Note: This is a retelling of Retro's old Dragon Ball AU so some things will be different.

Tournament and Tower Arc

On a dying Amazon planet called Olympia an infant called Xena is sent away to start a new life and the destination is Earth. Her pod is found by a renowned martial artist Hercule Satan who's now retired, he decided to raise the infant as his own and gave her a new name Videl Satan.

Through out the years earth had been attacked by various powerful enemies but had always been stopped by a Sayian named Son Goku. Also in his team of Z Fighters was Vegeta Prince of the Sayians, Goku's son's Son Gohan and Son Goten, Vegeta's Son Trunks, the Namekian Piccolo, and his human friends Krillin, Yamacha, Tien and Chiaotsu. They also had help from Bulma Brief wife of Vegeta and president of the corporation Capsule Corp., Gine Goku's mother who gained eternal youth thanks to a previous wish from the dragon balls and Son Chi Chi Goku's wife who both trained with them from time to time, and Lazuli previously known as Android 18 and who married Krillin and even had a daughter named Marron. The most recent friend they got is are formed Majin Buu.

They've fought many enemies, like the Red Ribbon Army, King Piccolo, Lord Frieza, Perfrect Cell, Kid Buu, and even the God of Destruction Beerus. Now the world is in peace after the fight with Beerus deciding not to destroy Earth, Videl reflects having learned during the Majin Buu incident that she is an alien. She also reflects that ever since she married Gohan and her daughter Pan being born that she's been slacking off on her training. She then start's training again because she wants to become stong enough to keep up with everyone and wants to protect her family from any new threats. She had learned everything from Hercule Style but she wanted to learn something more, she yearned to get stronger so her father suggested meeting an old friend of his who could help her learn new techniques. She thanked her father, said goodbye to Gohan and Pan and went on her way.

The School was located on an island so she took one off the Hercule Satan helicopters and asked the pilot to drop her off. She then saw a fairly small house, wouldn't seem like a martial arts school at first glance. She enters the house and is introduced to Jackie Dan, Hercule's old teacher. He tells her that he knew one day she would come to seek his help and now he will teach her many things. Before she started moving forward he told her that female students will need a stipulation in order to be taught by him, female students need to be barefoot. Videl finds it a little odd and wonders if he has something like a foot fetish but she accepts and takes off her shoes and is now barefoot. Jackie then guides Videl to her room and gives her the gi she will be wearing. After putting on the gi she looks at herself in the mirror, the color of the is white and purple, they were baggy and white, the waistline was purple. The top consists of a white shirt and also has purple bands on her wrists. Videl quickly likes her new gi and soon comes to the training hall.

Once in the training hall she's told by Jackie that other girls have come here to train as well. When the girls walk's out she instantly recognized them as Chi Chi, Bulma, and Lazuli . They're wearing a similar gi to Videl with different coloration, Chi Chi's gi is yellow with a purple waistline and bands, Bulma's is blue with a cyan waistline and bands, Lazuli's is black with a grey waistline and bands. They told Videl that they also wanted to train and learn new techniques along with protecting their family and fighting along side the Z Fighters. With that out of the way they begin training, one of the things he teaches them is shooting out energy from their feet. At first it feels kinda funny having the energy come out from their soles but they quickly get the hang of it.

All of them quickly adapt to fighting barefoot and they actually like the feeling of the earth beneath their soles. Gohan even came by a few times too check in on his mother, and wife, and even spars with them occasionally. In just a few months Videl has really become a star pupil. The next Tenkaichi Budokai Tournament is just a few days away, everyone is ready to see how far they've come and to just fight in a regular tournament like in the good ol days. Everyone meets back up the day of the Tournament, the men notice that the girls are all barefoot but they tell them how effective it is and how soothing it is as well. They accept it pretty fast, Marron tells her mother that she also started training. Jackie Dan and Hercule also decided to enter to test their skills, The Tournament will be divided into Men, Women, and Junior Divison. Goku, Vegeta, Krillin, Gohan, Hercule and Jackie are in the Mens. Videl, Chi Chi, Bulma, and Lazuli are in Womens, and Trunks, Goten and Marron are in Junior's.

Trunks and Goten make it to the Junior Finals with Goten having won due to his experience in the previous Tournament. Marron even though she didn't make it to finals was still proud of herself and both her parents congratulate her for trying really hard. Next for the Women Division during semifinals is Videl vs Bulma, Videl fires ki blasts from the soles of her feet as well as Bulma. Videl ends up winning due to Bulma's not being experienced as a result knocks Bulma out of the ring. Next semifinal round is Chi Chi vs Lazuli, they block each other's punch and kicks also having their ki blasts impact against each other. They've both had experience fighting each other but Chi Chi wins due to her being more experienced and exploited Lazuli making a mistake. Videl and Chi Chi make it to finals and begin their showdown, they seem pretty evenly matched. As the fight goes on they begin channeling energy into the soles of their feet and fire a Kamehameha from their feet. The energy beam struggle is intense but Videl's Kamehameha wins out due to her alien power and thus defeats Chi Chi and wins the Women Division. She's proud of what she accomplished

On the Men Division Jackie won again Hercule due to his experience though Hercule was glad he fought his old master again. Gohan won against Krillin due to his Sayian Power. Next Jackie fought Gohan but managed to win with his own impressive power and attacks along with misdirecting him leading to ring out. Next is Goku and Vegeta, their battle was the closest two constantly trading blows, reading each other's attacks and going Super Saiyan. Ultimately the battle came to a climax when both used their signature attacks Kamehameha and Final Flash, it was close but Goku barely won out by having Vegeta slightly out of the ring which still counted as ring out. The final round of the Men Division came down to Goku vs Jackie Dan, the battle was intense and Jackie was able to keep up with Goku's moves and attacks but ultimately his power was just on another level thus Goku won. Though Goku may have won the match he ultimately gives Jackie the win because he doesn't care about a trophy or title, all he wants is to get stronger and fight many strong opponents. Jackie thanks Goku for the experience and the crowd cheers.

