"Is everyone still asleep...?" Minako yawned as she stepped down off the stairs into the lounge. She was clad in pajamas and her hair a tossled mess. At the sound of a knock at the door, she headed that way.
And just as she was about to answer it, a hand slipped over her mouth and an arm around her waist, dragging her away from the door and into the cornered off study. Once released, she turned to punch whoever had startled her, but Minato caught her wrist easily and held one finger to his lips.
"Shh."
"What is it?" Minako grumbled, rubbing whatever sleep was left from her eyes.
"It's them," he muttered, silently peaking out the window through the curtains.
"Who?" she asked, joining him at the window. "Ah...!"
"Shh."
Outside Theodore stood on the sidewalk in front of the building, book in one hand and the other hand stretched out palm-up as he stared up at the sky absently. Turning to see just outside the front door, Minako found Elizabeth, still knocking fervently.
"Isn't it supposed to pour today?" she mumbled.
"Yep."
"Think they'd go away when that happens?"
"Nope."
"So we have to let them in?"
"Looks that way."
"Dammit..."
"We should install escalators to replace the stairs outside."
"Minato, that's horrible."
Here you go, have another.
Those two are dooorks. c:
