Poetry, based on Ghost In The Shell. Or at least inspired by the soundtrack, if not the world directly. This is now a collection, and was formerly called "I Do" and please, PLEASE review if you want me to continue this series.

3. An artist's scream

Music often is

An artist's scream.

Music often is formed from

An artists dream.

Lyrics speak volumes.

Many times an artist's dream

Of a world without censors

Becomes a hit.

The lyrics

That once shouted at the world now

Softly hide behind the melody

If they are to be present at all.

An artist's scream, once it has been

Approved and

Auto-tuned and digitized and

Watered down for publishing...

Finally it

Becomes a hit.

The scream muted

And the melody ripped apart

And later recycled

For marketing purposes.

Random music from the series brought this to mind. I hate censors. I hate foul language, but will defend anyone and their right to it.

I feel like this is something that only grows in Ghost In The Shell.