After the tournament Gine talks to Jackie about going to his school herself and he instantly agrees. Soon everyone goes their separate ways. A week later Videl pays Jackie another visit and tells him she's still wants to seek out more challenges and while he can't teach her anything anymore, he does know of a Legendary Tower of Amazons that houses some of the most strongest female fighters around located in the Amazon Rainforest. Gine also happens to say high to Videl and she noticed Gine also has the same style gi she has only hers is teal with a white waistline and bands, she tells Videl that she like fighting and being barefoot so she decided to fully commit to being barefoot. Videl is glad to hear it, with that she say's farewell to the two and heads off to the Tower of Amazons.

She then makes it to the Tower and enters it, Videl challenges the 7 female fighters who greet her at the entrance. To her surprise they are also barefoot just like her, they all introduce themselves. First is Doris a theif, she has straight medium maroon hair and wear's a black one piece sleeves suit, she also wears fingers gloves that cover her forearms and the feet are stirrups that exposes her heel, balls of the foot, and toes. Next is Natasha who's an assassin, she's fairly tanned with brown puffy hair that goes halfway down her back, she's wearing an Arabian styled outfit with a green tube top, green harem pants, golden wrist rings, golden wrist anklets and a golden necklace. She's also got two daggers. Third is Kung Fu Master Mei-Ling, she has long dark violet hair tied into a ponytail, her outfit is a pink and white qipao and black baggy pants. Fourth is a tech master named, she's got a short bull cut light green hair, she's wearing a green nano metal suit with limousine yellow lines all around her body and her bare feet revealed, she also has circular glasses. Fifth is a ninja Katara, her hair is blonde with the bottom of her hair being tied into a ponytail, she's wearing a red floral kimono, and has fishnet leg braces on her legs. Sixth is a mixed martial artist named Rei. She's also tanned skinned with red spiky hair, she wears a blue sports bra, black sports shorts, and has bandages wrapped around her forearms also around her ankles to her calves. Seventh and final is the leader and psychic Sabrina, she has long black flowing hair that gets down to her waistline, she wears a white long coat, white gloves and white pants.

They all are looking forward to their match and say that if she beats them all she gets a special reward. Videl is intrigued by this and also looks forward to the matches. The 7 walk farther into the building, soon after they've reached their respective floor the matches begin. First floor is Doris, while she did have some impressive distraction techniques she ultimately feel pretty fast. She is impressive by Videl's awareness. Next floor is Natasha, while she is fast and has great weapons skills with her daggers she ultimately also falls fast as well. She commends Videl on her reaction speed. Third floor is Mei-Ling, while she is ultimately more of a challenge than the last two and her martial arts skill definitely keeps up with Videl she eventually falls as well. She's impressed by her fighting style. Fourth floor is Irena, her nano metal suit is impressive with constructing various weapons to swords, an arm cannon, being able to create a jet pack but she also eventually falls. She's impressed by Videl's power and super human abilities. Fifth floor is Katara, while she's able to use various ninja techniques to her advantage like laying traps and using bushin-no-jutsu, she's defeated by Videl's incredible sense. She gives Videl good luck and praises her strong mind and patience. Sixth is Rei, she has incredible power and seems to be giving Videl a run for her money, but she ultimately loses thanks to Videl's ki blasts. She commends her on her mastery of ki. Final floor is Sabrina, while she definitely seems to at first be winning thanks to her psychic abilities Videl adapts to her opponent and finishes her off with a Feet Kamehameha. All the previous fighters come to the seventh floor and everyone congratulates Videl on beating the tower, they then give her the prize which turns out to be the seven dragon balls. Videl and the Z Fighters had wondered where they all this time, they explain that every now and then they travel the world looking for the balls in order to have a prize for those who want to challenge the tower also that the tower has a field that blocks them from being revealed which explains why the dragon radar never caught their signature. They also explain that she's the second person to ever successfully complete the tower, the previous one was a woman named Gine. They give the balls in a bag to Videl and she thanks all of them for the matches, they also were glad to meet her and would like to see her again when the tower reappears later. She says farewell and flies off, the seven go back into the tower and then the tower disappears until it reappears next time.

She flies back to Jackie Dan's house wondering what to wish for, when she gets there she's greeted by Chi Chi, Bulma, Gine, Lazuli, and Jackie. They returned to see how much they improved, they all decided to spar with each other. Once the sparring is done she explains what she's been doing to everyone and decides what her wish is, when they call upon Shenron and wishes eternal youth for her and her friends that way they can continue to improve as fighters also staying fit forever. The dragon grants the wish and they become eternally youthful, this really doesn't effect Gine or Lazuli since Lazuli is an android and Gine already wished for that. The one this affects the most is Jackie as his hair and mustache turns from grey to brown, he really feels like he did back in the day. With the dragon and balls disappearing waiting to be found next year, the girls go their separate ways and Jackie goes back to being able to teach effectively again. Videl reunites with her family, both her father, daughter, and husband glad to see her again. What ever the future may hold they'll fight it together
