AN: Disclaimer- I do not own any of the FNL characters or anything to do with the series

That being said, thanks to the positive feedback from my first FNL story (Welcome to the Family), I made this sorta sequel. It is basically Tim Riggins thinking about four of the women in his life that he comes into contact with during the series. Depending on what you guys think I might try to add some more later :) Enjoy and Happy New Year!

Tim Riggins and the Big Unsolved Mystery: Girls

Tyra

He didn't understand why she was so angry. It didn't make sense; she and Jason weren't even close. Why did she care if he went to visit Street or not? She'd usually get all irritated at him for spending too much with Six in the first place…what had got her panties in a bunch?

He started to resent her- why should she try to force him to do something that he didn't want to do? What did she get out of it if he went to visit Jason or not?

Lyla

He didn't understand why she was so upset. Maybe that hadn't been the best description of his feelings, but it wasn't a line or anything.

He really did feel closer to God when he was with her.

Didn't she see how she felt? He had thought that his feelings were pretty obvious. All he could do was leave the house and wonder what he had done that was so wrong.

Mindy

He didn't understand why she didn't want him to live at Riggins Ranch anymore. He was a Riggins long before Mindy had even thought about marrying Billy. It was his house!

He understood why Billy asked him to leave. It was easy enough for anyone to see that Billy was completely and utterly whipped. Tim didn't even know if they should call it Riggins Ranch anymore. Maybe it was more like Collette Camp. Whatever.

So he'd move out of the only home that he'd ever known away from the only family that he had left because Mindy said so. He guessed that he didn't really mind that much- living with a pregnant Mindy was a little scary.

Becky

He didn't understand why she was ignoring him. One day they went from being close confidantes and friends to…nothing.

It had to be the kiss. That was the only explanation. But that didn't really make sense. She had been the one to kiss him. It had seemed so perfect, being out there on his land and watching the sunset. Being with someone who actually understood him, who thought he was worth something.

Maybe she had changed her mind; after all he did sleep with her mother.

Tim

In jail, he had a lot of time to think about things. One thing that he thought about a lot was girls. Becky wrote him letters every week. Tyra would sometimes come up to visit with Billy and Mindy and even Julie Taylor would write him the sporadic letter now and again. But he never heard anything from Lyla. As he thought about this, he came to one really crucial conclusion.

He never had and never would understand women.

Sure, he could sweet talk them and charm them and get into their pants better than probably just about anyone else that he knew; but when it really came down to it- he would never understand what was going in the female brain.
