a multi-story drop without injuries?

"Good morning Miroku," he greeted. It may have been 8am, but we was pleased with himself.

"Good morning? Who are you and what have you done with Inuyasha? And why do you smell like paint?" questioned Miroku with a rather bewildered expression.

"Paintball fight with Sessh. Anyways, it's a good morning cause I was right! The crimson vigilante is a selfless hero. They cleaned up that graffiti last night," he said with quite the smug grin.

"Hmm I heard about that, definitely something of an improvement for the area," replied Miroku.

"Told ya!"

"Although it could still be a youkai."

"Sure, believe what you want, still a selfless one though." Trying to dissuade Miroku at this point would be rather pointless.

"Depends on why they did it."

"Huh? Cause they wanted to do a good thing that's why!" answered Inuyasha.

"Or maybe they're local to the area and it was becoming too much of an eyesore to them," suggested Miroku.

"Are you serious? They did the right thing, who cares the exact reason!"

"Calm down. I did not say it was a bad thing. I was just justifying that it could still be a youkai."

"Yah well maybe they're just trying to be good. And youkai can be selfless," Inuyasha defended.

"Since when do you believe in youk-"

"Class!"

"Ugh. Hey, I don't care what nonsense your brother has for you. You really should come and hang with Kagome, Sango, and I after classes today."

I've really been too busy for them. "Keh! Fine."
